しかし、これらのものにあっては、いずれも被加工面の傾斜面に対して水準器を2次元で調整できても、傾斜角度を3次元で可変に設定できるものでなく、また他のドリルに取り付けられて自由に利用できるものでなく、多様な被加工面に対して自在に適用できるものが要望されていた。
