本発明は、脱穀部と前方に突出する搭乗運転部とを搭載した走行本機の前部に、植立穀稈を刈り取って前記脱穀部に搬送供給する刈取部を、前記搭乗運転部の左右一側に位置する状態で昇降自在に連結し、左右のうち前記搭乗運転部とは反対側に位置する縦向き軸心周りでの揺動により前記走行本機の前方部に位置する刈取作業姿勢と走行本機の前方を開放する開放姿勢とに切り換え自在に前記刈取部を構成してあるコンバインの刈取部取付装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
縦向き軸心を構成する走行本機側の支軸の上端に前記刈取部を支持させるに、従来では、支軸側の刈取部取付部を縦向き軸心よりも前方に配置していた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、上記従来の技術によるときは、圃場において穀稈詰り解除などのメンテナンスを行うために、刈取部を対地浮上させて刈取作業姿勢から開放姿勢に揺動操作する際、支軸の刈取部取付部が縦向き軸心から前方に突出位置している分、支軸に掛かる刈取部重量に起因した前倒れモーメントが大きくなって、ガタツキなく強固に刈取部を支軸に支持させるには、支軸及びそれの支持構造を大掛かりなものにする必要があって、構造の大型化及びコストアップを招来していた。

請求項1に係る本発明のコンバインの刈取部取付装置の特徴・作用・効果は次の通りである。

脱穀部と前方に突出する搭乗運転部とを搭載した走行本機の前部に、植立穀稈を刈り取って前記脱穀部に搬送供給する刈取部を、前記搭乗運転部の左右一側に位置する状態で昇降自在に連結し、左右のうち前記搭乗運転部とは反対側に位置する縦向き軸心周りでの揺動により前記走行本機の前方部に位置する刈取作業姿勢と走行本機の前方を開放する開放姿勢とに切り換え自在に前記刈取部を構成してあるコンバインにおいて、前記縦向き軸心を構成する走行本機側の支軸の上端に前記刈取部の横向き筒状フレームを対地浮上状態で支持させる刈取部取付部を形成し、前記刈取部取付部に載置した前記横向き筒状フレームの横向き軸心を前記縦向き軸心よりも後方に位置するように前記刈取部取付部を配置してある点にある。

【発明の実施の形態】
コンバインは、図1、図2に示すように、脱穀部1と前方に突出する搭乗運転部2とを搭載し、かつ、クローラ走行装置3を備えた走行本機4の前部に、刈取部5を前記搭乗運転部2の左右一側に位置する状態で昇降自在に連結し、この刈取部5を昇降操作するための昇降駆動機構を設けて構成されている。

前記刈取部5は、植立穀稈を引起し装置6で引き起こしたのち株元を切断装置7で切断して搬送装置8で前記脱穀部1のフィードチェーン1aに搬送供給するものであって、構成構造部材9の一部は伝動ケースを兼用している。

また、前記刈取部5は、横向き軸心X周りでの上下揺動により昇降するものであって、この刈取部5を走行本機4に昇降自在に取り付ける手段は、図4、図7に示すように、走行本機4の本機フレーム4Fに立設した左右の構造物10L,10Rの上端にわたる状態で構成構造部材9のうち伝動ケースを兼用する横向き筒状フレーム9Aを横向き軸心X周りに回転自在に取り付ける手段である。つまり、横向き筒状フレーム9Aが、構造物10L,10Rに上下揺動自在に支持される軸となっている。

前記昇降駆動機構は、前記本機フレーム4Fと、前記構成構造部材9のうち前方への伝動ケースを兼用する前後向き筒状フレーム9Bとの間に介在させた油圧シリンダ11への圧油供給に伴い刈取部5をその重量に抗して上昇させ、油圧シリンダ11からの排油に伴い刈取部5をその重量で下降させる機構である。

前記ピン12は、図5、図6に示すように、油圧シリンダ11のピン12による取付部11Aと前記前後向き筒状フレーム9Bに固着のブラケット13とにわたって一連に挿通することで両者を連結するものであって、ピン12に固着のストッパー12aを前記ブラケット13とそれにネジ止めした板バネ製のキャッチャー14とで弾性挟持されることで抜け止めされており、その軸心周りに揺動操作されることにより、前記キャッチャー14を弾性変形させる状態でストッパー12aをキャッチャー14とブラケット13との間から離脱させて抜け止めを解除されるようになっている。前記ピン12には、挿抜・揺動用のハンドル12Aが固着されている。

