【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、例えば鉋屑やプレーナ屑や除草された雑草及び伐採や剪定された切り屑などを吸引して粉砕する粉砕装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
鉋屑やプレーナ屑や除草された雑草及び伐採や剪定された切り屑、あるいは紙等の裁断屑などの被粉砕物は産業廃棄物として焼却するようにしていたが、焼却に代えて粉砕して圧縮したり、合成樹脂で固めたりして再利用するようにしている。
此処でこれらの被粉砕物を粉砕するのに使用される粉砕装置は、吸引口と吐出口とを形成したケーシング内に先端に切刃を取り付けた回転羽根をモータ等の回転駆動装置により回転駆動させ、吸引口から吸引された鉋屑やプレーナ屑を切刃で粉砕して吐出口から吐出するようにしたものが知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、上記従来の粉砕装置では、回転羽根の回転により吸引口からケーシング内に吸引された被粉砕物の一部が回転羽根の側縁とケーシングの内面部分との間にかみ込むことがある。
こうして被粉砕物の一部が回転羽根とケーシングとの間にかみ込むと、回転が低下して、処理能力が低下してしまうだけでなく、大きな負荷になることから、消費電力が多くなり、ランニングコストも高くなってしまうという問題があった。

更に、回転羽根とケーシングとの間に被粉砕物のかみ込みにより負荷が増加するとモータが発熱したり、また、被粉砕物が摩擦により発火したりする危険もあった。
本発明は上記問題点に鑑みて提案されたものであって、被粉砕物の一部が回転羽根の側縁とケーシングの内面部分との間にかみ込むのを防止することにより、消費電力が少なく、発火の危険性もない処理能力の高い粉砕装置を提供できるようにすることを目的とするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために本発明に係る粉砕装置は、回転駆動装置により回転駆動される回転羽根と、該回転羽根を回転可能に収納するケーシングとを備え、回転羽根は回転軸から放射状に配設された切刃若しくは切刃取付用プレートの一側縁部分を回転軸と同行回動する回転板に固定し、ケーシングは回転羽根の回転軸近傍部分を吸引口として開口させ、回転羽根の外周部分に吐出口を設けると共に、切刃若しくは切刃取付用プレート近傍部と、これに対面するケーシング内面部分との間に粉砕用切刃を設けたことを特徴とするものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下本発明に係る粉砕装置の実施の形態を図面に基づいて説明する。
図1は粉砕装置の全体斜視図であって、図中符号1は粉砕装置を全体的に示す。
この粉砕装置1は、ベースフレーム2と、ベースフレーム2に装着された粉砕部3及び駆動部4とからなる。
駆動部4は、ベースフレーム2の後方上部に固定されたモータ5と、モータ5の出力軸(図示せず)に固定された駆動プーリ6と、後述する粉砕部3の回転軸7に取り付けられた受動プーリ8と、両プーリ6・8に亙って巻回されたベルト9とからなる回転駆動装置10で構成されている。

粉砕部3は、ベースフレーム2の前方に取り付けられており、図1乃至図3に示すように上記駆動装置10により回転駆動される回転羽根11と、この回転羽根11を回転可能に収納するケーシング12とからなる。
回転羽根11は軸受け13を介してベースフレーム2に回転軸7を回転自在に枢支させ、回転軸7の他端(前端)寄り部に円形の回転板14を取付け、回転板14の前面に複数の切刃取付用プレート15・15・・・を回転板14の前方に突出する回転軸7部分から放射状に取り付けるとともに、切刃取付用プレート15・15・・・の先端部分に粉砕用の板状の切刃15aを固着してある。

回転羽根11を回転可能に収納するケーシング12は、回転羽根11の外周を覆う側壁部分16と、略円板状に形成され前壁17および後壁18とを備え、側壁部分16には回転羽根11の回転方向下手側の1部にダクト状の吐出口19が接線方向に形成されており、回転羽根11の切刃15aの先端とケーシング12の側壁部分16との間には編目状のスクリーン25を介在させてある。
また、前壁17にはその中央部分に、被処理物を吸引する吸引口20が開口させてあり、前壁17の内面には回転羽根11と協働して作用する粉砕用切刃21が上下2箇所に設けてある。
上記粉砕用切刃21は、矩形の板状ブロックで形成されビス等の固定具22で前壁17の内面に固定し、粉砕用切刃21側面23は粉砕用切刃21の側縁部分24及び板状の切刃15aの側縁部分に近接させてある。

上記のように形成された粉砕装置1の作用を鉋屑やプレーナ屑を吸引して処理する場合を例に説明する。
駆動部4のモータ5が起動され、この回転が駆動プーリ6、ベルト9、受動プーリ8を介して回転軸7に伝えられると、回転駆動されると、回転羽根11が回転する。
回転羽根11が回転すると吸引口20から鉋屑やプレーナ屑がケーシング12内に吸引され、その大部分は切刃取付用プレート15・15・・・の先端部分に取り付けられた粉砕用の板状の切刃15aとスクリーン25との間で粉砕され、
スクリーン25の編目を通過したものが回転羽根11の回転で起風された風により吐出口19から吐出される。

そして、吸引された鉋屑やプレーナ屑の一部が回転羽根11とケーシング12との間にかみ込もうとするが、これを回転羽根11の側縁24及び板状の切刃15aの側縁部分と粉砕用切刃21で切られて粉砕された後、スクリーン25の編目を通過したものが回転羽根11で起風された風にのり、吐出口19から放出される。これにより鉋屑やプレーナ屑の当該部分へのかみ込みがなくなるのである。

尚、上記実施の形態では、ベースフレーム2に固定されたモータ5と、モータ5の出力軸に固定した駆動プーリ6と、回転軸7に取り付けられた受動プーリ8及び両プーリ6・8に亙って巻回されたベルト9とで回転駆動装置10を構成するようにしてあるが、こうしたものに限られず、モータ5はベースフレーム2から分離したり、モータ5をエンジンにすることもできる。
加えて、ベルト9はチェーンにしたり、ギア伝導にすることもできるし、直結することもできる。

また、上記実施の形態では前壁17の内面に回転羽根11と協働して作用する粉砕用切刃21を上下2箇所に設けるようにしてあるが、1箇所もしくは3箇所以上にすることができるし、粉砕用切刃21の形状は矩形の板状ブロックに限られないことは言うまでもないことである。
更に上記実施の形態では鉋屑やプレーナ屑を吸引して処理する場合を例に説明してあるが、こうしたものに限られず、例えば除草された雑草及び伐採や剪定された切り屑、あるいは紙等の裁断屑など、被粉砕物の粉砕処理にも使用することができるのは言うまでもないことである。

【発明の効果】
以上に説明したように、本発明に係る粉砕装置は、切刃若しくは切刃取付用プレート近傍部と、これに対面するケーシング内面部分との間に粉砕用切刃を設けることにより、回転羽根の回転により吸引口からケーシング内に吸引された被粉砕物の一部が回転羽根の側縁とケーシングの内面部分との間にかみ込もうとしたときに、粉砕用切刃がこれを粉砕して吐出口から吐出されかみ込みが、防止される。
これにより、従来のような回転羽根とケーシングとの間に被粉砕物がかみ込むことにより、回転が低下して、処理能力が低下や、負荷が増大することもなく、消費電力を少なくしてランニングコストを低減する事ができると言う利点がある。

更に、回転羽根とケーシングとの間に被粉砕物のかみ込みをなくせることにより、従来のように負荷の増加によるモータの発熱や、かみ込んだ被粉砕物の摩擦による発火等の危険も防止することができると言う利点もある。
