従来、この種の箱形パッケージpは図11に示すようにティーバッグ等の内容物を充填した後、上端の開口部を両側の張出し部ごと突合わせて熱シールs閉塞し、これを一側に折り倒してから両側の張り出し部を箱形パッケージpの両側外面に折り当てして外側から熱加圧を加えて両側外面に溶着するようにしてきたものである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、折り当てした張出し部を外側から熱加圧にて両側外面に溶着すると張出し部の外面も溶けて溶着じわχが生ずるという課題があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明はコンベア上にて、箱形パッケージ内に定数個づつのティーバッグ等を順次充填し、該箱形パッケージの上端開口部を両側の張出し部とともに突合わせてシール閉塞して一側に折り倒し、該張出し部を箱形パッケージの側面に折り当てて該側面に熱加圧溶着するようにしたティーバッグ等のパッケージ方法において、シール閉塞して一側に折り倒した該張出し部を下支えバーにて下支えして垂れ下がりを防止するようにして、予熱具を該張出し部の垂れ下がりによる障害を受けずに側方から前進させて該箱形パッケージの側面に予熱を与えて溶着可能な半溶融の状態とし、次いで下動する折込み具により下支えを解かれた該張出し部を該側面に折り当て、該張出し部の外面が溶けない程度に熱を加えた押し加熱具にて該張出し部を押して該張出し部の内面を該側面に溶着し、該張出し部の外面に溶けによる溶着じわを生じさせないようにして、かかる課題を解決したのである。

【発明の実施の形態】
箱形パッケージ1は図1に示すようにティーバッグtなどの内容物を10個等の定数個にて順次充填して後、上端の開口部1aを帯状に突合わせて閉塞シール1bする。1c,1cは閉塞シール1bの両側に突出した張出し部、1dは開封後の開閉に用する開閉チャック帯である。

本発明の装置は図2に示すようにコンベア2の上方の位置に張出し部1c,1cを含んで閉塞シール1bを一側に折り倒すと同時に箱形パッケージ1を安定して支持するための上部押えバー3と、張出し部1c,1cを下支えする下支えバー4a,4bとを設け、コンベア2の両側方に進退自在に設けた2組の予熱具5a,5bと、張出し部1c,1cを箱形パッケージ1の側面に折り当てするために上下動する折込み具6a,6bと、張出し部1c,1cの戻り上がりを抑える挟み案内レール7a,7bを備え、折り当てた張出し部1c,1cの内面を箱形パッケージ1の側面に溶着する2組の押し加熱具8a,8b、および折り倒しされた閉塞シール部1bを箱形パッケージ1の上面上に隙間なく押し付けするための上面押え具9を設けている。

コンベア2上を並列して間歇走行する箱形パッケージ1は、上端開口部より定数個づつのティーバッグ等を順次充填し、次いで上端開口部を両側の張出し部とともにシール閉塞し、図3乃至図4に示すように上部押えバー3にて閉塞シール部1bを両側の張出し部1c,1cごと一側に折り倒し押さえして且つ下支えバー4a,4bにて張出し部1c,1cの下面を支えて垂れ下がりを防止する安定した姿勢状態にしておいて、側方から前進する予熱具5a,5bにより箱形パッケージ1の両側面1e,1eの一部に予熱を与えて溶着可能な半溶融の状態とするのである。下支えバー4a,4bにて張出し部1c,1cを下支えして垂れ下がりを防止するようにしたので、予熱具3a,3bは障害なく前進して箱形パッケージ1の両側面に予熱を与えて溶着可能な半溶融の状態にすることができる。なお図2では予熱具は2組において設けているが1組または3組等において設けることもある。

次いで張出し部1c,1cは下支えバー4a,4bによる下支えが解かれ、下動する折込み具6a,6bにて箱形パッケージ1の両側面すなわち溶着可能な半溶融の状態にある側面1e,1eに折り当てられ、案内レール7a,7bにて張出し部1c,1cの戻り上がりを抑え、ほぼ同時に下動する上面押え具9にて図7乃至図8に示すように閉塞シール1bを箱型パッケージ1の上面上に押し付けておいて案内レール7a,7bの切欠部から前進する押し加熱具8a,8aにより張出し部1c,1cを該両側面1e,1eに押し付けて張出し部1c,1cの内面を該側面に溶着させるのである。この際押し加熱具8a,8bは2度押しして溶着を安定させ、しかも押し加熱具8a,8bは張出し部1c,1cの外面が溶けない程度に熱が加えられているので、張出し部1c,1cの外面は溶けることがなく、従って溶着じわを作らないこととなる。なお本発明はその後に溶着部の温度を下げて箱形パッケージを迅速に固定化させる冷却装置(図示してない)を備えることもある。

【発明の効果】
本発明は以上のようにしてシール閉塞した張出し部を箱形パッケージの側面に折り当てる前に該張出し部を下支えバーにて下支えして垂れ下がり防止するようにしたので、予熱具は張出し部の垂れ下がりによる障害を受けずに前進して箱形パッケージの両側面に予熱を与えて溶着可能な半溶融の状態とし、然る後下支えを解かれた張出し部を該側面に折り当てて外面が溶けない程度の熱をもった押し加熱具にて該張出し部を押し溶着するようにしたので、張出し部は外面が溶けず、従って外面に溶着じわを作らずに内面のみが側面に溶着して、外観を極めて良好とする箱形パッケージを提供することができるという効果を生ずる。
