【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、内視鏡カバーとカバー
用内視鏡とを組み合わせて使用するカバー式内視鏡に関
し、特に、内視鏡カバーの挿入部カバーとカバー用内視
鏡の挿入部との固定に関する。
【0002】
【従来の技術】近年、内視鏡は、工業分野・医療分野な
どで広く用いらている。医療分野で用いられる内視鏡
は、生体内に挿入した場合、生体内に挿入した挿入部の
外表面のみならず、挿入部先端に設けられている観察窓
の洗浄のために設けた送水管路や送気管路、或は、不用
体液などの吸引や処置具の挿通を行うための処置具チャ
ンネルなどの内蔵管路の内表面にも体液や血液などが付
着する。このため、一度患者に使用した内視鏡を再使用
する際には、感染症などを確実に防止するため、洗浄消
毒を充分に行わなければならなかった。しかし、内視鏡
を洗浄消毒するには手間と時間がかかり、複数の人に対
して連続して検査を行うためには、内視鏡を複数本用意
する必要があり、経済的負担が大きかった。
【0003】そこで、検査毎に内視鏡の挿入部などをカ
バーで覆い、このカバーで覆った内視鏡を生体内に挿入
し、検査終了と同時に生体内に接触したカバーだけを廃
棄するようにした、いわゆるカバー式内視鏡が提案され
ている。
【0004】しかし、カバー用内視鏡に内視鏡カバーを
被せて検査を行うようにしたカバー式内視鏡では症例中
に内視鏡カバーの挿入部カバーとカバー用内視鏡の挿入
部との固定部が位置ずれして観察に支障をきたすおそれ
がある。
【0005】このため、内視鏡カバーの挿入部カバーと
カバー用内視鏡の挿入部とを確実に固定するため、実開
平3−101901号公報には内視鏡の先端構成部の外
周部に係止溝を設ける一方、挿入部カバーの先端構成部
の内面に凸部を設け、前記溝部と凸部とを係合させて固
定するようにした内視鏡カバーが示されている。また、
実開平3−101905号公報には内視鏡の先端構成部
と挿入部カバーの先端構成部とを貼着して固定するよう
にした内視鏡カバーが示されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、前記実
開平3−101901号公報で示されたように溝部と凸
部とを係合して固定する内視鏡カバーでは、内視鏡の先
端構成部と挿入部カバーの先端構成部との部品寸法にバ
ラツキが生じると、内視鏡先端構成部とカバー先端構成
部との間にガタが生じ、このガタによってカバー先端構
成部に設けたレンズカバーと内視鏡先端構成部に設けた
光学窓との距離を適正に保てない。この結果、フレア,
ゴースト,視野ケラレといった光学性能上の問題が発生
し、最悪の場合には内視鏡検査ができなくなるという問
題点があった。また、カバー先端構成部に形成した凸部
の弾性を利用して、内視鏡先端構成部の溝部に着脱する
ため、固定力量が小さいと使用中に外れてしまい、十分
な固定強度を得ようとすると溝部と凸部とで形成される
係止部を大きくする必要があり、係止部を大きくすると
着脱性が悪くなるという問題があった。
【0007】一方、前記実開平3−101905号公報
で示されたように内視鏡の先端構成部と挿入部カバーの
先端構成部とを貼着にて固定する際、内視鏡先端構成部
とカバー先端構成部とが所定位置に達する前に貼着し、
その結果、カバー先端構成部に設けたレンズカバーと内
視鏡先端構成部に設けた光学窓との距離が適正になら
ず、フレア,ゴースト,視野ケラレといった光学性能上
の問題が発生し、最悪の場合には内視鏡検査ができなく
なるという問題点があった。
【0008】本発明は上記事情に鑑みてなされたもので
あり、内視鏡先端構成部及びカバー先端構成部の部品寸
法のバラツキに関わりなく、簡単で且つ、確実にカバー
用内視鏡の挿入部を内視鏡カバーの挿入部カバー部に固
定されるカバー式内視鏡を提供することを目的としてい
る。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明によるカバー式内
視鏡は、内視鏡カバーとカバー用内視鏡とを組み合わせ
て使用するカバー式内視鏡において、前記内視鏡カバー
の先端に設けられるカバー先端構成部と、このカバー先
端構成部に対して移動自在に配設され、このカバー先端
構成部に対して相対的に移動させ、前記内視鏡の先端部
とカバー先端構成部との間に介在させることによって、
前記内視鏡カバーに覆われる内視鏡挿入部の側面を押圧
して前記内視鏡挿入部を内視鏡カバーに対して固定する
固定部材とを備えたことを特徴とする。

