【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、消火栓を始めとし、制水弁、仕切弁、空気弁等の各種地中埋設用機器に供する弁開閉器及びその開閉方法に関し、より詳しくは、筒状をなす棒体の先端形状を特定して、地中用弁室内にある弁開閉レバーの操作が容易に行える弁開閉器及びそれを用いた弁の開閉方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、各種地中埋設用機器の弁を開閉するため、これに付帯した棒状の弁開閉レバーを操作する際は、該レバーを直接把持して手動により弁開閉方向に回動させるか、或いは弁開閉レバーの動作が堅い場合には、金槌等で弁開閉レバーに打撃を与えつつ回動させたり、所謂バール等略L字状をなす金物を弁開閉レバーに引っ掛け、引っ張って回動させていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上記手動により直接操作する場合は、地表面から地中に埋設された地中用弁室内に手を延ばして前記機器の弁開閉レバーを操作しなければならず、体勢が悪くなって作業がしにくく、更に、機器が深く埋設されている場合には、上記作業が更に煩瑣になるうえに、手が届き難く又滑る等の問題があった。
又、上記打撃を与えつつ回動させる場合は、その衝撃が弁を傷める原因となるため好ましくない。而して、この種弁開閉レバーは、弁軸から傾斜した状態で保持され、その先端が地中用弁室の内壁と近接して弁開閉レバー先端からの軸方向における空間(地中用弁室の内壁までの距離)が狭くなるため、やむを得ず上記金槌等を用いる場合にあっても、かかる狭空間においては弁開閉レバーに的確な打撃を与え難い。更に又、弁開閉レバーにバール等を引っ掛けて引っ張る場合にはバール等が滑り易い。
従って、何れの場合にも動作が堅い弁開閉レバーを回動させるに必要な力を効率的に作用させ難いといった問題があった。
本発明は、上記の従来の問題に鑑みてなされたもので、弁開閉操作が地中用弁室の上部開口から行えて手間がかからず、しかも弁開閉レバーの開閉操作がスムーズに行える弁開閉器及び弁の開閉方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するため、本発明に係る弁開閉器は、弁開閉レバー15に挿入されて該弁開閉レバー15を中心軸として回転する筒状の先端部2の反対側末端8が、前記回転と共に円運動をなすべく筒状の先端部2に第一湾曲部4を連設して略へ字形に曲成されてなることを特徴とするものである。
上記構成からなる弁開閉器1にあっては、傾斜状態にある弁開閉レバー15の軸方向で、その先端15aと地中用弁室13の内壁13a間にある空間が狭い場合にあっても、略へ字形の第一湾曲部4を上記空間に掻い潜らせることで、その長さを延設せしめた弁開閉器1を傾斜状態にある弁開閉レバー15に挿入し、又は弁開閉レバー15から抜き取ることができる。
又、弁開閉レバー15に筒状の先端部2が挿入された状態で、その末端8を円運動させることが可能なために、弁開閉器1が弁開閉レバー15を中心軸として方向変換自在となる。

又、本発明に係る弁開閉器は、第一湾曲部4の湾曲起点近傍から先端部2の端縁2a側の適宜位置に弁開閉レバー15の先端15aが当接される当たり部3を設けたものであれば、弁開閉レバー15への挿入時には、当たり部3がストッパーとなりその先端15aが略へ字形をなす第一湾曲部4よりも奥深くに挿入されることを阻止するために、先端部2が弁開閉レバー15を中心軸として回転自在に保たれて弁開閉器1自体の方向変換が抵抗なく行え、又、弁開閉レバー15からの抜き取りも容易に行える。

