上記課題を解決するために、請求項1記載の本発明のシャープペンシルのノックカバーは、替芯収容部の開口端に脱着自在に設けられた樹脂射出成形よりなるノックカバーにおいて、その頂端面の一部に肉厚以上の深さの陥没面を設けて、その陥没面と頂端面との段差部分に横孔を開設して窒息を防止し、芯パイプ内の替芯の抜け落ちの防止を図ると共に、その陥没面に金型の樹脂注入ゲート部を設定して射出成形され、上記陥没面は、上記頂端面の中央部を横断するように一直線状に設けられていることを特徴とする。

【作用】
本発明のノックカバーは、芯パイプから外したときに、一端の開口から内部に入った空気が、他端の頂端面と陥没面との段差部分に開設した横孔を通って外部に出るので、両端間の空気の流通が確保されることになり、誤って飲み込んで喉に詰まっても窒息することがない。

また、本発明のノックカバーを芯パイプに嵌着した状態で、シャープペンシルを上下反転させると、替芯はノックカバーの頂端面又は陥没面により受け止められることになり、また、ノックカバーに設けた横孔は落下方向に対して垂直な水平方向に開口しているので、替芯が横孔を通って抜け落ちる虞が少ない。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図を用いて本発明の実施の形態について説明する。まず、図1乃至図3は第1の実施形態を示したものである。図1及び図2に示すように、ノックカバー1の頂端面2の中央部を横断するように一直線状に陥没面3を設けていて、頂端面2は2分割されている。陥没面3の深さ、すなわち、頂端面2から陥没面3までの距離は頂端面2の肉厚より少し大きく、頂端面2と陥没面3の段差部分に横孔4が開設されている。そして、このノックカバー1は樹脂成形品であり、その頂端面2の陥没面3に金型の樹脂注入ゲート部16を設定して射出成形されたものである。

本発明のノックカバーは上記の構成を有することにより、芯パイプから外した状態で誤って飲み込んだ場合の窒息を防止できる効果があり、又、芯パイプに嵌着した状態において芯パイプからの替芯の抜け落ちを防止できると共に、頂端面における陥没面の割合を小さくすることができ、上記頂端面を指で押圧することが容易でノック操作がし易い筆記芯繰り出し部位を形成することができる。また、本発明のノックカバーは上記のように構造が簡単なので、比較的外径が大きなものでも、容易に且つ安価に製造できる利点がある。また、本発明のノックカバーは、樹脂を材料として金型により射出成形する場合に、注入ゲート部を陥没部分に設けるので、金型作成上、又は成形品の外観上も都合が良いという利点がある。すなわち、金型の樹脂注入ゲート跡が残っても目立たないので外観の見映えが良い。