【作 用】この構成によれば、固定部材を、カバー先端
構成部に対して相対的に移動させて、内視鏡の先端部と
カバー先端構成部との間に介在させることにより、内視
鏡カバーに覆われる内視鏡挿入部の側面を押圧して内視
鏡挿入部を内視鏡カバーに対して固定する。

【実施例】以下、図面を参照して本発明の実施例を説明
する。図1ないし図4は本発明の第1実施例に係り、図
1は内視鏡カバー方式の内視鏡装置を示す図、図2は内
視鏡カバーのカバー先端構成部の概略構成を示す断面
図、図3は固定部材の概略構成を説明する図、図4は固
定部材の作用を示す図である。
【0012】図1に示すように内視鏡カバー方式の内視
鏡装置1は、内視鏡カバー方式の内視鏡(以下、カバー
式内視鏡と略す)2を有する装置である。
【0013】前記カバー式内視鏡2は、内視鏡カバー
(以下、カバーと略記する)3と、このカバー3に装着
される内視鏡カバー用内視鏡(以下、カバー用内視鏡と
略記する)4とを組み合わせて構成される。内視鏡検査
を行う際には、清潔なカバー3によってカバー用内視鏡
4の挿入部などは覆われ、検査後にはカバー3は破棄さ
れ、一方、カバー用内視鏡4は、新しい清潔なカバー3
によって覆われ、繰り返し使用されることが特徴とな
る。これにより、検査後における内視鏡の洗浄,消毒を
不要とするものである。
【0014】前記内視鏡カバー方式の内視鏡装置1は、
前記カバー式内視鏡2と、このカバー式内視鏡2に接続
される各種周辺機器などを内設したカート5と、前記カ
バー式内視鏡2を保持するカバー保持具6とを有してい
る。
【0015】前記カート5には、例えば光源装置7,ビ
デオプロセッサ8、流体制御装置9、カバー3にカバー
用内視鏡4を装着する際に使用する内視鏡カバー拡張器
(以下、拡張器と略記する)10などが収納されてい
る。また、前記カート5の上面部には、ビデオプロセッ
サ8からの映像信号を受けて内視鏡画像を表示するモニ
タ11が載置されている。
【0016】カバー用内視鏡4は、細長の内視鏡挿入部
14の手元側基端部に太径の把持部を兼ねた操作部12
が連設され、操作部12の側部からユニバーサルコード
13が延出しており、このユニバーサルコード13の端
部にコネクタ15が設けられている。
【0017】光源装置7は、前記コネクタ15を介して
カバー用内視鏡4と着脱自在に接続され、カバー用内視
鏡4に照明光を供給するようになっている。また、ビデ
オプロセッサ8は、前記コネクタ15の側部から延出す
る信号ケーブル16を介してカバー用内視鏡4と着脱自
在に接続され、カバー用内視鏡4に内蔵された撮像手段
の駆動、及び撮像手段から出力される信号に対する信号
処理を行い、標準的な映像信号に変換してモニタ11へ
出力するようになっている。
【0018】前記拡張器10は、拡張チューブ17が接
続され、この拡張チューブ17を介してカバー内に空気
を送り込んで拡張するためのものであり、このカバー3
を拡張することにより、カバー用内視鏡4のカバー3へ
の装着あるいは抜去が容易にできるようになっている。
このカバー用内視鏡4にカバー3を装着あるいは取り外
す際にはカバー保持具6を用い、例えばカバー保持具6
によってカバー3の基端側を保持してカバー用内視鏡4
を挿入あるいは抜去する。
【0019】カバー3は、軟性の挿入部カバー部18
と、薄肉で軟らかい例えば塩化ビニルなどの高分子材料
で構成した操作部カバー部19及びユニバーサルコード
カバー部20とを備えており、カバー用内視鏡4の挿入
部14,操作部12,ユニバーサルコード13をそれぞ
れ覆うようになっている。
【0020】流体制御装置9は、送気制御弁21,送水
制御弁22,吸引制御弁23が設けられ、送気,送水,
吸引をこれらの電磁弁で制御するようになっている。送
気制御弁21,送水制御弁22,吸引制御弁23は、そ
れぞれに挿入部カバー部18から延出している送気管路
24,送水管路25,吸引管路26が接続されている。
【0021】また、吸引制御弁23には吸引チューブ2
7が接続され、その端部には図示しない吸引器が接続さ