又、本発明に係る弁開閉器は、先端部2を先端に向けて漸開状に形成したものであれば、前記弁開閉レバー15への挿入や弁開閉レバー15からの抜き取りがより一層容易になり好ましい。
更に、本発明に係る弁開閉器は、第一湾曲部4に繋がる中間部5の他端に略逆へ字形の第二湾曲部6を設け、該第二湾曲部6にその湾曲方向で先端部2と平行若しくは非平行をなす直線状の把持部7が繋がってなる構成を採用することができる。
かかる構成からなる弁開閉器1にあっては、傾斜状態にある弁開閉レバー15を起立せしめ、又、逆傾斜状態に傾倒させるという一連のレバー操作時に、弁開閉器1自体がその先端部2を中心とし、回転して方向変換する際の把持部7の回転半径を小さくすることができるために、その動線が短くなって開閉操作が小スペース内で迅速に行える。
更に起立状態にある弁開閉レバー15に挿入した際には、把持部7が中間部5から屈折して上向き状を呈するために、弁開閉器1の末端がより把持し易くなるとともに、力がよく利いて弁開閉レバー15をスムーズに回動させることができる。

又、本発明に係る弁開閉器は、先端部2の反対側末端8にバール片9又はキャップ体10を設けたものであれば、地中用弁室13内にある埋設機器14の弁開閉レバー15を操作するに加えて、バール片9によって地中用弁室13の上面開口を閉塞する蓋体11を開放し、又は、キャップ体10によって埋設機器14の弁開閉螺子16を開閉することができる。即ち、1本の弁開閉器1の両端部に夫々異なった工具を具備せしめて兼用的な使用を可能となすものである。

更に又、本発明に係る弁の開閉方法は、筒状の先端部2に第一湾曲部4を連設して略へ字形に曲成した棒状の弁開閉器1の前記先端部2を傾斜状態の弁開閉レバー15に挿入し、弁開閉器1と共に弁開閉レバー15を弁開閉方向に回動させて略起立せしめた時点で、弁開閉器1の末端8を筒状の先端部2を中心として略半回転円運動させた後、弁開閉器1と共に弁開閉レバー15を同一方向に更に回動させて逆傾斜状態となすものである。
かかる構成からなる弁の開閉方法にあっては、弁開閉器1を弁開閉レバー15に挿入した状態のままで、弁開閉器1の回動及び回転の一連操作が可能となり、これに伴って傾斜状態にある弁開閉レバー15を起立せしめ、又、逆傾斜状態に傾倒させるという弁の開閉が完全、且つ速やかに行える。

又、本発明に係る弁の開閉方法は、筒状の先端部2に第一湾曲部4を連設して略へ字形に曲成した棒状の弁開閉器1の前記先端部2を地中用弁室13内にある略起立状態の弁開閉レバー15に挿入し、第一湾曲部4の相対する凹、凸湾曲面側を弁開閉レバー15の弁開閉方向に向けるとともに、先端部2の反対側末端8を前記弁室13の上面開口から突出させるか又は該弁室13内の上面開口付近に位置させ、弁開閉器1と共に弁開閉レバー15を前記第一湾曲部4の凸湾曲面側に回動させて傾斜状態となすものである。
かかる構成からなる弁の開閉方法にあっては、弁開閉器1を弁開閉レバー15に挿入した状態で、第一湾曲部4が地中用弁室13の内壁13aの近くに至るまで回動させることができ、地中用弁室13内の狭いスペースにあっても起立状態にある弁開閉レバー15を確実に傾斜状態に傾倒させて、弁を完全に全開又は全閉することができる。

