【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は二輪車用表皮吊り込みシートに関する。

【従来の技術】
従来から二輪車用シートは、例えば図5で示すようなシートSは、ボトムプレート上にクッション材を配置して表皮で被覆して形成されている。そして二人乗りシートは前席Sfと後席Srとを有しており、シートのデザイン等の外観意匠性を考慮して、凹凸形状シートとしたり、前席Sf及び後席Srの座面部の表皮110と、それ以外の部分の表皮120とで、表皮の材質や彩色等を異なるように構成したり、表皮の吊り込みをしたりして商品性の向上を図っている。

つまり図5で示すようなシートSにおいては、図6で示すように、クッション材122に凹部ライン122aを形成し、さらに表皮の接合部の吊り込み部分(図5の破線で示す)にターポリン130を取り付け、このターポリン130を介して吊り込み具(吊り込み紐)131でボトムプレート側へ吊り込んでいたまた吊り込み以外の部分では、図7で示すように、凹部ライン122aに表皮材の接合部分が配置される。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
そして凹凸形状を有した表皮吊り込みシートSでは、凹部ライン122aが複雑な曲線(S字曲線等を描く場合)や3次元曲線を描く場合は、図5で示すように、吊り込み個所を曲線の曲げポイント毎に多くの吊り込みポイントを設定しなければ、凸凹形状のメリハリ感が出にくいという問題があった。

しかし吊り込みポイントが増加すると局部的(吊り込んだポイントのみ)に「エクボ」のような状態が外観面に現われて外観に支障をきたすと共に、組み付け作業性の効率も悪化するという不都合があった。このため局部的な「エクボ」状の現出を抑えるとともに凹凸形状のめりはり感を保持し、且つ吊り込みポイントの数的減少化が課題となっている。

また上記のように凹凸形状を有した表皮吊り込みシートSでは、凹凸形状シートに合わせて表皮を接合する必要があり、この表皮接合ライン形状が複雑になるために、表皮を予備成形したり、複数の表皮を縫合や接合する必要があった。

つまり図8で示すように、面X,Y,Zの三面以上がぶつかり合う頂点の角R部125は、従来予備成形をしないで、一枚の表皮で被せたり、単に二枚の表皮を平面的に接合した表皮で被せると、表皮が余ってだぶつき、クッション材の形状に合わせた被覆が不可能であった。

このため、表皮を三面で形成し、この三面でつくられるいずれか1つの稜線(ハイライト線)の部分を切り込み、角R部の形状に合わせて切除した後で、図8で示すように、縫合ラインHで縫合して、角R形状に合わせて接合するという手段を採用しなければならなかった。

本発明の目的は、シート側面への表皮密着性が向上し凸凹のメリハリ感を出すことができる二輪車用表皮吊り込みシートを提供することにある。本発明の他の目的は、複雑な曲線形状の稜線(ハイライト線)における表皮の接合部をなくして、外観商品性の向上とコストの削減が可能な二輪車用表皮吊り込みシートを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明に係る二輪車用表皮吊り込みシートは、ボトムプレート上にクッション材を配置して表皮で被覆してなる二人乗り用の二輪車用シートであって、前記表皮は前席及び後席の座面部に配置される第1表皮材と座面部以外に配置される第2表皮材を接合して形成され、前記後席の座面部の後方側は前記後席に配置された第1表皮材で端末まで被覆されると共にボトムプレート裏面で端末処理され、前記後席に配置された第1表皮材と第2表皮材との接合部のうちシート中央から側面への接合部は、蛇行した曲線形状となっており、前記後席に配置された第1表皮材と第2表皮材との接合部には、端末の手前位置までターポリンを配設し、前記クッション材の表面側には前記後席に配置された第1表皮材と第2表皮材の接合ラインに合わせた凹部ラインを形成し、少なくとも前記後席の座面部凹部ラインに沿って前記ターポリンが配設された接合部を配置し、前記接合部のうちシート中央の範囲内のターポリンを介して接合部を吊り込み具によって、吊り込んでなることを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
本例に係る二輪車用シートSを、前席Sfと後席Srを有する二人乗り用のシートで説明する。本例の二輪車用シートは、ボトムプレート1上にクッション材2を配置して表皮3で被覆して形成されている。