れ、内視鏡先端部より不用な体液などの吸引を行うよう
になっている。送水制御弁22には送水チューブ28が
接続されており、その先端部には送水タンク29が接続
されている。さらに、流体制御装置9からは2本の送気
チューブ30が延出しており、送気制御弁21と送水タ
ンク29とに接続されている。
【0022】ここで、挿入部カバー部18の先端部分を
構成するカバー先端構成部について説明する。図2に示
すように前記カバー3の挿入部カバー部18は、先端部
分にステンレスなどの金属部材や樹脂部材などの硬質部
材で形成したカバー先端構成部31を備えている。この
カバー先端構成部31には段部32が形成され、この段
部32に細長な挿入部カバー外皮33の一端部が固定さ
れている。
【0023】前記カバー先端構成部31にはカバー用内
視鏡4の挿入部14の先端部分である内視鏡先端構成部
14Aが挿入される内視鏡挿通用透孔34,図示しない
送気・送水用チャンネル孔及び吸引用チャンネル孔35
が形成されている。前記内視鏡挿通用透孔の先端側開口
部にはレンズカバー36が配設されており、前記吸引用
チャンネル孔35には吸引用チューブ37が固定されて
いる。なお、前記挿入部カバー外皮33及び吸引用チュ
ーブ37は、カバー先端構成部31に接着あるいは溶着
によって固定されている。
【0024】前記内視鏡挿通用透孔34に近接するカバ
ー先端構成部31の側面には前記内視鏡挿通用透孔34
に連通し、且つカバー用内視鏡挿入方向に対して略鉛直
な透孔38が形成されている。図に示すように前記透孔
38は、内視鏡挿入方向に対して鉛直なストレート穴3
8Aと、カバー先端構成部先端面側及び内視鏡挿通用透
孔側に向かうにしたがって開口面積が大きくなるように
傾きθの斜面部39を有する傾斜穴38Bとで形成され
ている。なお、この透孔38には後述する破線で示す固
定部材40が配設されるようになっている。、図3に示
すように前記透孔38に配設される固定部材40は、透
孔38のカバー先端構成部外周側面に形成したストレー
ト穴38Aの直径より大きなフランジ部41と、カバー
先端構成部31の内視鏡挿通用透孔34に配設されるカ
バー用内視鏡4の挿入部14の後述する内視鏡先端構成
部の側面を押圧する内視鏡押圧面42を備えたフランジ
部側にいくにしたがって投影面積が小さくなるように傾
斜角θ1 で形成した傾斜面43を有する押圧部44とで
構成されている。
【0025】前記フランジ部41の底面部41Aから内
視鏡押圧面までの距離(X)と、内視鏡先端構成部31
の段部32の外周面から内視鏡先端構成部31に形成し
た内視鏡挿通用透孔34の内周面までの肉厚(t)との
間にはX≧tの関係が成り立つ。また、内視鏡押圧面4
2の面積は、透孔38の傾斜穴38Bの開口面積より小
さく形成してある。さらに、前記傾斜面43の傾斜角を
θ1 と、前記斜面部39の傾きθとの間にはθ<θ1 の
関係が成り立つ。このため、固定部材40は、固定部材
先端部43Aをカバー先端構成部外周開口側から透孔3
8に対して挿通することにより、図4(A)に示すよう
にカバー先端構成部31に配設することが可能であると
共に、前記透孔38に配設後は固定部材40に設けたフ
ランジ部41によって内視鏡挿通用透孔側への脱落が防
止され、且つカバー用内視鏡挿抜方向への移動が自在に
なっている。
【0026】上述のように固定部材40をカバー先端構
成部31に配設したカバー3の挿入部カバー部18とカ
バー用内視鏡4の内視鏡先端構成部14Aとの固定方法
を説明する。まず、図4(A)に示すように固定部材4
0を配設したカバー先端構成部31にカバー用内視鏡4
の内視鏡先端構成部14Aを挿入して、この内視鏡先端
構成部14Aの図示しない先端部をカバー先端構成部3
1の所定位置に位置決めする。
【0027】次に、図4(B)に示すようにカバー先端
構成部31に配設した固定部材40をカバー先端構成部
先端面側に移動させていく。すると、固定部材40の傾
斜面43がカバー先端構成部31のストレート穴38A
と傾斜穴38Bとが交叉する作用部38Cに当接する。

