本発明は、洗面台・手洗い台・流し台等の、上部に水槽を有するキャビネットに関する。

【従来技術の欠点】
従来のキャビネットには以下の如き欠点があった。即ち、従来のキャビネットは、洗面・手洗い・食器洗い等の作業中（以下、洗面等の作業中という。）に急に気分が悪くなった際等に、掴まるものがなかったので、そのまま倒れ込んで頭をキャビネットで打ったりする恐れがあり、また、水槽及びその回りは水で濡れていて滑りやすいので、キャビネットを確実に掴むことが困難で、そのため頭をキャビネットで打ったりする恐れもあった。

【前記欠点を解消するための手段】
本発明は前記欠点を解消するために以下の如き手段を採用した。
請求項１の発明は、上部に水槽を有するキャビネットであって、左右方向に長い手摺本体が水槽の前方においてキャビネットとの間に所定間隙をあけるようにして手摺がキャビネットに取り付けられているキャビネットにおいて、前記手摺が、左右方向に長い手摺本体と、この手摺本体の左右端に後方に向かって突出するかたちで設けられた左右一対の取付部とを有しており、前記左右の取付部が、キャビネットの固定の前板に形成された貫通孔を通じて、更に、キャビネットの背板の上方に形成された開口又はキャビネットの背板に形成された貫通孔を通じてキャビネットの後方の、部屋の側壁に固定されているものである。

【発明の作用】
本発明は以下の如き作用をなすものである。
洗面等の作業中に急に気分が悪くなった際等に手摺に掴まることによって、頭をキャビネットで打ったりする危険を回避することが出来る。

【実施例】
以下に本発明を図面を参照しつつ実施例に基づいて説明する。
なお、この実施例において、前とは図１紙面表側を、後とは同裏側をいい、左とは図１左側を、右とは同図右側をいう。

洗面台であるキャビネット１は、キャビネット本体２と、このキャビネット本体２の上部に設けられた、水槽３を備えた天板４とを有している。

前記キャビネット本体２は、左右方向に所定間隔をあけてなる左右の側板８と、これら側板８の下部に渡された底板９と、左右の側板８の前側上部に渡された固定の前板１０（幕板１０及びその後面に設けられた補強板１０）と、左右の側板８の後部に上方に開口１２を形成するようにして渡された背板１１（図３参照）と、左右の側板８の前縁に蝶番（図示略）を介して水平揺動開閉自在に設けられた左右一対の扉１３とを有している。

前記天板４には公知の混合水栓１６が取り付けられている。

前記キャビネット１には以下に詳述するようにして金属製パイプ・合成樹脂製バー等からなる手摺１９が取り付けられている。
前記手摺１９は、僅かに前側に凸湾曲した左右方向に長い手摺本体２０と、この手摺本体２０の左右端に後方に向かって突出するかたちで設けられた左右一対の取付部２１とを有している。

前記固定の前板１０の左右部には左右一対の貫通孔２３が前後方向に貫通するかたちで形成され、これら貫通孔２３にフランジ付補強筒２４が嵌め止められている。なお、これらフランジ付補強筒２４はフランジに形成された貫通孔を通じてねじ２５（図４参照）を固定の前板１０にねじ嵌めることによって固定の前板１０に固定されている。
前記フランジ付補強筒２４の中心と中心が一致するようにして、キャビネット１の後部が密接させられた、部屋２６の側壁２７に、フランジ付補強筒２４と同様の形状をした取付具２９が、フランジに形成された貫通孔を通じてねじ２５（図４参照）を側壁２７にねじ嵌めることによって、固定されている。

前記手摺１９は、取付部２１をフランジ付補強筒２４に嵌めた後、取付部２１の後端を取付具２９に嵌め、取付具２９の筒部に半径方向に形成された所要個のねじ孔に止めねじ３０をねじ嵌め、これら止めねじ３０の先端を取付部２１に押し付けることによって固定されている。
そして、この状態において、手摺本体２０が、水槽３の前方においてキャビネット１（キャビネット本体２又は水槽３）との間に所定の間隙３１（手摺本体２０を握るために手の通過を許容する間隙）をあけるようになっている。

上記において、洗面等の作業中に急に気分が悪くなった際等には、手摺１９（手摺本体２０）に掴まることによって、頭をキャビネット１で打ったりする危険を回避することが出来る。

【変形例等】
以下に変形例等について説明を加える。
（１）背板１１をキャビネット本体２の後方全体を閉塞するものとし、この背板１１に貫通孔を形成し、この貫通孔を通じてキャビネット１の後方の、部屋２６の側壁２７に取付部２１の後端部を固定するようにしてもよい。
（２）背板１１をキャビネット本体２の後方全体を閉塞するものとし、この背板１１に取付部２１の後端部を取り付けるようにしてもよい。
（３）手摺１９の断面形状は、円形に限定されるものでなく任意であり、例えば楕円形等であってもよい。
（４）キャビネット１は、手洗い台・流し台等であってもよい。
（５）手摺１９は、タオル掛けとしても使用することが出来る。

【発明の効果】
本発明は前記した如き構成によって以下の如き効果を奏するものである。
（１）請求項１の発明によれば、洗面等の作業中に急に気分が悪くなった際等に手摺に掴まることによって、頭をキャビネットで打ったりする危険を回避することが出来る。また、手摺の左右の取付部が、キャビネットの固定の前板に形成された貫通孔、及びキャビネットの背板の上方に形成された開口又は背板に形成された貫通孔を通じてキャビネットの後方の、部屋の側壁に固定されているので、即ち、手摺の左右の取付部が各々２ヵ所で支持されているので、大きな力にも耐え得るように手摺をキャビネットに強固に取り付けることが出来る。
（２）請求項２の発明によれば、手摺の左右の取付部が、キャビネットの固定の前板に形成された貫通孔を通じてキャビネットの背板に固定されているので、即ち、手摺の左右の取付部が各々２ヵ所で支持されているので、大きな力にも耐え得るように手摺をキャビネットに強固に取り付けることが出来る。
