【従来の技術】
従来、この種の家具転倒防止具としては、例えば、図8,図9,図10に示すものがある。
この従来の家具転倒防止具aは、家具の天板に当接して押さえる家具押さえ用下部bと、天井面に当接させる天井当接用上部cと、前記家具押さえ用下部bと天井当接用上部cとの間に配され、天井当接用上部cの高さを調整可能で径大な外側パイプdと、この外側パイプd内に上下移動可能に配入された径小且つ軟質な内側パイプeと、外側パイプdに装設され、内側パイプeを外側パイプdに対して上下移動して天井当接用上部cの高さを調整したときに、その先端部を内側パイプeの周壁の適宜位置に強制的に突き破って螺入することによって内側パイプeと外側パイプdとを固定状態とする蝶ネジfと、前記家具押さえ用下部bと内側パイプeの下部との間に配されたネジ式の高さ微調整機構gとが設けられたものである。
また、他の高さ調整可能な構造として、内側パイプに高さ方向に所定のピッチで穴を開設し、高さを調整した後に、外側パイプから内側パイプの対応する位置の穴にピンを差し込んでその高さで固定するようにしたものがある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところが、前者の家具転倒防止具aにおいては、家具押さえ用下部bを直接家具の天板に当接するようにしていたので、地震時の衝撃によって、家具の天板が家具押さえ用下部bで突き破られることがあり、家具に損傷を与えるという問題があった。
更に、内側パイプeを外側パイプdに対して上下移動して天井当接用上部cの高さを調整したときに、蝶ネジfの先端部を内側パイプeの周壁の適宜位置に強制的に突き破って螺入することによって内側パイプeと外側パイプdとを固定状態とする構造であるために、複数回の高さ調整によって、内側パイプeの周壁に複数箇所の穴が穿設されることとなり、軟質の内側パイプeが強度的に弱くなるという問題があった。

また、内側パイプeを蝶ネジfの先端部で突き破るときに、蝶ネジfをねじ込むための強力な力を必要とし、しかもこの作業を指先で行わなくてはならないために、この作業が行い難いという問題があった。
しかも、内側パイプeを蝶ネジfの先端部で突き破って固定する構造であるために、複数回内側パイプeを蝶ネジfの先端部で突き破って固定すると、このネジがきかなくなり、使用不可能なものとなるという問題があった。
更に、高さを調節した後に、蝶ネジfをねじ込んで固定してしまうので、地震の時の縦揺れにより、外れてしまう場合があるという問題があった。

本発明は、上記従来の問題に鑑みてなされたものであって、家具に損傷を与えることがなく、取付けが簡単で、高さ調整が用意にでき、特に高さの微微調整を簡単に行うことができ、家具を頑丈に保持することができて地震時などの振動、特に縦揺れに対して家具の転倒を確実に防止することができる家具転倒防止具を提供することを目的としている。

本発明は、上記目的を達成するためになされたものであって、請求項1の家具転倒防止具は、家具の天板上に配置される家具保護用のプレートと、このプレートの上面に当接して押さえる家具押さえ用下部と、天井面に当接させる天井当接用上部と、前記家具押さえ用下部と天井当接用上部との間に配され、上下伸縮可能で任意位置で固定可能な伸縮部とを備え、前記伸縮部は、底面に開口部が形成された外側パイプと、前記開口部を介して外側内部に進退自在に挿通される内側パイプとを有し、外側パイプの下端部にはバネ受けキャップが設けられ、前記内側パイプの外周には、前記バネ受けキャップに当接する巻きバネが巻回され、この巻きバネの上端には内側パイプの径よりも径大な停止リングが配され、前記家具押さえ用下部には、その下面に粘着剤が塗布され、前記粘着剤によって家具押さえ用下部が前記プレートに固着される構造とし、前記家具押さえ用下部と前記内側パイプとの間、前記天井当接用上部と前記外側パイプとの間の少なくともいずれか一方に、振動追従バネが配されていることを特徴とするものである。
請求項2の家具転倒防止具は、前記天井当接用上部の上端には、上端面に複数の環状溝が形成された軟質の滑り止め用キャップが嵌着されていることを特徴とするものである。
請求項3の家具転倒防止具は、前記外側パイプの周壁の対抗する箇所には、係止用スリットと操作用スリットが形成されており、前記停止リングには舌片と突片とが形成され、前記舌片が前記外側パイプの周壁の操作用スリットから外方に突出され、前記突片が外側パイプの係止用スリットに係入され、前記舌片が突片を支点として操作用スリット内を上下に移動自在とされていることを特徴とするものである。

【作用】
請求項1の家具転倒防止具によれば、家具の天板の上面に家具保護用のプレートを配置し、伸縮部の上下長さを調整してから家具押さえ用下部をプレートの上面に載置し、天井当接用上部を天井面に当接する。家具の天板と家具押さえ用下部との間に配されるプレートによって家具を保護することができて、家具の天板に損傷を与えることがない。また、取付けが簡単で、高さ調整が用意にでき、地震発生時に、家具を頑丈に保持でき、家具の転倒を防ぐことができる。
更に、家具押さえ用下部の下面に塗布された粘着剤によって、この家具押さえ用下部が家具保護用のプレートに固着されるので、位置ずれすることがない。特に、地震発生時の横揺れに対しても、位置ずれすることがなく、家具を頑丈に保持することができる。

請求項2の家具転倒防止具によれば、天井当接用上部の上端に嵌着され、上端面に複数の環状溝が形成された軟質の滑り止め用キャップが天井面に当接するので、天井面への接触面積を大きくすることができ、地震発生時に家具転倒防止具が天井面に対して滑って倒れてしまうことがなく、家具を確実に保持することができ、家具の転倒をより一層確実に防ぐことができる。
請求項3の家具転倒防止具によれば、伸縮部の上下長さ即ち高さを調節するには、高さを高くするときは、内側パイプに対して外側パイプを上方向に引き延ばすようにすると、外側パイプに係止された停止リングが内側パイプの外周面を摺動して上側に移動し、内側パイプに対して外側パイプが上方向に移動して高さを高くすることができる。一方、高さを低くするときには、停止リングの舌片を指で巻きバネの付勢力に抗して操作用スリット内で下側へ押し下げて、この停止リングに対して内側パイプをフリーな状態とし、この状態で、外側パイプを内側パイプに対して下方向に移動してその高さを低くし、この高さ調整が済んだ後に、停止リングの舌片から指を離すと、この停止リングが巻きバネの付勢力によって、その突片を支点として停止リングの舌片側が上向きに移動し、停止リングのリング穴の内端面が内側パイプの外周面に強固に接して、停止リングが内側パイプに固定されるので、外側パイプも内側パイプに対して高さ調整位置で強固に固定される。

以下、本発明に係る家具転倒防止具の実施例について、図面を参照しつつ説明する。

プレート2は、図1,図2に示すように、家具Kの天板KTの角部上面に当接させる平面視略四辺形の平板部2aと、この平板部2aの近接する2辺から下向きに屈曲され、家具Kの背板と側板の外面に当接させる垂下短片2b,2cとで形成され、家具Kの角端部に位置される角部は所定寸法切り落とされた形状とされ、この角部の対角線状の他方の角部は円弧形状に形成されている。
