従来、自動車の車内用の清掃装置として、ハウジング内に真空発生装置を配設し、ハウジング上部から先端にエアーノズルを有するバキュームホースを導出して車内のゴミを吸い取る掃除機が用いられている。

この掃除機で、車内のシートをクリーニングするにはバキュームホースで大まかなゴミを吸い取った後に、専用の洗剤等を噴霧したり、ヒータ式噴霧器によりスチームを噴霧して汚れを浮き出させて拭き取っていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、専用洗剤を噴霧した場合、拭き取りが不十分であると搭乗者の衣服にそれが染み込んだり、車内に臭いが残る等の問題があった。また、ヒータ式噴霧器によるスチームは液滴が大きいために、洗い残しが生じる等の問題がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は前記目的を達成するため、移動可能な台車上に、貯水槽の内部に超音波振動子を配設し、貯水槽に給水口とスチームの吐出口を設けた超音波霧化ユニットを設け、先端に吸引ノズルを取り付けた吸引ホースを集塵タンクの吸引口に着脱自在に接続し、また、吐出口を設けたバキューム式掃除機ユニットと、前記超音波霧化ユニットおよびバキューム式掃除機ユニットを制御する制御ユニットとを前記貯水槽の上に載置したことを要旨とするものである。

請求項1記載の本発明によれば、超音波霧化ユニットでの超音波振動子の駆動は、液体に超音波の振動エネルギーを与え、液面や液内部に周波数固有の毛細表面波やキャビテーションを発生させることにより、液面に無数の毛細表面波をつくり、液体の表面張力を減少させ、規則的分裂を行う。そこで、超音波により液滴の細かいスチームを噴霧して、シート等の隅々まで浸透させて洗浄効果を向上させる。また、ヒータ式の噴霧器に比べて電力消費は少なくてすむ。

以下、図面にもとづいて本発明の実施の形態を詳細に説明する。図1は本発明の洗浄装置の1実施形態を示す一部切欠いた側面図、図2は同上斜視図を示すものであり、図中1は枠組まれた本体の下面にキャスター2を有し、後方に手押し用のハンドル3を設けた台車である。
