【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は複数のバッテリを詰めてバッテリパッケージとするバッテリケースに係わり、特に、リサイクルのための分解が容易なバッテリケースに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来のバッテリケースはケース本体にケース蓋体が溶着された構造であり、分解を容易にするための手段が取られていないため、リサイクルのためにバッテリを取出すことが面倒であった。すなわち、バッテリケースを刃物で切るか、粉砕することになるが、刃物で切る場合はバッテリがショートすることがあり、作業が危険であり、また、時間もかかっていた。

バッテリパッケージをバッテリケースごと粉砕する場合は分別作業に時間を要していた。また、粉砕時にセル電池も変形して内部ショートする可能性があり、爆発する危険性もあった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
この発明は上記した点に鑑みてなされたものであって、その目的とするところは、分別のためにバッテリパッケージを容易に分解できるバッテリケースを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明のバッテリケースは、バッテリに配線された端子を穴から露出させるバッテリケースを構成する板状部材に細長形状の穴と、前記穴の両端から延びる溝を形成したものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
この発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。図1(a)はこの発明の実施例であるバッテリケースを示す斜視図、図1(b)は同バッテリケースを示す断面図である。図に示すケース本体1は長方形の容器形状をしており、バッテリ4、4…を収容する。蓋体2は長方形の板形状をしており端子3、3を露出させる穴が設けられている。

バッテリ4、4…に配線された端子3、3を蓋体2の穴から露出するようにしてケース蓋体2がケース本体1に嵌められ縁1aの部分で溶着される。蓋体2にはコ字形状穴2aとそれに連なる溝2bが設けられている。

図2により上記のバッテリパッケーシの分解方法を説明する。先ず、図2(a)に示すようにドライバをコ字形状穴2aに差込んでコ字形状穴2aに囲まれた部分を押上げる。次に、コ字形状穴2aに囲まれた部分を引張って図2(b)に示すように溝2bを引き裂くことにより蓋体2の一部を開放する。次に、図2(c)に示すように蓋体2の他の部分を開放する。このように蓋体2が大きく開かれるのでバッテリ4、4…を容易に取出すことができる。

図3にこの発明の他の実施例を示す。この例ではケース蓋体2に円弧状溝2cが設けられその両端に連なる溝2bが設けられている。他の構成は図1に示したものと同様である。このようにケース蓋体2の溝2bを裂くことにより内部のバッテリを取出すことができれば、細長形状の穴や溝は任意の形状とすることができる。

実施例は以上のように構成されているが発明はこれに限られず、例えば、溝を蓋体の内側でなく外側に設けてもよい。また、溝の形状もV形でなく、凹状であればどのような形状にしてもよい。

この発明のバッテリケースによれば、バッテリパッケージからバッテリを容易に取り出すことができ、リサイクルを行う業者を決める点で有利となる。
