Description: BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a nursery bed for transplantation, and more particularly, to a nursery bed for transplantation formed on a cell tray for transplantation which vertically and horizontally divides a nursery bed. 2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, nursery beds are formed in each cell of a cell tray by embankment, and seedlings such as vegetables are grown in each cell, and the grown seedlings are mounted together with the cell tray on a transplanter. Agricultural cultivation in which seedlings are pulled out from a cell tray by hooking the embankment portion with a nail provided on the transplanter and transferred to a field has been widely practiced. [0003] However, since the nursery beds are formed by embankment, the seedlings may be rooted well inside the embankment, but may not be rooted seedlings such as beans. There is a possibility that when the embankment portion is hooked by the nail of the transplanter, the embankment portion may be distorted and the seedlings may be dropped, and a nursery bed using the embankment may cause inconvenience in transplant cultivation. Here, instead of embankment, it is conceivable to use an artificial medium composed of a solid block made of phenolic resin or the like, which has recently attracted attention. However, when this artificial medium is used, in the process of seed germination, There is a problem that the germination rate is reduced by inhibiting the successful germination of the seeds, such as the embryos not appearing on the ground due to enlargement due to water absorption. An object of the present invention is to ensure high germination rate without inhibiting seed germination,
An object of the present invention is to provide a nursery bed for transplantation that does not lose its shape and has good workability. Therefore, in order to achieve the above object, in a nursery for transplanting formed in the cell tray 1, a solid medium 21 to be filled at the bottom of the cell tray 1 and an upper part of the solid medium 21 And a nutrient layer 22 covering seeds to be sown. [0007] According to the above configuration, at the time of transplantation, the solid medium formed on the bottom can be hooked by the nail of the transplanter and transferred to the field, so that the nursery bed can be deformed. The seedlings can be transplanted without any problems, and there is no danger that the seedlings may be broken and fall down, unlike a nursery bed with embankment. [0008] In addition, since the seeds are covered with nutrient soil on the upper portion of the solid medium, the seeds can be germinated smoothly, and the seeds can be germinated without being affected by the enlargement due to water absorption during the germination process. Exposure to the ground surface promotes good germination and ensures a high germination rate. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS In FIG. 1, reference numeral 1 denotes a cell tray for growing seedlings such as vegetables. The cell tray 1 is formed with a plurality of rectangular cells 11 having a bottom and divided vertically and horizontally. A nursery bed 2 is formed in each cell 11 to grow seedlings such as vegetables, and the grown seedlings are mounted on a transplanting machine together with the cell tray 1 and transferred to a field by the transplanting machine. As shown in FIG. 2, the nursery bed 2 is filled with an artificial medium 21 made of a solid block made of phenolic resin or the like at the bottom of the cell 11 and laminated with a nutrient 22 covering the seed S to be sown thereon. It is formed as follows. The seed S may be buried to a depth such that the seed S is covered with the soil 22 after the soil cultivation 22 is stacked. After the artificial medium 21 is filled, the seed S is sown thereon, and then the seed S is sown. S
May be covered with the soil 22. [0011] More specifically, the artificial medium 21 comprises:
The cell 11 is filled to about half the depth, the soil 22 is stacked on the remaining upper half, and the seed S is embedded in the soil 22 to a depth in contact with the solid medium 21. [0012] In the nursery bed 2 thus formed,
As shown in FIG. 3, the seed S exposes the embryo to the ground surface without being affected by enlargement due to water absorption during the germination process in the nutrient medium 22 while the roots are stuck in the solid medium 21. It germinates smoothly. Next, a method of transferring the young seedlings P grown on the nursery bed 2 to a field using a transplanter will be briefly described. FIG. 4 shows a walking type transplanter having an engine mounted on the front upper part of the traveling machine body. The planting device 3 is provided at the rear of the machine body. A transport device 4 for vertically transporting the cell tray 1 containing a large number of young seedlings P grown at a predetermined pitch, a seedling extracting section 5 for extracting and releasing the young seedlings P one by one from the cell tray 1 transported by the transport device 4. And a transplanting nail 6 for inheriting the seedlings P released from the seedling extracting section 5 and transplanting them into the ridges U. The seedling picking section 5 includes a seedling picking nail 51 which pierces the seedling P in the cell tray 1 and takes it out.
An extruding body 52 which is provided so as to be able to advance and retreat around the outside and pushes out the seedling P pierced into the seedling extracting nail 51;
And an operation mechanism 53 for reciprocating the extruded body 52 between a seedling removal position in which the extruded body 52 is positioned on the upper side of the cell tray 1 and a discharge position in which the extruded body 52 is positioned on the upper side of the transplanting nail 6. As shown in FIG. 5, P is a seedling removal claw 51 with the extruded body 52 retracted at the seedling removal position.
Is pierced to the outside, and after the removal, the extruded body 52 is moved to the discharge position, and the extruded body 52 is advanced toward the tip side of the seedling removal nail 51 at the release position.
Is released into the transplant nail 6. The transplanting nail 6 is provided with split claws 61, 62.
From the seedling transfer position to the ridge U, the seedling is moved along the long circular arc-shaped planting locus R from the seedling transfer position to the ridge U, and is released into the transplant nail 6 at the seedling transfer position. When the seedling P is located at the position where it protrudes into the ridge U, the split claws 61 and 62 are opened and transplanted into the ridge U. In the transplantation using such a transplanter, when the young seedlings P grown in the nursery bed 2 are pierced with the seedling removal nails 51 and taken out, the solid medium 21 is filled in the bottom of the nursery bed 2. Therefore, the solid medium 21 can be hooked and taken out by the seedling take-out nails 51, the nursery bed 2 can be transplanted without deforming, and the seedlings P may be broken down and dropped like a nursery bed with only embankment. However, transplantation can be performed reliably and well. In particular, the present invention is suitably used for seedlings such as legumes, which have less roots. [0018]
