Description

【0001】

[Industrial applications]
The present invention relates to an apparatus for detecting disconnection of a power supply cable connecting an electrostatic painting gun having a built-in high voltage generator and a power supply.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In electrostatic painting using an electrostatic painting gun with a built-in high voltage generator, high voltage can be stopped by turning off the power, breaking the high voltage generator, or disconnecting the power cable. However, conventionally, there was no device for informing the cause of the high voltage stop.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The problem to be solved by the present invention is that the disconnection of the power cable cannot be immediately known, and it takes time to recover.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention solves such a problem by providing a resistor provided in series between a DC power supply and an inverter, a differential amplifier for detecting and amplifying a potential difference before and after the resistor, and a differential amplifier for detecting the potential difference. A comparator that outputs an ON signal when the output of the operational amplifier is smaller than a preset set value, a power supply voltage detector that outputs an ON signal when the power supply is outputting normally, and a power supply voltage detector. An abnormal signal output device outputs an abnormal signal when both of the comparators output an ON signal.
[0005]
Function and effect of the present invention
According to the present invention, when the power cable is disconnected, the current stops and the potential difference before and after the resistor disappears, the output of the differential amplifier becomes smaller than a preset value, and the comparator outputs an ON signal. At this time, if the power supply is outputting normally, the power supply voltage detector outputs an ON signal, an abnormal signal is output from the abnormal signal output device, and the disconnection of the power cable is detected.
[0006]
When the power is turned off and the current stops, the comparator outputs an ON signal but the power supply voltage detector does not output an ON signal, so that no abnormal signal is output.
[0007]
【Example】
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0008]
FIG. 1 shows a case of DC power transmission, and 1 is a power supply circuit including a DC power supply 2, and an electrostatic coating gun 4 having a built-in inverter 14 for converting DC to AC and a high voltage generator 3 is connected to a power supply cable 6. Connected by Reference numeral 5 denotes a high voltage output terminal of the electrostatic coating gun 4.
[0009]
FIG. 2 shows a case of AC power transmission, in which an inverter 14 is included in the power supply circuit 1.
[0010]
The above is an electrostatic coating apparatus equipped with a known gun with a built-in high voltage generator. In this embodiment, the resistor 7 is interposed between the power supply 2 and the inverter 14 in series.
FIG. 3 is a block diagram of the power cable disconnection detection circuit, in which the output of the differential amplifier 8 which detects and amplifies the differential pressure of the resistor 7 is compared with the output of the setting device 9 which has been set to a predetermined value. It is connected to input to the vessel 10.
[0011]
The comparator 10 outputs an ON signal only when the output of the differential amplifier 8 is smaller than the set value of the setter 9.
[0012]
Reference numeral 11 denotes a power supply voltage detector that outputs an ON signal only when the power supply 2 is outputting. The output of the power supply voltage detector and the output of the comparator 10 are input to an AND circuit 12, and the output of the abnormality signal output device 13 Connected to operate.
[0013]
Next, the operation of the present embodiment will be described.
[0014]
When the power supply 2 operates normally and the power supply cable 6 is not disconnected, a current flows through the resistor 7, so that a differential pressure is generated before and after that, and the differential pressure is amplified by the differential amplifier 8 and compared. Input to the device 10. Since the value is larger than the set value input to the setting device 9, the output from the comparator 10 is OFF, and the output of the AND circuit 12 is OFF even if the output from the power supply voltage detector 11 is ON. Therefore, the abnormal signal output device 13 does not operate.
[0015]
When the power cable 6 is disconnected, no current flows through the resistor 7, so that the potential difference before and after the resistor 7 disappears and the output of the differential amplifier 8 becomes smaller than the set value input to the setter 9. Is output. Therefore, when the power supply 2 operates normally and the output from the power supply voltage detector 11 is ON, the output of the AND circuit 12 turns ON and the abnormal signal output unit 13 operates.
[0016]
When the power supply 2 is turned off, the output of the power supply voltage detector 11 is OFF, so that even if no current flows through the resistor 7, the abnormal signal output device 13 does not operate.
[0017]
Therefore, the disconnection of the power cable 6 can be immediately known.
