Description of the Related Art Recently, ink ribbons used in impact type printers have decreased in conventional spool type, and long tape-shaped ink ribbons are folded and stored in a cassette, and both ends of the ink ribbons are ultrasonically welded. There is an increasing number of cassette-type cassettes that have an endless fused portion that is fused (bonded). Normal,
When printing, the ink ribbon is impacted by the head pin of the printer and gradually destroyed, but the above-mentioned fused part is less durable than the normal base cloth part, and the life of the fused part is longer than that of the ink ribbon. There is a strong demand for improving the durability of the fused portion of the ink ribbon because the life of the ink ribbon is affected. As described above, it has been earnestly desired to improve the durability of the ink ribbon fusion portion due to the recent rapid increase in speed and impact of the printer.

There was a problem that it was not sufficient and the workability at the time of fusion bonding was poor. Further, with the increase in speed and impact of printers, high durability of the ink ribbon fusion portion has been demanded, but it is the current situation that these requirements are not satisfied.

In other words, the weft yarns that make up the base cloth are lower than the melting point of the warp yarns.
It is characterized by the fact that it is composed of a polymer . That is, the low-melting side of the weft mainly fused, by leaving the high melting point side of the warp mainly in fiber form
, base fabric to form a fused portion in which a mix of fibers and fused portion However, it was surprisingly clarified that the durability of the fused portion is significantly improved. Constructing the base fabric of the present invention
The weaving yarn to be used is polyamide fiber, polyester fiber,
Polyacrylic fibers, polyvinyl fibers, etc. may be mentioned, and as the polyamide fibers, nylon 46, nylon 66, nylon 6, nylon 610, nylon 1 are used.
First grade. From this fiber, but the fiber used for the warp and weft so that it can impart a melting point difference is selected, it is important that low melting point of the weft yarn than the melting point of the
warp
The melting point difference is preferably 5 ° C. or more. In particular, a base fabric in which the warp yarn is nylon 66 and the weft yarn is nylon 6 is preferable in terms of cost and durability of the fused portion.
The relative viscosity of sulfuric acid of the polymer constituting the warp or weft is
It is preferably 2.4 to 3.8 from the viewpoint of the durability of the fused portion, and the content of titanium oxide contained in the yarn is preferably 0.1% or less, but is particularly limited to this. is not. The total fineness of such yarn is generally 5 to 150
You can use denier. Further, the single yarn fineness that constitutes such a yarn is preferably 0.6 to 4.0 denier, which is generally used, for constituting the base fabric. Single yarn denier is 0.6
When it is less than denier, the durability of the base fabric portion tends to decrease, and when the single yarn denier exceeds 4.0 denier, the printing sharpness tends to deteriorate. Both warp and weft may be untwisted, but preferably 150-70.
From the viewpoint of weavability, it is better to carry out additional twisting in the range of 0 T / m, and more preferably in the range of 200 to 600 T / m. The fabric structure of the ink ribbon base fabric includes plain weave, induction plain weave,
Twill weave, satin weave, and the like are used, but not limited thereto. The fabric density of such a fabric may be such that the warp is preferably 130 to 600 yarns / in, more preferably 140 to 550 yarns / in, and the weft yarn is preferably 1
00-400 lines / in, more preferably 110-350
Books / in is enough. The ink ribbon base fabric thus obtained is woven and then subjected to usual scouring and finishing set. Preferably, it is scoured by liquid scouring and then 1 with a pin tenter.
It is good to finish-set in the range of 60 ° C to 240 ° C.
Then, an appropriate amount of an ink material such as an oil-based ink is attached (impregnated) to the base cloth, and then fused to form an endless ink ribbon. Such fusing is performed by using ultrasonic welders on both ends of the ink ribbon base fabric.
The base fabric for an ink ribbon of the present invention may be subjected to a suitable post-treatment such as high-pressure liquid treatment, plasma treatment, surfactant treatment, and resin treatment. The ink ribbon formed by using the thus-obtained ink ribbon base fabric of the present invention has excellent durability of the fused portion of the base fabric and also has excellent durability of the base fabric portion.
