本発明は天井に設けたレールに吊設されて移動する移動壁であって、回転機能を備えた移動壁に関するものである。

移動壁は天井に設けている天井レールに吊設されて所定の場所へ移動することが出来、複数枚の移動壁を配列することで大きな空間が仕切られる。移動壁の上端には吊車が取着されて天井レールに沿って移動することが出来、そして所定の位置で動かないように固定する為の圧接装置が備わっている。このような移動壁は色々あって、大きなものでは重さ数トンにも達する。

ところで、このような移動壁にて仕切られた空間に出入りする為に、該移動壁の一部にドアを備えている場合がある。ドアは間口側端に設けている蝶番やヒンジなどを介して開閉することが出来るが、従来形式のドアでは多数の人が一時に出入りするには適さない。例えば、移動壁で仕切られた大きなホールでイベントを行う場合に、該移動壁に備えられているドアでは人の出入りに時間がかかって不便な場合が多い。勿論、移動壁であるから人の出入りの際には各移動壁を他の場所に移動して大きな出入り口空間を作ることも出来るが、それでは余りにも不便である。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このように、従来の移動壁に備わっているドアでは多くの人が出入りするには時間がかかり非常に不便である。本発明が解決しようとする課題はこの問題点であり、空間を仕切ると同時に、移動壁自体を回転して出入り口とすることが出来る回転式移動壁を提供する。

【課題を解決する為の手段】
本発明の回転式移動壁は上端に吊車を備え、天井レールに吊設されて移動することが出来る。この点は従来の移動壁と同じであるが、本発明の移動壁は中心に設けている主軸を介して回転することが出来る。そして、移動壁は回転パネルと框パネルからなり、框パネルの上端に吊車が取着され、回転パネルは框パネルの下方に主軸(上主軸)を介して回動可能に連結されている。

そして回転パネルは上記上主軸を介して框パネルに吊設され、同時に上主軸を中心として回転することが出来るようになっているが、回転パネルの回動を防止する為に回転パネルの上端両サイドには固定軸を備えて上方へ突出する構造となっている。框パネル側には嵌合穴が形成されていて、突出した固定軸が嵌合穴に嵌ることで回転パネルは回動することなく框パネルと共に移動できる。
