前述の取付構造であれば外壁材の室外面と化粧カバーとの間がシーリング材でシールされると共に、上下に隣接した外壁材の室外寄り対向面間がシーリング材でシールされるから、その外壁材の端部連結部と化粧カバーとの部分から雨水等が強風雨によって壁下地側に浸入することを防止できる。
