【産業上の利用分野】本発明は両端面のほぼ中央部に凸
部及び凹部を有するフロア材の凸部上面の隅部付近にあ
る角度をなして止具を打ち込む打込機に関するものであ
る。

【従来の技術】図3は従来の打込機でフローリング施工
における取付材であるフロア材の打込作業を行っている
例を示し、図4は図3の射出部3先端の部分拡大図を示
す。フロア材10は、両端面のほぼ中央部に凸部11及
び図示しない凹部があり、凸部11の隅部12に対しあ
る角度をなして(通常はほぼ45゜)止具8が打ち込ま
れ、次のフロア材10の凹部と嵌合するようになってい
る。フローリング施工の時には、プッシュレバー5の先
端にフローリング施工専用のノーズキャップ6aを装着
して作業を行う。この時ノーズキャップ6aをフロア材
10の隅部12に案内する先端の凸部13は、射出口4
の軸線17上にあった。すなわちノーズキャップ6aの
中心線と射出口4の軸線17は一致していた。なお1は
打込機本体、2は図示しないシリンダ、圧縮空気蓄積室
等を内蔵したボデー、9はフロア材10が止具8を介し
て止められる被打込材、14はピストンと一体のドライ
ブビット、16はマガジンである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】図5は射出口4内にお
ける止具8の状態の一例を示す。射出口4内では止具8
の長手方向は必ずしも射出口4の軸線17の方向と一致
するとは限らず、傾いた状態で設置される場合もある。
この場合、止具8の先端はフロア材10の隅部12から
外れてフロア材10の上面に打ち込まれたり(図6)、
フロア材10の凸部11側にずれて打ち込まれたりす
る。止具8がフロア材10の上面に打ち込まれてしまう
と、そのフロア材10は使用できなくなり、止具8とフ
ロア材10を取り外してもう一度新しいフロア材10を
張り直す必要がある。本発明の目的は、上記した従来技
術の欠点をなくし、フローリング施工の仕上がり及び作
業性を向上できるようにした打込機を提供することであ
る。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的は、射出部先端
をフロア材の隅部に案内するノーズキャップの先端の凸
部を射出口の軸線からずらして設けることにより達成さ
れる。

【作用】上記のように構成された打込機において、フロ
ア材に止具を打ち込む際は、プッシュレバーの先端に専
用のノーズキャップを装着し、ノーズキャップの先端の
凸部を射出口の軸線からずらして設けることにより、止
具が射出口内で傾くことが原因でフロア材の上面に打ち
込まれるのを防止できるようになる。

【実施例】図1に本発明打込機でフローリング施工にお
けるフロア材10への止具8の打ち込み作業を行ってい
る例を示し、図2に射出部3先端の拡大図を示す。図1
においてフローリング施工におけるフロア材10の取付
け作業は、フロア材10の端面のほぼ中央部に凸部11
があり、凸部11上面の隅部12にある角度をなして
(通常はほぼ45゜)止具8を打ち込み、次のフロア材
10の凹部と嵌合する構造となっている。このため打込
機は、正確なポイントに止具8を打ち込むために通常鋼
材からなるプッシュレバー5の先端に、通常ゴムまたは
はプラスチック等の弾性体からなる専用のノーズキャッ
プ6をその弾性力を利用して取り付けており、フロア材
10の凸部11の上面隅部12にガイドする構造となっ
ている。そして打込機は常時図示しないスプリングによ
り打込機本体1の下方に押圧されているプッシュレバー
5をフロア材10に押し付けプッシュレバー5を押し上
げ更にトリガ15を引くことにより止具8を打ち出すよ
うになっている。または、最初にトリガ15を引き、そ
の後でプッシュレバー5を押し上げて止具8を打ち出す
ようになっている。

は、図1に示すようにプッシュレバー5の先端にノーズ
キャップ6が射出口の軸線17とハンドルの軸線20の
2本の軸線を含む平面がフロア材10の隅部12である
直線に平行になるように取り付けてあるため、打込機本
体1を横方向に傾け(通常はほぼ45゜)ノーズキャッ
プ6の先端の凸部13をフロア材10の隅部12に当て
て打ち込み作業を行う。この時、図2に示すようにノー
ズキャップ6の先端の凸部13を射出口の軸線17から
直角方向でフロア材10の端部方向に約0.5〜2.0

が傾いたとしてもフロア材10の上面に打ち込まれるこ