前記刈取部5を縦向き軸心P周りに揺動自在に走行本機4に支持させる手段は、図4、図7〜図11に示すように、前記構造物10L,10Rのうち前記搭乗運転部2から遠い側の構造物10Lを、本機フレーム4F上に構築した櫓状構造物15と、この櫓状構造物15及び本機フレーム4Fに縦向き軸心P周りに自転自在に支持させた縦向き軸心構成用の支軸16とから構成し、この支軸16の上端に、前記横向き筒状フレーム9Aの左右一端部から形成される取付対象部位9bを着脱自在に装着するための刈取部取付部17を、縦向き軸心Pよりも後方に位置する状態で装備する手段である。
前記支軸16を縦向き軸心周りに自転自在に支持させる手段は、本機フレーム4Fに支軸16の下端面を載置支持させて荷重を支持させ、支軸16の下端部を本機フレーム4Fに自転自在に挿通させるとともに支軸16の上端近くを櫓状構造物15の天板15Aに自転自在に挿通させて支軸16を倒れ止めする手段であって、前記支軸16には、図12にも示すように、天板15Aの下面にスライド自在に接当して、刈取部5が刈取作業姿勢にある状態での支軸16の前後倒れを防止する前後一対の倒れ止め16aがボルト止めされている。
また、前記刈取部取付部17は、図16にも示すように、支軸16と一体物の状態に形成されて前記刈取部5の相対的な後方への移動に伴い前記取付対象部位9bを受け止め支持する刈取部ホルダ18と、この刈取部ホルダ18に受け止め支持された取付対象部位9bをボルト19の締め付けに伴い刈取部ホルダ18に押し付け固定する締付具20とを備えている。前記支軸16のうち刈取部ホルダ18の前部に連なる上面部分は、後方移動する取付対象部位9bを刈取部ホルダ18にスライド案内するガイド面Gとなっている。前記締付具20は、ボルト19を緩めて外すことで刈取部ホルダ18から離脱させることができるものである。また、締付具20は、刈取部ホルダ18への取付状態でその軸心(横向き軸心X)に沿った方向の両端面を取付対象部位9bに形成の左右の段部40に接当させることにより取付対象部位9bの刈取部取付部17に対する横向き軸心Xに沿った方向の位置を規制するものである。もちろん、刈取部取付部17は、締付具20で取付対象部位9bを刈取部ホルダ18に押し付け固定した状態で取付対象部位9b、つまり、横向き筒状フレーム9Aの横向き軸心X周りでの揺動を許容するものである。
なお、走行本機4から刈取部5にわたる注油ホースや電気信号線(ハーネス)などの可撓性部材Wは、縦向き軸心P近くを通るように配置されて、刈取部5の縦向き軸心P周りでの揺動に伴う引っ張りや弛みを極力少なくするようになっている。

前記刈取部5を刈取作業姿勢に固定する手段は、図4、図8から図10、図14の(イ)(ロ)に示すように、前記構造物10L,10Rのうち搭乗運転部2に近い側の構造物10Rの上部に、前記横向き筒状フレーム9Aのうち前記縦向き軸心Pから設定距離を隔てた固定対象部位9aを刈取部5の開放姿勢への揺動及び前方への相対的移動を許容する状態で載置支持するホルダ21を一体物として形成し、このホルダ21に対する固定対象部位9aの載置・離脱を許容する開放姿勢と、前記ホルダ21の設定箇所に固定対象部位9aを位置させて押し付け固定する閉塞姿勢とに揺動開閉自在に締付具22をホルダ21に装着し、この締付具22が閉塞姿勢にある状態において、締付具22に形成の固定用孔23とホルダ21に形成の固定用孔24とにわたって一連に挿通することで締付具22を閉塞姿勢に固定する固定用ピン25を設けて構成されている。なお、搭乗運転部2側の構造物10Rは支柱状のものであって、これの上部と前記櫓状構造物15の上部とは補強フレームFで連結されている。もちろん、締付具22で固定対象部位9aをホルダ21に押し付け固定した状態では、固定対象部位9a、つまり、横向き筒状フレーム9Aの横向き軸心X周りでの揺動を許容するものである。前記締付具22は、図15に示すように、閉塞姿勢においてホルダ21に固定用ピン挿抜方向で接当してホルダ21に対して固定用ピン挿抜方向で位置規制される一対の規制部22aを備え、開閉用の操作部22bを一体に備えている。
前記固定用ピン25は、図15の(イ)(ロ)に示すように、差し込みに伴い締付具22を揺動させて両固定用孔23,24を心合わせする先細りテーパー部25aと、差込状態で両固定用孔23,24に密着嵌合する位置規制部25bと、一方の規制部22aの固定用孔23に形成の雌ネジ部26に螺合して抜け止めされる雄ネジ部25cとを形成している。また、この固定用ピン25には、挿抜・螺合用のハンドル27が装着されている。つまり、雄ネジ部25cを雌ネジ部26に螺合させることにより、固定用ピン25の全体を差し込み移動させるようになっており、先細りテーパー部25aの挿入により心合わせする形式を採用しながらも、固定用ピン25を回転操作する操作力が小さなものですむようになっている。

