本発明は、前述したヒータの断線原因が不明ではあったが、ヒータの断線がみられたラジアントヒータのサポータには、共通して、クラックがみられることに着目し、サポータに対する改良を加えた。しかし、ヒータの断線が解消されないことから、次に、サポータの姿勢を一定に保つことを試みた結果、ヒータの断線事故をなくすことに成功した。このサポータを一定姿勢に保つ最良の手段として、本発明は、スペーサにフランジ部を設け、スペーサとサポータの当接面を大きくする手段を採用する。
