Claims (6)

装置本体とこれに開閉自在に片持ちピン支持される開閉カバーとの双方の所定位置に互に係合する歯車およびローラ等の動力伝達機構を設ける開閉式動力伝達装置であって、前記開閉カバーの支持点は、前記歯車の噛合時における共通法線方向で、かつ前記開閉カバー側の前記歯車の中心点に作用する前記共通法線方向の圧力方向線を挟んで噛合点と逆側に配置され、開閉カバーは閉時において装置本体側に押圧される方向に付勢されることを特徴とする画像形成装置における開閉式動力伝達装置。An opening / closing power transmission device provided with a power transmission mechanism such as a gear and a roller engaged with each other at predetermined positions of both an apparatus body and an opening / closing cover supported by a cantilever pin so as to be openable and closable.
