本発明の照明器具は上述のように構成してあるから、請求項1記載の発明にあっては、規制凸部の突出方向内側に該規制凸部の前後方向厚みより厚い付加機能用透光パネルを前記保護パネルに接するように配設し、前記規制凸部の前方面近傍に溝部を設けるとともに、前記付加機能用透光パネルを前方側から押圧係止する係止バネを前記溝部に係合配設したので、係止バネが付加機能用透光パネルを押圧して、付加機能用透光パネルと保護パネルとが密着するので、付加機能用透光パネルと保護パネルとの間に空気層がなく、灯具本体内で生じた熱は付加機能用透光パネルからも放熱され、灯具本体の温度上昇を抑制することができるという効果を奏する。
