本発明は、オゾン発生装置に用いられる放電管の接続装置および接続方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
オゾン発生装置には、例えば、筒状の誘電体の内周面に高圧電極を設けて成る放電管を複数個並設し、前記各放電管の高圧電極に高電圧を印加してオゾンを発生させる、いわゆる無声放電式の大容量のオゾン発生装置が用いられる。

この無声放電式のオゾン発生装置には、図3のような放電管が多数使用される。図3において、1は一端が閉塞されたガラス管(誘電体管)から成る放電管であり、その内周にはAlやSUSなどの金属をコーティングすることにより高圧電極2が形成されている。放電管1の内周には、高圧電極2に接触される金属ブラシ3およびヒューズ4が配設され、ヒューズ4の先端にはおねじ部5が刻設されている。

図3のように構成された放電管は、その高圧電極を高圧碍子(図示省略)に接続しなければならない。この場合図4に示すように、放電管1のおねじ部5において金属板6をネジ7により取り付けて放電管1どうしを接続する。また放電管1と高圧碍子(図示省略)も図4と同様の方法により接続する。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
大容量のオゾン発生装置には数十本から百数十本の放電管が使用される。そのすべての放電管が電気的に接続されるためには、1本の放電管から最低2つ以上の金属板6が出ていなければならず、その金属板の数も放電管の本数以上必要であり、接続作業が困難であった。またすべての放電管が電気的に接続されているかどうかの確認も、本数が増えるにつれ不確かなものとなり、接続されていない放電管が存在する可能性が高くなる。

本発明は上記の点に鑑みてなされたものでその目的は、簡単な接続作業により多数の放電管を確実に接続することができるオゾン発生装置の放電管接続装置および放電管接続方法を提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、
(1)筒状の誘電体の内周面に高圧電極を設けて成る放電管を複数個並設し、前記各放電管の高圧電極に高電圧を印加してオゾンを発生させるオゾン発生装置において、前記複数の放電管の各内周に配設され、一端が金属ブラシを介して前記高圧電極に接続されるヒューズの、他端部に設けられためねじ部と、一端が前記ヒューズの他端部に固着されるとともに、他端にネジ止め用の穴部が形成された金属板とを備え、前記放電管の金属板の穴部と、該放電管に隣接する放電管の金属板のめねじ部とをネジ止めすることにより、複数の放電管を接続することを特徴とし、
(2)筒状の誘電体の内周面に高圧電極を設けて成る放電管を複数個有し、前記各放電管の高圧電極に高電圧を印加してオゾンを発生させるオゾン発生装置において、前記複数の放電管の各内周に配設され、一端が前記高圧電極に接触される金属ブラシの他端にヒューズの一端を接続し、該ヒューズの他端部に、穴部が一端に設けられて成る金属板の他端を固着するとともに、めねじ部を刻設し、前記1つの放電管を中心とし、その外周に複数の同心円を形成するように複数の放電管を配設し、放電管の金属板の穴部と、該放電管に同一円上で隣接する放電管の金属板のめねじ部とをネジ止めし、前記中心となる放電管のヒューズの他端部と、複数の同心円上の各1つの放電管のヒューズの他端部と、高圧碍子とを電気的に接続することを特徴としている。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の放電管接続装置は図1のように構成される。図1は放電管11内に挿入される部分のみを図示している。図1において、放電管の内周部に挿入するヒューズ14の先端部には予め金属板16の一端が溶接により固着されている。さらに金属板16の溶接部分およびヒューズ14の先端内部には、めねじ17が刻設されている。金属板16の他端には長穴18が設けられている。このめねじ17と長穴18の間の距離は、隣接する放電管どうしの中心間距離に等しく形成されている。

次に、図1のように構成された放電管の接続方法を図2とともに説明する。まず、1つの放電管11aを中心とし、その外周に複数の同心円を形成するように複数の放電管11b〜11nを配設し、放電管の金属板16の長穴18と、該放電管に同一円上で隣接する放電管のめねじ17とをネジ止めして接続していく。次に前記中心となる放電管11aのヒューズの他端部と、複数の放電管の外周部に設けられた高圧碍子21との間を、総ての同心円を橋絡接続するように、従来と同様の金属板6によって接続する。尚この中心となる放電管11aと総ての同心円と高圧碍子21とを接続する方法は、金属板6に限らず導電線等によって接続しても良い。

このような接続方法により、多数の放電管を容易に接続することができる。金属板16の一端は予めヒューズ14に固着されているので、長穴とめねじをネジ止めするだけの簡単な作業により放電管の接続を確実に行うことができる。

また放電管が総て同心円上にない場合、すなわち図2(b)のように外周に配設された放電管が同心円を形成するに至らない設置個数である場合は、例えば図示x部であれば金属板16xの長穴18と、隣接する同心円上の放電管のめねじ17とをネジ止めするものである。

以上のように本発明の放電管接続装置および放電管接続方法によれば、次のような優れた効果が得られる。