又、本発明に係る弁の開閉方法は、第一湾曲部4の湾曲起点近傍から先端部2の端縁2a側の適宜位置及び/又は弁開閉レバー15の外側に当たり部3を設け、弁開閉器1の挿入深さを決めて操作するものであれば、弁開閉器1を弁開閉レバー15に挿入した時点で、弁開閉器1の第一湾曲部4の湾曲起点近傍から先端部2の端縁2a側の適宜位置にある当たり部3aが弁開閉レバー15の先端15aに当接し、或いは、弁開閉レバー15の外側にある当たり部3bが弁開閉器1の筒状の先端部2の端縁2aに当接するために、夫々弁開閉レバー15の先端15aが略へ字形をなす第一湾曲部4よりも奥深くに嵌挿して噛み込むことがなく、上記弁開閉器1の回転、円運動が支障なく行えるとともに、弁開閉レバー15からの抜き取りも容易に行えて、一連の操作が無駄なく、且つ迅速に行える。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を、図面を参酌しつつ説明する。
図1(イ)及び(ニ)は、本実施形態の一例に係る弁開閉器1を示す。
該弁開閉器1は、断面円形のパイプ体からなり、筒状の先端部2に略へ字形の第一湾曲部4を連設し、該第一湾曲部4に繋がってその末端8に至る部分を直線状で長尺の把持部7となす、又、前記先端部2はその端縁2a(非湾曲側)に向けて漸開状に形成され、且つ前記第一湾曲部4の湾曲起点近傍には、パイプの径方向に向け丸リベットが貫設されて当たり部3aを構成している。

図1(ロ)及び(ニ)は、本発明の他実施形態に係る弁開閉器1を示し、該弁開閉器1もパイプ体の先端部2に略へ字形の第一湾曲部4を連設し、該第一湾曲部4に繋がる後部を直線状で長尺の中間部5となすとともに、その他端側に略逆へ字形の第二湾曲部6を設け、且つ該第二湾曲部6に繋がりその末端8に至る部分を直線状の把持部7となす断面円形の棒状体からなる。
即ち、直線状の中間部5の両端が互いに逆方向に湾曲されることにより、第一湾曲部4と第二湾曲部6が形成され、該第一湾曲部4及び第二湾曲部6の湾曲角度α1,α2が夫々異なり、前記把持部7が第二湾曲部6の湾曲方向で先端部2と非平行をなしている。

図1(ハ)及び(ニ)は、上記他実施形態に係る弁開閉器の変形例を示し、当該弁開閉器1は、前出の図1(ロ)に示す弁開閉器における第一湾曲部4及び第二湾曲部6の湾曲角度を夫々同一の狭角となし(湾曲角度α1=α3、α2=α3)、その中間部5を短くなすとともに、先端部2と平行となる把持部7を直線状に長く延設成形(図1(ハ)ではその中位を省略記載、全容は図7に明記)してその末端8に至ってなる。
而して、上記図1(ロ)及び(ハ)の場合も前記図1(イ)と同様に、先端部2はその端縁2a(非湾曲側)に向けて漸開状に形成され、又、第一湾曲部4の湾曲起点近傍に当たり部3aを有してなる。

前記各実施形態における弁開閉器1の断面形状は一例で、かかる断面形状は所定の目的を果たす範囲内で適宜変更可能であり、例えて筒状の先端部2は、後述するように該先端部2を挿入する弁開閉レバー15の断面形状に応じ、弁開閉レバー15を中心軸として回動可能な形状であればよく、又、当たり部3aを設ける構成は必須の条件ではないが、例えて図2(イ)乃至(ニ)に示す如く、円筒体自体を内腔側に窪めて形成したもの(同図(イ))、筒状体の内腔に板状体を固着したもの(同図(ロ)及び(ハ))、及び先端部2を端縁2a側で漸開しない袋体により形成し、その有底部を当たり部3aとなすものの他、後述するように弁開閉レバー15の先端15aと当接して、該弁開閉レバー15に挿入される弁開閉器1の挿入深さを決められるものであればその具体的な態様は問わないが、前記先端15aとの接触度合いが少ないもの程、前記弁開閉器1自体の回動、円運動時に抵抗が小さく好ましい。
又、当たり部3aは、第一湾曲部4の湾曲起点近傍に限らず、前記近傍から先端部2の端縁2a側の適宜位置に設けられ、先端部2内に弁開閉レバー15が挿入可能となされるとともに、その先端15aが当接されるようになされておればよい。更に、先端部2に連設される部位は筒体の他、例えて図2(ニ)に示す如き中実で任意の断面形状からなる棒体であっても殊更問題はない。
更に又、当該弁開閉器1は金属製、樹脂製等、所望の性能に応じて任意の材質から構成されればよい。