先端構成部先端面側に移動させていく。すると、図に示
すように固定部材40の傾斜面43が前記作用部38C
に当接しているので、固定部材40は傾斜面43の傾斜
角θ1 に沿ってカバー先端構成部先端面側で且つカバー
用内視鏡の挿入部側面に向かって移動していく。

たカバー用内視鏡4の内視鏡先端構成部14Aの側面を
固定部材40の内視鏡押圧面42が押圧し、内視鏡押圧
面42と挿入部側面及び固定部材の傾斜面43と作用部
38Cとの間に生じる摩擦力によってカバー用内視鏡4
の内視鏡先端構成部14Aが挿入部カバー部18のカバ
ー先端構成部31の所定位置に位置決め固定される。
【0030】このように、カバー先端構成部と固定部材
とを別体に形成し、別体に形成した固定部材をカバー先
端構成部にカバー用内視鏡挿抜方向に対して移動自在に
配設し、この固定部材の押圧面がカバー先端構成部に形
成した内視鏡挿通用穴に挿通したカバー用内視鏡の挿入
部の側面に向かって移動するように構成したことによ
り、前記内視鏡挿通用穴に挿通されたカバー用内視鏡の
挿入部を、固定部材の押圧面で押圧して固定することが
できる。このことにより、カバー先端構成部やカバー用
内視鏡の挿入部の部品寸法のバラツキに関わりなく、内
視鏡カバーの挿入部カバーとカバー用内視鏡の挿入部と
を確実に固定することができる。
【0031】なお、固定部材のカバー先端構成部への配
設箇所は1箇所に限定されるものではなく、複数箇所設
けることによって、固定強度を増大させることができ
る。また、固定部材の配設位置を、内視鏡先端構成部の
中心軸に対して対称になるように設けておき、内視鏡先
端構成部が内視鏡挿通用穴内で中央に位置するように設
定することによってフレア,ケラレなどの光学性能上の
不具合の発生をより少なくすることができる。

はカバー先端構成部の概略構成を示す図、図7はカバー
先端構成部にリング状固定部材を配設した状態を示す

本実施例の固定部材は図8に示すようにカバー先端構成

して移動自在なようにリング状に形成したリング状固定
部材52である。

43を有する突起部54が一体的に設けてある。

欠部55の傾きθと突起部54の傾斜面の傾斜角θ1 と
の間には前記第1の実施例と同様に、θ1 >θの関係が
ある。その他の構成は前記第1実施例と同様であり同部
材には同符号を付して説明を省略する。

外周面にリング状固定部材52を係合したカバー3の挿
入部カバー部18にカバー用内視鏡4の挿入部14を固
定する際、図8に示すようにカバー用内視鏡4の内視鏡

視鏡挿通用透孔34の所定位置まで挿通する。

端構成部手元側端面51Aと切欠面55とが交叉する作
用部51Bに当接する。

面43と作用部51Bとの間に生じる摩擦力によってカ
バー用内視鏡4の内視鏡先端構成部14Aがカバー3の
カバー先端構成部51の所定位置に位置決め固定され
る。その他の作用は前記第1実施例と同様である。

ング状固定部材を内視鏡挿抜方向へ移動させることによ
って、カバー用内視鏡の内視鏡先端構成部をカバー先端
構成部の内視鏡挿通用透孔に着脱自在に固定することが
できる。

面に係合するリング状固定部材としたことにより、固定
部材の把持する部分が大きくなって作業者の操作性が向
上し、挿入部カバー部とカバー用内視鏡の挿入部との着

である。

に係り、図9は固定部材の別の構成を示す図、図10は
固定部材の作用を示す図である。図9に示すように本実
施例では固定部材40の傾斜面43を形成する傾斜角θ
2 を第1実施例の傾斜角θ1 より小さくしている。すな
わち、θ2 <θ1 の関係である。また、この傾斜角θ2
とカバー先端構成部31に形成した傾斜穴38Bの斜面
部39の傾きθとの間にはθ2 <θの関係が成り立つよ
うに形成してある。その他の構成は前記第1実施例と同
様であり、同部材には同符号を付して説明を省略する。

傾斜角θ2 を、カバー先端構成部31に形成した斜面部
39の傾きθより小さくなるように構成したことによ
り、カバー用内視鏡4の内視鏡先端構成部14Aがカバ
ー先端構成部31の内視鏡挿通用透孔34の所定位置に
配置して固定部材40で内視鏡先端構成部14Aを固定
しようとするとき、前記固定部材40をカバー先端構成
部先端面側に移動させると、固定部材40の先端部43
Aがカバー先端構成部31の斜面部39に当接して内視
鏡押圧面42が内視鏡先端構成部側面方向に移動して、
カバー用内視鏡4の内視鏡先端構成部14Aを押圧して
カバー先端構成部31の所定位置に固定する。その他の
作用及び効果は前記第1実施例と同様である。
【0044】なお、前記第2実施例で示した切欠面55
の傾きθに対する突起部54の傾斜面43の傾斜角θ1
を上述の関係が成り立つように傾斜角θ2 で形成するこ
とにより、この変形例と同様の作用・効果を得ることが
できる。
