本発明は、情報記録媒体用ケースに関するものであり、詳しくは、フラッシュメモリーカード等の情報記録媒体を個々に収納する合成樹脂製の可搬式ケースであって、情報記録媒体に対する塵埃の付着防止に有効な情報記録媒体用ケースに関するものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
フラッシュメモリーカード等の情報記録媒体は、その記録量と小型化された外形から、デジタルカメラ、POSシステム等の各種の分野に普及しつつある。斯かる情報記録媒体は、機器に接続するための精密なコネクターを備えていることもあり、持ち歩く場合などに塵埃の付着を防止する必要がある。本発明の目的は、フラッシュメモリーカード等を個々に収納し且つ塵埃の付着を有効に防止し得る可搬式の情報記録媒体用ケースを提供することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明の情報記録媒体用ケースは、方形平板状の情報記録媒体(5)を収納する合成樹脂製の可搬式ケースであって、外形を偏平な6面体に形成され且つその厚みに相当する一側面が情報記録媒体(5)を出し入れする口部(10)とされた箱部材(1)と、箱部材(1)が嵌合する開口(2A)を備えた偏平な枠部材(2)とから構成され、口部(10)に隣接して相対向し且つ厚みに相当する箱部材(1)の他の一組の側面(11)、(13)は、同軸状に配置された軸(3)、(3)を介し、開口(2A)内で対向する枠部材(2)の一組の内壁面(21)、(23)側に枢支され、箱部材(1)の口部(10)は、当該箱部材の厚み方向に対して傾斜させられ、開口(2A)に箱部材(1)を嵌合させた際に口部(10)側に位置する枠部材(2)の他の内壁面(20)は、口部(10)に当接する傾斜形状を備えていることを特徴とする。すなわち、枠部材(2)の開口(2A)内で所定方向に回動してその口部(10)を開放し又は封止する箱部材(1)の回動構造は、枠部材(2)の内壁面(20)に対する口部(10)の密着性を高めることが出来る。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の情報記録媒体用ケースを図面に基づいて説明する。図1は、本発明の情報記録媒体用ケースの全体外観図でる。図2は、本発明の情報記録媒体用ケースの上面図である。図3は、図2におけるIII −III 矢視図であり、本発明の情報記録媒体用ケースの一部破断の側面図である。以下、発明の実施の形態に係る説明においては情報記録媒体用ケースを「ケース」と略記する。

本発明のケースは、図1に示す様に、方形平板状の情報記録媒体(5)を収納する合成樹脂製の可搬式ケースであり、ケース本体としての箱部材(1)と、箱部材(1)の蓋および補強材としての枠部材(2)とから構成される。情報記録媒体(5)としては、比較的小型であって且つ一側縁部にコネクター等の機能部品が露出したフラッシュメモリーカード等が好適である。箱部材(1)及び枠部材(2)を構成する合成樹脂としては、ポリカーボネート、ポリスチレン等の各種の熱可塑性樹脂を使用することが出来る。斯かる樹脂材料は、勿論、着色した材料であってもよいが、情報記録媒体(5)を外側から確認し得る様に、通常は透明な材料が使用される。

また、上記の合成樹脂は、帯電防止剤を含む樹脂であることが好ましい。帯電防止剤としては、着色された樹脂材料に配合する場合、導電性カーボンブラックや金属粉を用いることも出来るが、透明な材料に配合する場合、ポリエチレングリコールの脂肪酸エステル、アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸などの界面活性剤、ビニルピリジンとメチルメタクリレートのランダム共重合体をピリジニウム塩化して得られる共重合体、アクリルアミドとアクリル酸エステルとの共重合体などの親水性重合体が用いられる。後述する構造に加え、帯電防止剤を含む樹脂にてケースを構成した場合には、当該ケースへの塵埃の付着を防止することが出来、内部への塵埃の進入を一層低減することが出来る。

箱部材(1)は、外形を偏平な6面体に形成され且つその厚みに相当する一側面が情報記録媒体(5)を出し入れする口部(10)とされた容器である。箱部材(1)の内部空間は、情報記録媒体(5)の全体が弛く嵌合する空間、すなわち、情報記録媒体(5)を滑らせて出し入れし得る程度にゆとりを備えた大きさの空間とされる。また、枠部材(2)は、外形を偏平な直方体に形成され且つ箱部材(1)の全体が嵌合する開口(2A)を備えている。箱部材(1)及び枠部材(2)は、各々、上記の樹脂材料を射出成形することによって作製される。

箱部材(1)は、枠部材(2)の開口(2A)内に回動自在に支持される。具体的には、口部(10)に隣接して相対向し且つ厚みに相当する箱部材(1)の他の一組の側面(11)、(13)は、同軸状に配置された軸(3)、(3)を介し、開口(2A)内で対向する枠部材(2)の一組の内壁面(21)、(23)側に枢支される。軸(3)、(3)は、通常、箱部材(1)の各側面(11)、(13)に一体的に突設され、枠部材(2)の内壁面(21)、(23)に形成された軸受け用の孔に支承される。すなわち、別個に作製された箱部材(1)と枠部材(2)は、枠部材(2)を僅かに押し拡げて箱部材(1)を嵌め込むことにより、軸(3)、(3)によって結合される。

本発明においては、口部(10)と枠部材(2)との密着性を高め得る構造になされている。すなわち、図3に示す様に、箱部材(1)の口部(10)は、当該箱部材の厚み方向に対して傾斜させられ、開口(2A)に箱部材(1)を嵌合させた際に口部(10)側に位置する枠部材(2)の他の内壁面(20)は、口部(10)に当接する傾斜形状を備えている。また、口部(10)に対向する箱部材(1)の底面(12)は、口部(10)と略平行に形成され、当該箱部材の厚み方向に対して傾斜させられている。そして、内壁面(20)に対向する枠部材(2)の内壁面(22)も、内壁面(20)と平行になされ、底面(12)に当接する傾斜形状を備えている。

また、枠部材(2)の開口(2A)内で所定の方向に回転してその口部(10)を開放し又は封止する箱部材(1)の回動構造は、枠部材(2)の内壁面(20)に対する口部(10)の密着性、すなわち、口部(10)の密封性を高めることが出来る。換言すれば、箱部材(1)の口部(10)及び枠部材(2)の内壁面(20)が互いに傾斜し、枠部材(2)に対して箱部材(1)を一方向へ開閉する様になされているため、口部(10)と内壁面(20)との間に箱部材(1)が回動するための間隙を必要とせず、箱部材(1)の口部(10)と枠部材(2)の内壁面(20)とが密着する状態であっても、箱部材(1)を円滑に回転させることが出来る。従って、本発明のケースは、塵埃の進入を防止することが出来、収納した情報記録媒体(5)への塵埃の付着を有効に防止し得る。
