本発明は、複数電線への印字方法および装置に関するものである。なお、本明細書において印字とは、電線表面に施す文字、記号、マーク等であって電線を識別するために付される全てのものをいう。

例えば自動車内の配線に使用されるワイヤーハーネスは、多数の電線を束ねたものであり、各電線には電線識別のための印字が施されている。

本発明に係る複数電線への印字方法は、複数の電線を並列状態に固定した後、これらの電線を整直し、しかる後、整直した電線間及び複数の電線の最外端に壁を作った状態で複数の電線に印字を施すことを特徴とするものである。

以下、本発明の実施の形態を図面を参照して詳細に説明する。
図1はワイヤーハーネスの加工の途中である、複数の電線1をコネクタ2(通常圧接コネクタが使用される)に並列状態に接続した状態を示している。
