Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a belt meandering detection device in a belt conveyor, and is particularly suitable for a moving sidewalk that carries passengers.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, moving walks are roughly divided into a pallet type for placing passengers on a pallet and a belt type for placing passengers on a belt.
In particular, the belt-type moving sidewalk has a fundamental problem that the belt meanders.
[0003]
For this reason, as shown in FIG. 2, in the case of a moving sidewalk where the belt 3 moves on the sliding plate 2 between the skirt panels 1 facing each other at intervals, the rising pieces 2 a are provided at both ends of the sliding plate 2. As shown in FIG. 3, movement preventing pieces 4a are provided at both ends of the roller 4 of the belt 3 (a driving roller, a driven roller, a guide roller or the like for driving the belt 3), and meandering more than a predetermined amount ).
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, even if the belt meanders excessively, it cannot be detected, and if the operation of the moving sidewalk continues, the belt 3 gets over the rising piece 2a of the sliding plate 2 or gets over the movement blocking piece 4a of the roller 4. The belt could be damaged.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the above points, and relates to a safety device that detects meandering of a belt exceeding a predetermined level.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is a moving sidewalk in which a belt circulates on a sliding plate between opposed skirt panels at an interval, and opposite sides of the sliding plate face the widthwise ends of the belt. As described above, in the case where the rising piece is configured in the vertical direction with a gap of an allowable meandering amount, the widthwise end of the belt hidden behind the skirt panel is pressed toward the sliding plate over the gap. A roller supported movably along the rising piece is rotatably provided, and has a detecting means for detecting a predetermined amount of movement in the forward and reverse directions of the roller.
[0007]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
In the present invention, the meandering of the belt in either the left or right direction can be detected by the behavior of a single roller.
[0008]
Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is an overall view of a meandering detection apparatus showing an embodiment of the present invention. In the figure, the same reference numerals as in FIGS. 2 to 3 denote the same, but 10 is a roller that rotates on the end of the belt 3 that is normally hidden behind the skirt panel 1 and cannot be seen from the outside. It is rotatably provided on the fixed portion 20 via the lever 11.
[0009]
Reference numeral 12 denotes, for example, a spring that applies a force that constantly pushes the lever 11 downward by a spring force. The roller 12 causes the roller 10 to rotate on the belt 3 while pressing the belt 3.
[0010]
Reference numeral 13 denotes a switch (for example, a limit switch) disposed above the lever 11 and 14 is disposed below the lever 11 with a predetermined gap therebetween. Reference numeral 21 denotes a stopper that suppresses the upward movement of the lever 11.
[0011]
Therefore, when the belt 3 is more than necessary in the A direction in FIG. 1, the state shown in FIG. 4 is reached, and the roller 10 is disengaged from the belt 3, so that the lever 11 is counterclockwise around the fixing portion 20. The switch 14 is rotated to operate, and it is detected that the belt 3 meanders excessively in the A direction.
[0012]
On the other hand, when the belt 3 is moved more than necessary in the B direction in FIG. 1, the state shown in FIG. 5 is reached, and the roller 10 is lifted by the end of the belt 3 rising along the rising piece 2 a of the sliding plate 2. As a result of being pushed up against the spring force of the spring 12, the lever 11 rotates clockwise around the fixed portion 20 to operate the switch 13, and detects that the belt 3 meanders in the B direction.
[0013]
Naturally, there should be an acceptable amount of meandering on the left and right, and the adjustment is made based on dimensions such as the width of the roller 10 and the gap between the rising piece 2 a of the sliding plate 2 and the end of the belt 3.
[0014]
Next, FIG. 6 is a view showing another embodiment of the present invention, in which the meandering detection device described above is provided to face the roller 4 of the belt 3.
[0015]
That is, in FIG. 6, the roller 10 is arranged so that the end of the belt 3 is sandwiched between the roller 4 and the roller 10.
[0016]
In the same manner as described above, in essence, excessive meandering of the belt 3 is detected through a predetermined rotation of the lever 11.
[0017]
In either case, if excessive meandering of the belt 3 is detected, the operation of the moving sidewalk is stopped to prevent the belt from being damaged, and the passengers are safe.
[0018]
Since the roller 10 presses the end of the belt 3 against the support guide member appropriately, it also has a function of suppressing the meandering of the belt 3.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the following effects are exhibited.
(1) An excessively meandering belt can be detected by a single detection device regardless of the direction.
(2) The structure for supporting and guiding the belt can be either a sliding plate or a roller, and can also be implemented with a guide pulley on the return path side.
(3) Even if the belt breaks and the belt is lost, it can be detected in the same manner, and the moving speed of the belt can be detected at the same time by checking the rotation speed of the roller.