次に、上記弁開閉器1を使用して弁を開閉する方法について説明する。
まず、図1(イ)に示す弁開閉器1を使用する場合、図3(イ)乃至(ハ)に示す如く、各ブロック体12を組積して形成した地中用弁室13内の下位に位置する埋設機器14としての消火栓に付帯する弁開閉レバーl5(断面円形の棒体)に、地中用弁室13の上面開口からその把持部7を把持して弁開閉器1を差し入れるとともに、左傾斜状態(弁が全開の状態)にある弁開閉レバー15の軸方向で、その先端15aと地中用弁室13の内壁13a間にある空間へ略へ字形の第一湾曲部4を掻い潜らせて筒状の先端部2を弁開閉レバー15に挿入すると、弁開閉器1の当たり部3aが弁開閉レバー15の先端15aに当接してその挿入が停止される(▲1▼の状態)。
続いて、同図(ニ)に示す如く、弁を全閉の状態(弁開閉レバー15が右傾斜状態)となすべく、地中用弁室13の上面に突出する把持部7を把持して弁開閉器1と共に弁開閉レバー15を右方向に略半分回動させ、弁開閉レバー15が起立して垂直となった時点(▲2▼の状態)で、弁開閉器1の末端8をその先端部2を中心として略半回転(略180度)円運動させる(▲3▼の状態)。
更に、この状態を保持して弁開閉器1を右方向に回動させることで、弁開閉レバー15は右傾斜状態(▲4▼の状態)となって、弁が完全に閉められる。
而して、前記図3(イ)乃至(ハ)に示す挿入手順の逆手順をもって弁開閉器1を弁開閉レバー15から抜き取ることにより、一連の弁操作が終了する。

又、上記操作と逆手順によって弁開閉器1を右から左方向に回動させれば、弁開閉レバー15を左傾斜状態となして、弁を完全に開くことができる。
ここで、弁開閉器1の挿入、抜き取りに際しては、地中用弁室13内での空間が狭くても、略へ字形をなす第一湾曲部4以下の先端部2をその空間で弧状に運動させることにより支障なく行えるとともに、その端縁2aで漸開する先端部2が弁開閉レバー15との挿通性を高め、又、挿入された弁開閉器1は、弁開閉レバー15の先端15aと当接する当たり部3aにより必要以上に嵌挿されて噛み込むことがないので、抜き取り容易となる。
又、上記当接状態により、先端部2を、弁開閉レバー15を中心軸として回転自在となすものである。

図4に示す場合は、地中用弁室13の高さが高く、深い位置に設置された埋設機器14の弁開閉レバー15を操作するもので、この場合も前記図3における操作と同様の一連の操作を行えばよいが、図4に示す如く、弁開閉器1と共に右方向に略半分回動させた弁開閉レバー15が略起立した時点(▲2▼の状態)で、弁開閉器1の末端8をその先端部2を中心として略半回転(略180度)円運動させると同時に、弁開閉レバー15を少し右傾斜させて(▲3▼の状態)、更に弁開閉器1を右方向に回動させることで、弁が完全に閉められてなる(▲4▼の状態)。
ここで、埋設機器14は地表面から深くにあり、且つ弁開閉レバー15の回動方向である地中用弁室13の内幅が狭いために、かかる弁開閉レバー15を従来の方法(手動又は金槌、バール等)で操作することは困難となるが、当該弁開閉器1によれば、図4に示す如くその末端8が地中用弁室13の上面から突出せずに上面開口付近に位置した把持部7を地中用弁室13内で把持して操作することにより、前記弁開閉レバー15を容易、且つ確実に開閉することができる。

