本発明は硬度の異なった複数のシートを重層して形成される複合シート及び該シートをもって形成される書類,写真等を閉じて整理するバインダーに関する。尚、本明細書においてシートとは、一般的にシートと呼ばれている厚さのものに限らずフィルムと呼ばれている厚さのものをも含めた概念であり、またバインダーとは、ファイル,ルーズリーフ等を含めた概念であり何等限定されるものではない。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の複合シートには、例えば硬質塩化ビニル層の内外両表面に軟質塩化ビニル層を貼合せてなるものがあり、上記複合シートを利用してバインダー,ファイル,筆入れあるいはカッターマット等の様々な文具類やその他所望商品(収納用,包装用ケース等)を形成している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、従来の複合シートにて形成されたバインダー等では、例えば書籍等と重ねておくと書籍の外カバーの印字等がバインダー本体外表面に付着したり、また内表面にあっては綴じてあるメモ等の文字,図柄等が上記バインダー本体内表面に接触して付着しやすく表面汚染が顕著なものであった。

本発明は、従来技術の有するこのような問題点に鑑みなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、硬質シートと、表面汚染防止及びインク塗膜密着性に優れた軟質シートとで構成した複合シートと、上記複合シートにより形成され高周波による熱加工も可能なバインダーを提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために本発明がなした技術的手段は、

以下、本発明の一実施例を説明する。

本発明複合シートaは、本体層1と、該本体層1の内外両表面1a,1bに重着される表面層2とで構成し(請求項1)、そして上記複合シートaを持って従来周知形状のバインダーA(請求項2)を形成する。

尚、本発明の複合シートaを使用すれば、バインダーAに限らず様々な文具類、例えばファイル,筆入れあるいはカッターマット等やその他の所望商品、例えば収納用ケース,包装用ケース,書籍カバーあるいはVTR 用ケース等において、上記した有用な効果を奏するものが提供でき、またその提供できる商品は種々あり何等限定されない。

上記複合シートaを構成する本体層1は、所望厚みのシート状に連続して押出し供給されるポリプロピレンを、冷却固化して所望厚さの硬質シート状に形成する。

一方の表面層2は、

を共重合してなるエチレン−メチルメタクリレート共重合体にて上記本体層1同様にシート状に形成された表面汚染防止及びインク塗膜密着性に優れた軟質シートである。

また、上記本体層1及び表面層2は夫々その厚さ,形状等任意であり、また透明,半透明,不透明のいずれであってもよい。

従って、具体的にはエチレンメチルメタクリレートで従来周知の押出し加工にて所望な厚みの軟質シート状に表面層2を形成し、そして、ポリプロピレンで所望厚みの硬質シート状に形成した本体層1の外表面1bに、上記表面層2を重着して複合シートaを形成し、そして上記複合シートaにて所望形状のバインダーAを形成した(図1参照)。上記バインダーAは、ヒートシール,高周波溶着等によりすじ押し可能であり、高周波溶着におけるすじ押し条件の一例を示すと、200v,2 〜4 A ,15〜25sec,2mm 幅バーである。

また、上記本体層1及び表面層2は夫々押出し加工にて形成したもので説明したが、カレンダー加工にて形成することも可能であり、例えば上記表面層2をカレンダー成形する場合、上記した樹脂にアクリル系加工助剤,有機酸系金属塩,有機脂肪酸単独またはこれらの2種以上の混合物等を添加するのが好ましい。
上記アクリル系加工助剤,有機酸系金属塩,有機脂肪酸単独またはこれら2種以上の混合物の添加量は、樹脂 100重量部に対して0.005 〜10重量部,好ましくは0.01〜3重量部である。
尚、上記樹脂をカレンダー加工にて形成する場合の適性温度範囲は100 〜180 ℃、好ましくは120 〜170 ℃である。

そして、上記表面層2上に所望なインキを展色したが、上記表面層2によってインキののり(塗膜密着性)が良かった。また、任意ではあるが予め表面層2上にコロナ放電処理を別途施してぬれ表面張力を調整してもよい。
さらに、上記バインダーAを所望な書籍(図示省略)等と重ねて所定期間置いたが、その書籍の外カバーの印字はバインダーAの表紙表面(外側面)には付着しなかった。また、上記構成とした表面層2によって表面滑り止め効果が付与されて不意の落下防止が図れると共に、バインダーAの表紙外表面にはソフト感が付与され風合等もよい。

上記実施例は、バインダーAの外表面の表面汚染防止及び滑り防止を図り、表紙内表面に向けては、該バインダーAの表紙内表面へのメモ等の文字,図柄等の付着による表紙内表面の表面汚染防止を図り、図2の如く、バインダーAの表紙内外両表面に表面層2が位置するように本体層1の表紙内外両表面1a,1bに表面層2,2を設けて、表紙内外両表面の汚染防止及び表面滑り防止を図るものである。

本発明は、上記したように、硬質ポリプロピレンからなるシート本体層の内外両表面に、

を共重合してなるエチレン−メチルメタクリレート共重合体シートからなる表面層を設けたことを特徴とする複合シートからなる表面層を設けたものであるから、上記ポリプロピレン層によって保形性維持すると共に、内外両表面層であるエチレン−メチルメタクリレート共重合体層によってソフト感を付与しながら表面汚染防止に優れたものとなり、さらに印刷性も優れ高周波によるパターン付けも可能であり商品価値が向上する。

即ち、上記複合シートにてバインダーを成型し、該バインダーが内外両表面にエチレン−メチルメタクリレート共重合体層を位置せしめているので、その外表面の表面層により、表面滑り防止効果が得られ、また他の書籍等と重ねておいても書籍の外カバーの印字等はバインダーの外表面に付着しないため表面汚染防止が有効に図れる。そして内表面にもエチレン−メチルメタクリレート共重合体を位置せしめてあるので、綴じてあるメモ等の文字,図柄等が本体内表面に長く接触していても付着しないため、表面汚染防止が図れる。また、上記構成としたエチレン−メチルメタクリレート共重合体層により表面層を構成することにより塗膜密着性も向上する。

また、本発明は上記構成であるため高周波溶着が可能となり、例えば表面の文字,模様付け等や、あるいは折れ線等を付ける際のすじ押し等にあっても高周波溶着でき大変有用である。