本例のボトムプレート1は一枚ものの合成樹脂材で構成されており、前席Sfと後席Srを一体で支えるものである。そして前席Sfより後席Sr側が高い位置となるように、前席Sfと後席Srとの間に段差部4を有して形成されている。

クッション材2は上記ボトムプレート1の上に載置されるものであり、ボトムプレート1の形状に合わせて、段差部4を介して、前席Sf側が低く、後席Sr側が高くなるように形成されている。

さらにクッション材2の表面には、図4の一点鎖線で示すように、後席の座面部を被覆する第1表皮材10と座面部以外を被覆する第2表皮材20との接合部に相当する部分に凹部ライン2aを形成している。

表皮3は、前席及び後席の座面部を被覆する第1表皮材10と座面部以外を被覆する第2表皮材20とから構成されており、第1表皮材10は前席Sfと後席Srの各座面部に配置され、第2表皮材20は前席Sfと後席Srの各座面部以外に配置されるものである。

上記蛇行した曲線形状となった後席Sr側の第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20との接合部のうち、後席Srの座面側との接合部近傍がクッション材2の角R部5となっている。そして、第1表皮材10と前記第2表皮材20は、クッション材2の各角R部5を被覆する部分に相当する外周側又は内周側の各周長を変えて、第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20を接合している。

そして第2表皮材20は伸縮性の良いレザーを使用している。このため、クッション材2の角R部5を表皮3で被覆したときに、表皮3の被覆量が不足するが、第2表皮材20が伸長して、不足量をカバーする。

また後席Sr側の第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20との接合部には、ターポリン30が配設されており、このターポリン30は、図1で示すように、端末の手前位置まで配設されている。このターポリン30の所定位置には吊り込み具としての吊り込みループ31が配置されている。

吊り込みループ31の配置位置は、図1で示すように、後席Sr側の第1表皮材10における凸状部11の中心位置と、凸状部11の両方の角部の合計3カ所に形成している。この吊り込みループ31の形成位置は、前記したクッション材2の吊り込み用の穴2bと一致するように取り付けられている。

そして組み付けは、先ずクッション材2の表面側に形成された凹部ライン2aに前記第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20の接合ラインを合わせて配置する。次にクッション材2に形成された吊り込み用の穴2bを介して吊り込みループ31によりボトムプレート1側へ、第1表皮材10及び第2表皮材20の接合部(ターポリン30)を吊り込む。

以上のように構成されているので、吊り込み部分が、第1表皮材10の凸状部11の中心位置と凸状部11の角部の3カ所だけでの吊り込みにも拘わらず、凹部ライン2aが露見し、シャープな形状出しが可能となる。

また同時に、ボトムプレート1の端末まで凹部ライン2aが延長されているので、表皮3の凹部ライン2aがシート端末処理により側面へ密着して、形状出しが側面まで可能となり、シートSの側面への表皮3の密着性が向上し、凹凸メリハリ感を出すことができる。

さらに第1表皮材10と前記第2表皮材20は、クッション材2の各角R部5を被覆する部分に相当する外周側又は内周側の各周長を変えて、第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20を接合しており、第2表皮材20は伸縮性の良いレザーを使用している。このため、クッション材2の角R部5を表皮3で被覆したときに、表皮3の被覆量が不足するが、第2表皮材20が伸長して、不足量をカバーする。そして複雑な曲線形状の稜線(ハイライト線)における表皮の接合部をなくして、外観商品性の向上とコストの削減が可能となる。

【実施例】
以下、本発明の一実施例を図面に基づいて説明する。なお、以下に説明する部材,配置等は本発明を限定するものでなく、本発明の趣旨の範囲内で種々改変することができるものである。

本実施例では、二輪車用シートとして二人乗り用シートを例にして説明するが、本発明は一人乗り用シートであっても良いことは勿論である。そして図1乃至図4は本発明に係る実施例を示すものであり、図1は二輪車用シートの説明斜視図、図2は図1のA−A断面図、図3は図1のB−B断面図、図4は図1の要部拡大説明図である。

