本発明は、ホット,コールド商品の自動販売機,ショーケースなどの断熱筐体を構成する断熱壁の芯材となる断熱材の製作方法に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
頭記した断熱筐体の従来における構造では、内外二重壁の間にガラスウールなを充填した構成が一般的であったが、最近では例えばポリウレタンの発泡プラスチック板を芯材としてその内外に壁板を配したサンドイッチ構造の断熱壁を組合わせて筐体を構成するようにしている。

ところで、自動販売機のキャビネットを例に挙げると、キャビネットの外箱は平坦な断熱壁で構成されているが、特に庫内底部に配した断熱壁にはドレン排水穴,およびドレンを穴に導く凹所、冷凍機の冷媒配管用溝などが形成されていることから、この断熱壁の芯材となる断熱材は板面に凹所,穴部,切欠部が形成された複雑な形状となる。そこで、このような形状の複雑な断熱材を製作するには、断熱材の形状に対応する発泡成形型を用意し、ここにポリウレタンなどの発泡樹脂液を注入して発泡成形する製作方法が一般的に採用されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
ところで、前記した発泡成形法で断熱材を成形する従来の製作法では、自動販売機などの機種ごとにサイズ,形状の異なる多種多様な発泡型が必要となるほか、発泡成形作業に時間が掛かるために生産性も低く、かつ発泡型の型代も加わることからコスト高になる。

本発明は上記の点にかんがみなされたものであり、その目的は前記課題を解決し、コスト高になる発泡成形法を採用せずに、複雑な形状の断熱材を安価,かつ生産性よく製作できるようにした断熱筐体用断熱材の製作方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために、本発明の製作方法によれば、断熱筐体を構成する断熱壁の芯材となる板状断熱材の製作方法であり、断熱材の板面に凹部,穴部,切欠部などが形成されてなるものにおいて、断熱材を発泡プラスチックのスラブ材を素材とする複数枚の発泡プラスチック板を重ね合わせて製作するものとし、各層の発泡プラスチック板ごとに、スラブ材に前記の凹部,穴部,切欠部に対応した部分を加工した後に、これらを貼り合わせて断熱材を製作するものとする。

上記の製作方法によれば、コスト高の要因となる発泡型が必要なく、市場から入手した発泡プラスチックのスラブ材を素材に、複数枚の発泡プラスチック板を重ね合わせて製作するものとし、各層の発泡プラスチック板ごとに、スラブ材に前記の凹部,穴部,切欠部に対応した部分を加工した後に、これらを貼り合わせるだけで、複雑な形状の断熱材を生産性よく安価に製作することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
まず、板面に凹部,穴部を形成した断熱材を例に、本発明による断熱材の製作方法の原理を図1により説明する。まず、断熱材の素材として(a)図に示す発泡プラスチック(例えばポリウレタンフォーム)のスラブ材1を用意する。なお、1aはスラブ材1の表裏両面に被着した保護用のクラフト紙である。次に(b)図で示すように、切断刃(トムソン刃)2を用いてスラブ材1の板面に凹部,穴部の輪郭に沿って所定の深さの切込み1bを入れる。次いで(c)図のようにプレス型4により、前記工程で切り込んだ部分を圧縮,打ち抜きしてスラブ材1の板面に凹部1c,穴部1dを形成する。

〔実施例1〕
図2は本発明の請求項1に対応する製作方法の実施例を示すものであり、この実施例においては、図2(c)で示すように断熱材6を2枚の発泡プラスチック板6Iと6IIを上下に重ね合わせた2層構造として製作するものとする。そして、厚さが断熱材6の半分である発泡プラスチックのスラブ材を素材に、図2(a)に示す上層の発泡プラスチック板6I、および(b)に示す下層の発泡プラスチック板6IIを別々なプレス工程で製作する。なお、上層の発泡プラスチック板6Iには断熱材6の凹部6aに相応する部分を開口部6dとしてプレス型を使用して打抜き加工し、下層の発泡プラスチック板6IIには穴部6b,切欠部6cを打抜き加工しておく。次に、上層の発泡プラスチック板6Iと下層の発泡プラスチック板6IIとを図2(c)のように上下に重ね合わせ、その周縁にまたがって接着テープ7を貼りつけるか、あるいは重ね合わせ面に接着剤を塗布して一体化した2層構造の断熱材6を完成する。
