【発明の属する技術分野】

本発明は手持ちノコギリを使って木などを切るとき、切り込み深さを容易に規制する手段に関するものである。
【従来の技術】

従来手持ちノコギリでほぞなど切るときに、正確に途中まで切って止める、所謂止め切りをするには、予め向う側と手前に引かれたけびき線を交互に見ながら、注意深く切り進んで行かねばならないが、図1に示す如く切り過ぎて失敗することが多く、失敗すると修正できない場合が多かった。やむなく工場加工のときは専用の電動工作機が使われた。また止め切り用ノコギリとして存在する先行技術はいくつかあるが、例えば実願昭54−96724号(実開昭56−14001号)のごとく、全てノコ身と柄が一体的に固定され、これに対して胴(ストッパー)が横方向に移動するものである。
【発明が解決しようとする課題】

手持ちノコギリで容易に、正確に、且つ失敗することなく、決められた位置、即ち所定の深さで木などの表面と平行な位置まで、切り込められる手段を提供することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】

上記目的を達成するために、本発明の手持ち式胴付きノコギリにおいては、一枚または二枚のノコ板保持部材兼ストッパーを柄に固定し、前記柄と分離された片歯または両歯のノコ板をその両端付近で、上記ノコ板保持部材兼ストッパーに、固定部材により緩め可能に固定し、該固定部材を緩めると、上記ノコ板は上記ノコ板保持部材兼ストッパーの両側で前記ノコ板保持部材兼ストッパーと直行する方向の全幅に渡って移動可能であって、該ノコ板の少なくとも一方の歯は前記ノコ板兼ストッパーと平行を維持しながら任意の位置に設定可能であるようにしたものである。
また公知の直角切り治具と嵌合可能ならしめるために、前記ノコ板保持部材兼ストッパーは両端以外で、上記ノコ板との間に隙間を有するようにしたものである。

上記のように任意の位置にストッパーを設定できるので、木を切り進んで行ったとき希望のところまで切り進むとストッパーが木に当りそれ以上切り進めなくなる。

図2は本発明のノコギリによって木を切るときの全体像である。以下いくつかの実施例について図面を参照して説明すると、図3、図4に示す第一の実施例では、柄8に埋め込まれた2枚の長い鉄板でできたストッパー2でノコ板1を挟み、図示のように蝶ボルト4と、ナット5によって、ノコ板1とストッパー2は固定される。このときストッパーの当り面6と歯先7との間隔は木を切るときの切り込み深さに等しく、且つ平行になるように調整固定される。2枚の長い鉄板でできたストッパーはノコ板1の保持と、切り込み深さを調整固定するストッパーの二つの役をする。薄いノコ板で作る一種の胴付きノコギリにも応用できる。

ノコギリには縦曳き歯と、横曳き歯をノコ板の両側に付けた両歯ノコギリがあるが、本発明は両歯のこぎりにも実施できる。特に胴付きノコギリでは背金が必要なため、両歯ノコギリができなかったが、本発明により両歯の胴付きノコギリが製作可能になったので、ほぞや、組手の工作に便利である。
