本発明は、自動車の袋状部を構成する車体パネルの内側に侵入した雨水を排水する水抜きプラグの改良に関するものである。

従来のこの種水抜きプラグとして、特公平2−30914号公報に示すものが存する。
該従来のプラグは、具体的には図示しないが、軟質なゴム材料で一体成形されて、車体パネルに開設された一対の拡径部を有する水抜孔に嵌着するプラグ本体を備え、該プラグ本体の内面側に上記水抜孔の孔縁に係止する弾性リブ壁を形成して、当該弾性リブ壁の上記一方の拡径部と対応する部分に位置決め突起を形成し、弾性リブ壁の他方の拡径部と対応する部分を切り欠くと共に、該切り欠き部分から半径方向にスカート片を一体に延設し、当該スカート片の内面側に一端が上記他方の拡径部と連通し他端が外部と連通する排水通路を画成して、当該排水通路内に逆流防止壁を形成する構成となっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
然し乍ら、従来の水抜きプラグにあって、そのプラグ本体を車体パネルの水抜孔に嵌着する場合には、そのゴム材料の軟質を利用して、プラグ本体を無理矢理変形させながら嵌着しなければならないので、これだけでも、大変な作業が強いられることとなるが、これに加えて、水抜孔の各拡径部に対して位置決め突起と排水通路の開口とを一致させなければならないで、作業が一層大変となることは否定できなかった。

本発明は、斯かる従来の水抜きプラグが抱える課題を有効に解決するために開発されたもので、請求項1記載の発明は、軟質材料製の第一部材と硬質材料製の第二部材とを備え、第一部材は、キャップ状に成形されて、その内面側に環状溝を画成する弾性リップ壁を形成すると共に、外面側に環状溝と連通する排水口を形成し、第二部材は、円筒状に成形されて、その端縁に上記第一部材の環状溝に係止するフランジを形成すると共に、該フランジ側に上記排水口と連通する排水通路を画成して、該排水通路内に逆流防止壁を形成する一方、その周壁に車体パネル側に開設された水抜孔の孔縁に係止する係止脚を形成する構成を採用した。

【発明の実施の形態】