本例に係る二輪車用シートSは、前席Sfと後席Srを有する二人乗り用のシートであり、ボトムプレート1上にクッション材2を配置して表皮3で被覆して形成されている。

本例のボトムプレート1は一枚ものの合成樹脂材で構成されており、前席Sfと後席Srを一体で支えるものである。そして前席Sfより後席Sr側が高い位置となるように、前席Sfと後席Srとの間に段差部4を有して形成されている。上記ボトムプレート1の材質は合成樹脂に限定されるものではなく、金属製のものも用いることもできる。また前席Sfと後席Srとを支えるのに分割されたボトムプレートを用いることもできる。

本例のクッション材2は上記ボトムプレート1の上に載置されるものであり、ボトムプレート1の形状に合わせて前席Sf側が低く、後席Sr側が高くなるように形成されている。そして本例のクッション材2は、前席Sfと後席Srとの間の段差部4に合わせて形成されており、後席Sr側の段差部4の上部の両側は角R部5として形成された複雑な曲線形状となって形成されている。

さらにクッション材2の表面には、図4の一点鎖線で示すように、後述する座面部を被覆する第1表皮材10と、座面部以外を被覆する第2表皮材20との接合部に相当する部分に凹部ライン2aを形成している。つまり表皮3でクッション材2を被覆したときの第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20との接合部に相当する位置に凹部ライン2aを形成する。本例におけるクッション材2に形成された凹部ライン2aは、ボトムプレート1の端末まで達している。そして本例では、前席Sfと後席Srとの間の前席Sf側寄りの部分に吊り込み用の穴2bが3カ所形成されている。

なお上記ボトムプレート1が前席Sfと後席Srの高さがあまり違わなくても、前席Sfと後席Srのクッション材2の高さを違えるように構成することにより、前席Sfと後席Srの段差部4や角R部5等を形成することができる。

本例の表皮3は、第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20とから構成されており、第1表皮材10は前席Sfと後席Srの各座面部に配置され、第2表皮材20は、前席Sfと後席Srの各座面部以外に配置されるものである。これら第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20は、材質や彩色が異なるもので、本例では防水の観点や熱熱溶着等を考慮して、PVCや人工レザー等から構成されており、接合は例えば高周波ウエルダ加工、超音波溶着等により行われる。なお、一人乗り用シートの場合には、上記後席側の第1表皮材10は、座面部が形成されないため、ライダーの座面部の後方を被せる第3表皮材として構成される。

後席Srを被覆する第1表皮材10は、後席Srの側面から端末まで被覆して、ボトムプレート1の裏面で図示しないタッカー等により端末処理されている。従って、座面部までをカバーする第1表皮材10がシート側面での密着性を充分確保する。

また後席Sr側の第1表皮材10は、図1で示すように、凸状部11が形成されて、前席Sfと後席Srとを連結する連結部側である段差部4へ突出して形成されている。そして第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20との接合部のうち中央から側面側へ連なる接合部は、角R部に向けて蛇行した曲線形状(本例ではS字形状)となっている。

本例では上記蛇行した曲線形状となった後席Sr側の第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20との接合部のうち、後席Srの座面側との接合部近傍がクッション材2の角R部5となっている。そして、第1表皮材10と前記第2表皮材20の接合における曲線形状の部分を、クッション材2の角R部5の形状に合わせて接合する際に、第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20のクッション材2の各角R部5を被覆する部分に相当する外周側又は内周側の各周長を変えて、第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20を接合している。つまり本例では、第2表皮材20の周長を、円弧形状を大きくすることで、第1表皮材10の周長より少なくしている。

本例の第2表皮材20は伸縮性の良いレザーを使用している。本例では0.8mmの厚さのPVCソフトレザーを使用している。このため、クッション材2の角R部5を表皮3で被覆したときに、表皮3の被覆量が不足するが、第2表皮材20が伸長して、不足量をカバーする。従って、図4で示すように、クッション材2の角R部5の頂点は表皮3により潰されるが、従来のような余分な余った表皮3の部分を切除して稜線(ハイライト線)の接合部により合わせて形成することをせずに、複雑な曲線形状のクッション材2を表皮3で被覆することができるために、外観商品性の向上が図れると共に、接合工程を少なくすることができ、コストの低減を図ることが可能となった。なお表皮材20の材質はPVCに限定されることなく耐候性を備えた伸縮性の良いものを使用できる。