又、前記図1(ロ)及び(ハ)に示す弁開閉器1を使用する場合も、図5乃至図7に示す如く、夫々前記図3及び図4における操作と同様の一連の操作(夫々▲1▼乃至▲4▼の状態)を行えばよい。
而して、当該弁開閉器1には夫々第二湾曲部6が設けられ、又、これに把持部7が繋がり末端8に至ってなるために、弁開閉レバー15が略起立した時点(夫々▲2▼の状態)で、弁開閉器1自体がその先端部2を中心とし、略半回転(略180度)円運動して方向変換する際の末端8における回転半径を小さくすることができるので、その動線が短くなって操作が小スペース内で行えるという利点がある。
特に、図1(ハ)及び図7に示す弁開閉器1にあっては、その中間部5が短く形成され、且つ第一湾曲部4及び第二湾曲部6の湾曲角度(α3)を夫々同一の狭角となしているので、前記方向変換時に把持部7も略垂直に起立してその回転半径がより小さくなるとともに、把持部7が長く延設成形されてなるので、末端8寄りを把持すれば動作が堅い弁開閉レバー15を微力で回動可能になすという優位性がある。

又、前記各実施形態においては、最初から傾斜状態(弁が全開又は全閉の状態)にある弁開閉レバー15を一旦起立状態にした後、更に逆傾斜状態にして弁の開閉を行っているが、最初から起立又は略起立状態(弁が半開きの状態)にある弁開閉レバー15にあっても、当該弁開閉器1を用いてこれを傾斜状態となすことができる。
例えば、前記図1(イ)に示す弁開閉器1を使用する図3(ニ)において、仮に弁開閉レバー15が最初から開閉途中の起立状態にあるとすれば、地中用弁室13の上面開口から弁開閉器1を差し入れ、筒状の先端部2を略垂直状にして上方から弁開閉レバー15に挿入すると、前記と同様に弁開閉器1の当たり部3aが弁開閉レバー15の先端15aに当接してその挿入が停止され、且つ第一湾曲部4の相対する凹、凸湾曲面側を弁開閉レバー15の弁開閉方向に向け(▲3▼の状態)、続けて把持部7を把持して弁開閉器1と共に弁開閉レバー15を第一湾曲部4の凸湾曲面側、即ち同図で右方向に回動させることで右傾斜状態(▲4▼の状態)となって、弁が完全に閉じられる。又、前記図4乃至図7においても、弁開閉レバー15が最初から略起立又は起立状態にある場合もこれと同様(▲3▼乃至▲4▼の状態)にすればよい。
而して、該実施形態では、弁開閉器1の第一湾曲部4に連設した先端部2を起立又は略起立状態の弁開閉レバー15に挿入して弁開閉器1を第一湾曲部4の凸湾曲面側に回動させるため、前記図3(ニ)や図4乃至図7で▲3▼乃至▲4▼の状態として示す如く、第一湾曲部4が地中用弁室13の内壁13aの近くに至るまで弁開閉器1を回動でき、その回動範囲をできるだけ広くして弁開閉レバー15を速やかに傾斜状態となすものである。

尚、上記埋設機器14としての消火栓は、外部に軸支された弁開閉レバー15の回動操作により内蔵せる弁を開閉して放水及び止水を行う構造のものであって、該弁開閉レバー15は全開状態(左傾斜時)から全閉状態(右傾斜時)まで略90度の回動範囲に設定されてなるものであるが、かかる埋設機器14は上記消火栓に限定されず、弁軸を中心として回動作動する弁開閉レバー15を具備するものであれば、如何なる機種であってもよいし、その回動範囲も上記のものに限定されず、例えて起立又は略起立状態で全開又は全閉状態、傾斜状態で全閉又は全開状態となるものの他、適宜に設定されるものであってもよい。
又、前記各実施形態における、弁開閉器1の略へ字形の第一湾曲部4、第二湾曲部6、中間部5及び把持部7の夫々の形状、並びに第一湾曲部4及び第二湾曲部6の各湾曲角度α乃至α3やその形成位置も前記実施形態のものに限定されず、埋設機器14を保護する地中用弁室13の高さやこれを形成するブロック体12の寸法、形状等に応じて適宜変更可能である。

