従来、観音開き扉のシール部構造として、図1乃至図9に示すように、次の構成のものが使用されている。すなわち、10はボディ開口縁部、11はボディ開口縁部10に突設したボディ側フランジ、20はボディ側フランジ11に取付けたボディ側ウエザーストリップであって、ボディ側フランジ11に嵌着したU字状トリム部分21及びそのU字状トリム部分21に一体に結合した中空シール部分22よりなる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
解決しようとする課題は、上記従来の観音開き扉のシール部構造は、インナーウエザーストリップ6、サブシールウエザーストリップ5の取付けバラツキが重なると、シール性が損われ、ボディ側ウエザーストリップ20上面に水が溜り、その両側の三角形の隙間Sから室内側に水漏れすること、及び先閉扉30に設けたロック装置35に水・埃等が付着して、汚れ易く、扉30,40の開き時に手が汚れること等であって、本発明は上記課題を解決し、水漏れを防止すると共に、扉30,40の開き時に手が汚れない観音開き扉のシール部構造を提供するものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明は、図1・図2・図5及び図10乃至図13に示す如く、ボディ開口縁部10の上下の水平部分と、ボディ開口縁部10に取付けた一対の観音開き扉30,40の上下の見切り部との間をシールするために、先閉扉30の鉛直自由端縁部に取付けたインナーウエザーストリップ60の上下端部にそれぞれ後閉扉側に向って厚さを徐々に薄くしたヒレ部63を扉の半径方向に突設し、そのヒレ部63を、前記ボディ開口縁部10に取付けたボディ側ウエザーストリップ20の外面と弾接させるようにした観音開き扉のシール部構造であって、インナーウエザーストリップ60を車内側に取付けたところの先閉扉30の鉛直自由端縁部の車外側に、後閉扉40の鉛直自由端縁部と弾接させるところの中空状のサブシールウエザーストリップ50を並設すると共に、両ウエザーストリップ50,60を上下端部でブリッジ部70を配して一体に結合したものである。