また後席Sr側の第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20との接合部には、ターポリン30が配設されており、このターポリン30は、図1で示すように、端末の手前位置まで配設されている。このターポリン30は第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20を溶着するときに、同時に溶着するものであり、所定位置には吊り込み具としての吊り込みループ31が配置されている。

本例の吊り込みループ31の配置位置は、図1で示すように、後席Sr側の第1表皮材10における凸状部11の中心位置と、凸状部11の両方の角部の合計3カ所に形成している。この吊り込みループ31の形成位置は、前記したクッション材2の吊り込み用の穴2bと一致するように取り付けられている。

なお吊り込みループ31は、ターポリン30に予め配設しておいてもよく、あるいはターポリン30の部分に後付して形成してもよい。いずれの場合でもターポリン30の部分だけに吊り込みループ31の配設用の穴(図示せず)を形成し、吊り込みループ31を配設するものである。

次に上記構成からなる組み付けについて説明する。クッション材2の表面側に形成された凹部ライン2aに前記第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20の接合ラインを合わせて配置する。そしてクッション材2に形成された吊り込み用の穴2bを介して吊り込みループ31によりボトムプレート1側へ、第1表皮材10及び第2表皮材20の接合部(ターポリン30)を吊り込む。

このとき少なくとも後席Sr側の接合ラインにはターポリン30が形成されており、第1表皮材10と第2表皮材20の接合部とターポリン30が、上記凹部ライン2a内に位置するために、吊り込み部分が、第1表皮材10の凸状部11の中心位置と凸状部11の角部の3カ所だけでの吊り込みにも拘わらず、凹部ライン2aが露見し、シャープな形状出しが可能となる。

また同時に、ボトムプレート1の端末まで凹部ライン2aが延長されているので、表皮3の凹部ライン2aがシート端末処理により側面へ密着して、形状出しが側面まで可能となり、シートSの側面への表皮3の密着性が向上し、凹凸メリハリ感を出すことができる。

なお吊り込みループ31による吊り込みは、図示しないが、ボトムプレート1に係止部を形成し、この係止部と係合するホック等により、ボトムプレート1側へ引き込んで行う。また係止部はボトムプレート1に穴を形成し、吊り込みループ31を係止部材に係合させて、上記穴に係止部材を係合するように構成することもできる。

なお、本発明は次の態様を含むものである。ボトムプレート上にクッション材を配置して表皮で被覆してなる二人乗り用の二輪車用シートであって、前記表皮は前席及び後席の座面部に配置される第1表皮材と、前記座面部以外に配置される第2表皮材を接合して形成され、前記後席の座面部の後方側は前記後席に配置された第1表皮材で端末まで被覆されると共にボトムプレート裏面で端末処理され、前記後席に配置された第1表皮材と第2表皮材との接合部のうちシート中央から側面への接合部は、蛇行した曲線形状となっており、前記後席に配置された第1表皮材と第2表皮材との接合部には、端末の手前位置までターポリンを配設し、前記クッション材の表面側には前記後席に配置された第1表皮材と第2表皮材の接合ラインに合わせた凹部ラインを形成し、少なくとも前記後席の座面部凹部ラインに沿って前記ターポリンが配設された接合部を配置し、前記接合部のうちシート中央の範囲内のターポリンを介して接合部を吊り込み具によって、吊り込んでなることを特徴とする二輪車用表皮吊り込みシート。

【発明の効果】
以上のように本発明によれば、吊り込み部分が、第1表皮材の凸状部の中心位置と、凸状部の両角部の3カ所だけでの吊り込みにも拘わらず、凹部ラインが露見し、シャープな形状出しが可能となる。

また同時に、ボトムプレート端末まで凹部ラインが延長されているので、表皮の凹部ラインがシート端末処理により側面へ密着して、形状出しが側面まで可能となり、シートの側面への表皮の密着性が向上し、凹凸メリハリ感を出すことができる。特に座面部の後方側を被覆する第3表皮材が、座面部の後方側の側面から端末まで被覆して、ボトムプレート裏面で端末処理されているのと相俟って、シート側面の密着性と凹部ラインと吊り込みとで、より一層の凹凸メリハリ感を確保することができる。
