すなわち、本発明はこのような課題を達成するための紙送り装置の取付け機構として、プリンタ本体に着脱自在に取付けられ、かつ上記プリンタ本体側の駆動歯車と噛合う歯車を備えた紙送り装置の取付け機構として、上記プリンタ本体の上記紙送り装置の装着位置に取付け凹部(4)と、取付けピン(5)とを設け、また上記紙送り装置のフレームには、上記取付け凹部(4)に係合可能な係合片(12)と、上記歯車の軸心を中心として上記歯車の軸心から取付けピン(5)までの距離と上記取付けピン(5)径との和に相当する距離を半径とする円弧状の取付け凹部を形成する係合部(15)と、上記駆動歯車の軸に係合する取付け凹部(3)とを設けて、上記紙送り装置のフレームの係合片(12)、取付けピン(5)、及び取付け凹部(3)をそれぞれ上記プリンタの取付け凹部(4)、係合部(15)の凹部、及び駆動歯車の軸に係合させることにより上記紙送り装置を上記プリンタ本体に装着するようにした。