かつ、コンバインは、前記刈取部5を昇降範囲の上方域に位置させた状態で前記昇降駆動機構、つまり、油圧シリンダ11に代わって刈取部5の重量を支持する昇降ロック手段を備えている。
前記昇降ロック手段は、図13の(イ)(ロ)に示すように、前記刈取部5における取付対象部位9bと走行本機4の固定部材である刈取部ホルダ18とのうち昇降(揺動)方向で対向する部位a,b間に対して刈取部5をロック位置よりも上昇させた状態で挿抜自在で、挿入状態において前記ロック位置に下降(揺動)してきた取付対象部位9b側の部位aと刈取部ホルダ18側の部位bとで挟持されて刈取部5の重量を刈取部ホルダ18に支持させることで刈取部5の下降を阻止するロック部材28を設けて構成されている。前記ロック部材28は、挿入位置と抜出位置とに揺動自在に刈取部ホルダ18に装着されており、挿入位置で刈取部ホルダ18に安定載置支持されるものである。また、昇降ロック手段は、図11に示すように、ロック部材28の刈取部ホルダ18への取付軸を兼用する操作レバー29付きの遠隔操作用の操作軸30を備えている。

そして、このコンバインでは、図13の(ロ)に示すように、刈取部5を刈取作業姿勢に位置させた状態で刈取部5をロック位置よりも上方に上昇させ、図13の(イ)に示すように、この状態で昇降ロック手段のロック部材28を抜出位置から挿入位置に揺動操作したのち刈取部5を下降させて刈取部5に対する対地浮上状態での荷重支持を油圧シリンダ11から昇降ロック手段に移行し、その対地浮上状態でピン12を抜いて刈取部5と油圧シリンダ11との連結を解除する一方、固定用ピン25を抜いて締付具22を開放姿勢に揺動操作し、その状態で刈取部5を縦向き軸心P周りで開放姿勢に揺動させる。これにより、搭乗運転部2下方の原動部の側部及び走行本機4の前部を開放できるとともに、刈取部5の後部を開放して、穀稈搬送詰りの解除などの各種メンテナンスを行えるのである。

そして、図10、図11に示すように、刈取部ホルダ18に付設した固定ピン31を天板15Aに形成のロック孔32に自重で落とし込み挿入させることにより、刈取部5の縦向き軸心P周りでの揺動を規制して刈取部5を開放姿勢に固定するのである。

また、このコンバインでは、刈取部5を接地支持させた状態で両締付具20,22を開放するとともに、油圧シリンダ11の刈取部5への連結を解除し、その状態で走行本機4を相対的に後方に移動させることにより、刈取部5を走行本機4から離脱させることができるのである。つまり、このコンバインでは、刈取作業姿勢では、取付対象部位9bと固定対象部位9aとの2点で刈取部5を走行本機4に連結し、開放姿勢では、取付対象部位9bの1点で刈取部5を走行本機4に連結するようになっている。