更に、上記各実施形態においては、弁開閉レバー15に挿入される弁開閉器1の挿入深さを弁開閉器1に設けた当たり部3aにより制限したが、かかる挿入深さは弁開閉レバー15の外側に設けた当たり部3bに弁開閉器1の先端部2の端縁2aを当接せしめて制限することも可能で、例えて図8(イ)乃至(ニ)に示す如く、弁開閉レバー15の先端15aを縮径して外周面に段部を凹設してなるもの(同図(イ))、先端15aから離隔した外周面に凸部を連続又は分断して設けたもの(同図(ロ))、及び先端15aから離隔した位置で弁開閉レバー15の径方向に向け棒状体が貫設されて、その両端が外側に突出したもの(同図(ハ)及び(ニ))等、適宜形状になすことができる。

次に、弁開閉器1の他実施形態を説明すると、先ず図9(イ)及び(ロ)に示す弁開閉器1は、筒状の先端部2の反対側末端8、即ち、略へ字形の第一湾曲部4に繋がる把持部7の末端8に角筒形で袋状をなすキャップ体10が一体的に設けられてなるものである。
而して、上記弁開閉器1は、図9(ホ)に示す如く、前出の埋設機器14としての消火栓の他、仕切弁等に併設される弁開閉螺子16を回転させてその弁を開閉すべく、埋設機器14から垂設せる弁開閉螺子16に、地中用弁室13の上面開口からその把持部7を把持して弁開閉器1を差し入れ、末端8にあるキャップ体10を嵌挿させるとともに、先端部2を回動させて使用するものである。
又、同図に破線で示す如き先端部2と把持部7を略平行となす弁開閉器1によれば、先端部2をハンドルとして容易に回動できると同時に、大きな回転力を弁開閉螺子16に作用させることができる。
尚、上記角筒形をなすキャップ体10の形状は自由で、該キャップ体10を嵌挿する弁開閉螺子16の形状に相応して、該弁開閉螺子16を回転させられるものであれば良い。

又、図9(ハ)及び(ニ)、図10(イ)及び(ロ)に示す弁開閉器1の末端8にはバール片9が一体的に連設されてなる。更に詳しくは、図9(ハ)及び(ニ)におけるバール片9は、把持部7の末端8で舌片状を呈してなり、又、図10(イ)及び(ロ)におけるバール片9は、第二湾曲部6に繋がる把持部7の末端8を舌片状に形成し、その先端を屈折して上向かせるとともに、該所の上面に膨出部17を、又、下面に支持座18を設け、且つ第二湾曲部6の狭角側に補強材19を設けてなるものである。
而して、上記弁開閉器1は、図10(ハ)乃至(ヘ)に示す如く、前出の地中用弁室13の上面開口を閉塞せる蓋体11に設けたバール孔11aにそのバール片9を挿入し、梃子作用をもって蓋体11を地中用弁室13から開放せしめるものである。
ここで、図10(イ)及び(ロ)に示す弁開閉器1の場合は、同図(ホ)及び(ヘ)に示す如くバール孔11aに追設された凹陥部11bに、バール片9の上面にある膨出部17が嵌合してバール孔11aに挿入されたバール片9の位置決めがなされ、又、地中用弁室13の上面に当接する支持座18が支点となって梃子作用が良く利くとともに、第二湾曲部6にある補強材19が弁開閉器1の屈曲変形を防止する等の作用を奏するために、蓋体11の開放が更に容易となる。
