【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は飲料用水処理装置、より詳細には、例えば、水道に直結されて還元槽を介して水を処理する装置で、特に、再生される次亜塩素酸を処理する機能を備えた飲料用水処理装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
我が国における水道水の消毒は塩素によって行われるが、塩素は水に溶けると、水と反応して次亜塩素酸と塩酸になり、次亜塩素酸の一部は、次亜塩素酸イオン(ClO−)と水素イオン(H+)とに解離する。

この水道水に含まれる次亜塩素酸を除去するために、例えば、水道水を活性炭素繊維やミネラル原石等から成る浄水器(フィルター)に通すことが行われている。

図3に示すものは、その一例として、還元水生成装置の構成を示すもので、それは、容体11内に、ミネラル原石13を活性炭素繊維14でくるんだ浄化槽(フィルター)12と、白金電極を含む還元槽15を配備して成る。この還元水生成装置は、水道水を浄化槽12に導入して次亜塩素酸を除去し、次いで、還元槽15内において水を交流電気分解し、水の酸化還元電位を下げた水を生成するためのものである。

このような交流電気分解を伴う水処理装置の場合、交流電気分解に先立つフィルターによる浄化処理によって次亜塩素酸を除去することができるが、次亜塩素酸イオンは除去することはできず、通過させてしまう。この次亜塩素酸イオンは、還元槽の中で電気分解されることにより反応して次亜塩素酸を再生するため、この再生された次亜塩素酸を含んだ水が供出される結果となる。

また、浄化した水を直流電気分解して、アルカリイオン水と酸性水を作り出すアルカリイオン水生成器といわれる装置も広く普及している。このような直流電気分解を伴うアルカリイオン水生成器の場合、先の還元槽と同様、電解槽内で次亜塩素酸が生成されるが、それは陽極の電極の近くに発生し、通常、殺菌用水等に利用される酸性水として吐出され、飲料用水として利用されるアルカリイオン水側には混入することがないために、特に問題とはされていない。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述したように、従来の還元水生成装置においては、フィルターを通して一旦除去した次亜塩素酸が交流電解分解によって再生されて飲料水に混入してしまうという不都合があった。

そこで本発明は、そのような問題のない、即ち、浄化後の交流電気分解によって再生される次亜塩素酸を除去した上で処理水を吐出することができる家庭用水処理装置を提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するための本発明に係る家庭用水処理装置は、水道水を通過させることにより水中の次亜塩素酸を除去する一次フィルターと、前記一次フィルターを経て浄化した水を交流電気分解する還元槽と、前記還元槽において交流電気分解されることによって生成される次亜塩素酸を含む還元水を通過させることによって前記生成された次亜塩素酸を除去する二次フィルターとを有することを特徴とする。

前記一次フィルターと還元槽とが1つの容体内に収まる場合と、前記一次フィルターと還元槽と二次フィルターとが、1つの容体内に収まる場合とがある。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態につき、添付図面に依拠して説明する。本発明に係る家庭用水処理装置は、一次フィルター1と還元槽2と二次フィルター3とを有していて、これらは、1つの容体4内に収められている場合もあり(図1)、また、一次フィルター1と還元槽2とが容体4内に収められ、二次フィルター3が容体4に外付けされることもある(図2)。

一次フィルター1及び二次フィルター3としては、例えば、ミネラル原石5を活性炭素繊維6でくるんだ構造のものとするが、これに限らず、活性炭、亜硫酸カルシウム、その他の脱塩素吸着中和剤等であって差支えない。また、還元槽2における印加電圧は、交流である。7は水道に直結される導入口、8は吐出口である。

上記構成の水処理装置によった場合、一次フィルター1を経て次亜塩素酸を除去された水が、還元槽2で交流電気分解されることによって再び次亜塩素酸を含有することになっても、吐出に際して二次フィルター3を経ることにより、そこにおいて、生成された次亜塩素酸が除去されるので、次亜塩素酸を含まない飲料水として吐出することが可能となる。
