本発明は、トイレや浴室、玄関等の壁面に取り付けられる縦握り手摺と横手つき手摺とを組み合わせた手摺に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、トイレ等に使用される手摺として、図７に示すように、垂直方向に延びる棒状の縦握り手摺（４０）と、水平方向に延びる棚板状の横手つき手摺（４１）とを連結した棚型手摺が商品化されている。この棚型手摺の場合には、縦握り手摺（４０）を握るといった使い方だけでなく、横手つき手摺（４１）の上面に手をつくといった使い方も可能となっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記の棚型手摺の場合、右利きの使用者が使い易いように、使用者から見て右側の壁面にのみ対応した構造となっていた。仮に、この棚型手摺を使用者から見て左側の壁面に取り付けた場合には、縦握り手摺（４０）が横手つき手摺（４１）の後端部側に位置し、縦握り手摺（４０）が邪魔になって横手つき手摺（４１）における手つき動作が非常にやり難くなってしまう。従って、使用者から見て左側の壁面に取り付ける場合には、左側の壁面に対応した別の構造の棚型手摺を用意する必要があり、コスト高を招いていた。

本発明は、上記の不具合を解消して、使用者から見て左右のどちらの壁面にも対応させることができ、見た目も良好な縦握り手摺と横手つき手摺との組み合わせ手摺の提供を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため、本発明の組み合わせ手摺は、まず、それぞれ別体に形成した棒状の縦握り手摺と棚状の横手つき手摺とを、Ｔ字状若しくは十字状に組み合わせて壁面に取り付けることで、使用者から見て左右どちらの壁面に対しても対応可能とした組み合わせ手摺である。

そして、本発明では、このような構成において、前記縦握り手摺の中間部を、前記壁面とは反対側の側方に屈曲若しくは湾曲させて、その上部側を上握り部とし、同じく下部側を上握り部よりも外方に離間した下握り部とするとともに、この下握り部と壁面との間の隙間に、縦握り手摺がその横手つき手摺を跨ぎ、且つ、下握り部の握り部分がこの横手つき手摺よりも下方へ突出するような状態で、横手つき手摺を取り付けることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
図１は、本発明の一実施形態に係る組み合わせ手摺を右側壁面に対応して取り付けたときの状態を示す斜視図、図２は、同じくその分解斜視図、図３は、同じくその側面図、図４は、同じくその正面図、図５は、組み合わせ手摺を左側壁面に対応して取り付けたときの状態を示す斜視図である。

本実施形態に係るトイレ用の組み合わせ手摺は、それぞれ別体に形成された棒状の縦握り手摺（１）と棚状の横手つき手摺（２）とを適宜組み合わせた状態で、トイレの便器（３）の側方に位置する壁面（４）に取り付けるようになっている。なお、図１乃至図４に示す壁面（４）は、いずれも使用者すなわち便器（３）に座った人から見て右側に配置されている。
