バッテリ式のフォークリフトなどでは、図6に示すように、車体aに、バッテリbを収納するバッテリ収納箱cを形成するとともに、その上面を起倒自在なカバーeを用いて開閉することにより、頻繁に行われるバッテリbの点検、充電又は交換などを容易としている。