〔1〕昇降ロック手段を次のように構成する。つまり、図17〜図19の(イ)(ロ)(ハ)(ニ)に示すように、取付対象部位9bに、前記横向き軸心Xと平行な軸心を有するロック用穴50を形成し、刈取部ホルダ18のうち刈取部5がロック位置に昇降位置したときに前記ロック用穴50に軸心方向で対向する箇所に、刈取部5がロック位置に昇降位置した状態でロック用穴50に対して挿抜自在で挿入することで取付対象部位9bの横向き軸心X周りでの揺動、つまり、刈取部5の昇降を規制するロック用ピン51を装着し、このロック用ピン51と同じ方向でロック位置R1とロック解除位置R2との間で移動操作されるとともにロック位置R1及びロック解除位置R2とに摩擦保持される押引き操作具52を設け、この押引き操作具52がロック位置R1に位置するとき前記ロック用ピン51を挿入方向に移動付勢していて刈取部5がロック位置に昇降位置することでロック用ピン51がロック用穴50に対応位置したときにロック用ピン51をロック用穴50に挿入させるとともに押引き操作具52がロック解除位置R2に位置するときロック用ピン51に対する付勢を解除する自動ロック用バネ53を設け、前記押引き操作具52がロック解除位置R2に位置するときロック位置に位置するロック用ピン51を抜出方向に移動付勢していて刈取部5が昇降操作されることでロック用ピン51のロック用穴50とのあいだの摩擦力が設定値以下になったときにロック用ピン51をロック用穴50から抜出するとともに押引き操作具52がロック位置に位置するときロック用ピン51に対する付勢を解除する自動ロック解除用バネ54を設ける。
この昇降ロック手段によるときは、図19の(ロ)に示すように、押引き操作具52をロック位置R1に操作した状態で刈取部5をロック位置まで昇降させることにより、図19の(ハ)に示すように、刈取部5がロック位置に昇降位置したときにロック用ピン51がロック用穴50に自動ロック用バネ53による付勢力で自動挿入して、刈取部5の昇降が規制される。他方、図19の(ニ)に示すように、昇降規制状態で押引き操作具52をロック解除位置に操作した状態で刈取部5を昇降させることにより、図19の(イ)に示すように、ロック用ピン51とロック用穴50とのあいだの摩擦力が設定値以下となることでロック用ピン51が自動ロック解除用バネ54による付勢力でロック用穴50から自動抜出して、刈取部5の昇降が許容される。もちろん、通常時には、図19の(イ)に示すように、押引き操作具52をロック解除位置R2に操作位置させておくことにより、自動ロック用バネ53によるロック用ピン51に対する挿入方向への移動力が付与されないことで、ロック用ピン51がロック解除位置に保持された状態にあり、刈取部5の昇降が自由に許容されるのである。

〔2〕昇降ロック手段を次のように構成する。つまり、図20の(イ)(ロ)(ハ)(ニ)に示すように、取付対象部位9bに、前記横向き軸心Xと平行な軸心を有するロック用穴50を形成し、刈取部ホルダ18のうち刈取部5がロック位置に昇降位置したときに前記ロック用穴50に軸心方向で対向する箇所に、刈取部5がロック位置に昇降位置した状態でロック用穴50に対して挿抜自在で挿入することで取付対象部位9bの横向き軸心X周りでの揺動、つまり、刈取部5の昇降を規制するロック用ピン51を装着し、このロック用ピン51と同じ方向でロック位置R1とロック解除位置R2との間で移動操作される押引き操作具52を設け、この押引き操作具52に形成の第1溝55に弾性的に係合してこの押引き操作具52のロック解除位置R2への操作移動を許容する状態で押引き操作具52をロック位置R1に保持するとともに前記押引き操作具52に形成の第2溝56に弾性的に係合してこの押引き操作具52のロック位置R1への操作移動を許容する状態で押引き操作具52をロック解除位置R2に保持するボールデテント機構57を設け、前記押引き操作具52がロック位置R1に位置するとき前記ロック用ピン51を挿入方向に移動付勢していて刈取部5がロック位置に昇降位置することでロック用ピン51がロック用穴50に対応位置したときにロック用ピン51をロック用穴50に挿入させるとともに押引き操作具52がロック解除位置R2に位置するときロック位置に位置するロック用ピン51を抜出方向に移動付勢していて刈取部5が昇降操作されることでロック用ピン51のロック用穴50とのあいだの摩擦力が設定値以下になったときにロック用ピン51をロック用穴50から抜出させる作動バネ58を設ける。
この昇降ロック手段によるときは、図20の(ロ)に示すように、押引き操作具52をロック位置R1に操作した状態で刈取部5をロック位置まで昇降させることにより、図20の(ハ)に示すように、刈取部5がロック位置に昇降位置したときにロック用ピン51がロック用穴50に作動バネ58による付勢力で自動挿入して、刈取部5の昇降が規制される。他方、図20の(ニ)に示すように、昇降規制状態で押引き操作具52をロック解除位置に操作した状態で刈取部5を昇降させることにより、図20の(イ)に示すように、ロック用ピン51とロック用穴50とのあいだの摩擦力が設定値以下となることでロック用ピン51が作動バネ58による付勢力でロック用穴50から自動抜出して、刈取部5の昇降が許容される。もちろん、通常時には、図20の(イ)に示すように、押引き操作具52をロック解除位置R2に操作位置させておくことにより、作動バネ58によるロック用ピン51に対する挿入方向への移動力が付与されないことで、ロック用ピン51がロック解除位置に保持された状態にあり、刈取部5の昇降が自由に許容されるのである。
