このような従来の縦型電気温風機の構成では、人体全体を暖めるようにしているため、本体101の高さが高くなり本体101の下部から上部迄の断面積がほぼ同一で、さらに本体101全体を首振りさせるので安定性が悪いとともに、占有面積が大きく、人目に付きやすいという問題があった。

本発明の縦型電気温風機は上記目的を達成するために、第1の手段は断面がほぼ楕円形状で下部より上部の断面積が従事小となる中空状で後部に吸込口を設け、前部に狭角度に開口した吐出口を形成した本体と、前記吸込口から吸気し、吹出口から吹出す空気流路に設けられたファンモーターと、このファンモーターと吹出口間の空気流路に設けられたセラミックヒーターと、前記吹出口に可動自在に設けられた風向変更用のルーバーと、前記本体の上部後面に形成された持運び用の手掛け部とを備え、前記本体の高さをほぼひざの高さに形成した構成とする。

また、第2の手段は風向変更用のルーバーをタイミングモーターで一定範囲往復運動せしめる構成とする。

本発明は上記した第1の手段の構成により、ファンモーターから送風された空気がセラミックヒーターで加熱され、狭角度の吹出口から局部的に温風が吹出され、椅子に座っている場合には足元から腰あたりまで効率良く暖められる。

そして、本体は順次上部側の断面積が小さくなっているので安定性が良く、セラミックヒーターも内部に収納されているので暖房機として人目に付きにくくなる。

また、第2の手段の構成により、局部的な暖房でありながら、ルーバーが自動的に首振動作を行うので人体に強弱の温風が加わり、常時局部的に加熱された場合のように異常な熱さを感じることなく心地良い採暖を得ることができる。

以下、本発明の一実施例について図1〜図4を参照しながら説明する。

図に示すように、断面がほぼ楕円形状で下部より上部の断面積が順次小さくなる中空状で後部に吸込口1を設け、前部に狭角度に開口した吸出口2を形成した本体3を台4の上に設け、本体3の高さをほぼ人のひざの高さに設定する。
