本発明は、家具等を軽快に移動することができるようにした家具移動装置に関し、特に、家具等の荷重支持部に昇降可能に配設した移動車輪を、1箇所の操作にて同時に昇降させて、家具を常に水平を保持させながら安全に移動できるようにした家具移動装置に関するものである。

従来、家具を簡易に移動させる装置として、家具の台座下部に、摺動抵抗の小なる材質、例えば、合成樹脂製の板状の滑り具を挿入して家具を移動させる装置、あるいは複数の移動車輪を家具の台座下部に組み込み、この移動車輪を1つずつ操作して家具を持ち上げて移動させるようにした装置等が提案されている。
