【従来の技術】
従来は、図４に示すように、車体の床側部１には、フランジ部２に沿って樹脂成形品のウェルト３が設けられており、このウェルト３にフロアカーペット４の端末部がタッカ５によって打ち付けられ固定されている。また、ウェルト３には、引掛部６が設けられており、フロアカーペット４を外方に引っ張った状態でフランジ部２に引っ掛けられてウェルト３が固定されている。さらに、ウェルト３の上方には、スカッフプレート７が設けられており、その一端部はビス８によって車体の床側部１に固定され、他端部はフロアカーペット４の端末部を上方から押さえ込んでいる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、タッカによってフロアカーペットの端末部を打ち付け固定する構成であると、打ち付け位置にばらつきが生じ、時にはフロアカーペットにしわが寄ったり、或いは、引っ張り過ぎて引掛部が車体のフランジ部から外れてしまうことがある。また、打ち付け作業をしなければならないため面倒であるという欠点もある。

さらに、ウェルトは、スカッフプレートと別体であるため、スカッフプレートによって押さえ込まれるまでは外れ易く、そのためスカッフプレートを取り付けるまで手で押さえていなければならず非常に取り付け作業が面倒であった。

本発明は、上記事情に鑑みてなされたもので、その目的は、フロアカーペットを正確かつ容易に車体の床側部に固定することができる車両用フロアカーペットの取付構造を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明の車両用フロアカーペットの取付構造は、車両用のフロアカーペットの端末部を車体の床側部に固定するためのものにおいて、車体の床底部に固定可能なスカッフプレートと、スカッフプレートに設けられ、フロアカーペットの端末部に形成された連結孔に挿入可能な連結突部と、ヒンジ部を介してスカッフプレートに一体に連結されると共に、連結突部に挿入されたフロアカーペットの端末部をスカッフプレートとによって挟む押さえ板と、押さえ板をフロアカーペットの端末部を挟んだ状態に保持する保持部とを備えていることに特徴を有する（請求項１の発明）。
また、連結突部は、車体の床側部に当接して、スカッフプレートを床側部に対して浮いた状態に支持する構成であってもよい（請求項２の発明）。

【作用】

【実施例】
以下、本発明の車両用フロアカーペットの取付構造の一実施例について、図１乃至図３を参照して説明する。
本実施例の車両用フロアカーペットの取付構造は、車両用のフロアカーペットを車体の床側部、即ち乗降口の下端部に固定するためのものであり、図３に示すように、乗降口１１の下端部に沿って延びるプラスチック製のスカッフプレート１２を備えて構成される。なお、車体の床側部１３には、図１に示すように、水抜き用の溝１４が形成されており、この溝１４の外側の側壁は、床側部１３に対して上方に突出してフランジ部１５を形成している。また、溝１４には、車両の電装品であるワイヤハーネス１６が配設されている。

スカッフプレート１２は、図１に示すように、断面が段付き形状となっており、その上段部１２ａ右端部には、下面に連結棒１７が立設されている。この連結棒１７は、図２に示すように、スカッフプレート１２の縦長方向に所定間隔で複数個並設されると共に、各連結棒１７の下端部は、溝１４の底部に当接し、これによりスカッフプレート１２の上段部１２ａが溝１４の底部に対して一定の高さに支持される構成となっている。

なお、図示しないが、図１とは反対側の床側部及びフロアカーペットの端末部においても、上記同様の構造が設けられている。

次に、本実施例の作用について述べる。フロアカーペット２１の端末部を車体に固定するには、まず、端末部に形成された複数の連結孔２１ａに、それぞれ対応する連結棒１７を挿入する。そして、押さえ板１９を右上方向に回動すれば、押さえ板１９の回動に伴って各挿入溝１９ａがそれぞれ連結棒１７に挿入され、押さえ板１９がほぼ水平になると、連結棒１７は係合孔１９ｂに挿入されると共に、係合孔１９ｂが係止突部１７ａの下側に当接する。さらに、押さえ板１９を右上方向に回動すれば、係合孔１９ｂは係止突部１７ａを圧縮しながら通り抜けて、係止突部１７ａの上側に移動し、押さえ板１９がフロアカーペット２１の端末部をスカッフプレート１２の上段部１２ａとの間に挟んで保持される。
