Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle signal lamp, and more particularly to a signal lamp suitable for a turn signal lamp installed on the rear surface of a vehicle body.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A turn signal lamp a as shown in FIG. 3 is installed on the rear surface of the vehicle body. This turn signal lamp a includes a reflector using a light distribution control means and a double structure lens. In the latter case, there is a structure in which bulb light is transmitted through a green inner lens and a pink outer lens to obtain amber mixed light (this similar structure is disclosed in, for example, Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 8-64015). Is disclosed).
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Incidentally, the turn signal lamp a is generally installed on the rear surface 3 of the vehicle body along the bent side surface 2 thereof. Moreover, the part which attaches the turn signal lamp | ramp a of the vehicle body rear surface 3 may bulge back partly on restrictions of the drawing depth at the time of shaping | molding. In such a case, the bulb light hits this bulging portion, and the light beam irradiation to the bent end portion of the inner / outer lens is blocked. In the part where this light irradiation is blocked, the bulb light travels to the terminal side while repeating total reflection, but in the case of a turn signal lamp using a double lens of different colors, the inner lens has insufficient green color As a result, it becomes a reddish color.
[0004]
In view of such circumstances, an object of the present invention is to provide a vehicular signal lamp that can obtain a normal emission color even at bent ends of an inner lens and an outer lens having different colors.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention for solving the above-mentioned problems is a vehicle signal lamp that includes an inner lens and an outer lens of different colors, and is installed on the front and rear surfaces of the vehicle body along the side surfaces of the vehicle body. The bent end portion is thickened near the irradiation limit where the light beam from the bulb is not irradiated, and the light transmission length is made larger than the light transmission length of the light irradiation portion, so that the end of the outer lens extends from the inner lens. It is characterized in that the density of light incident on the part is increased .
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a vehicular signal lamp including an inner lens and an outer lens having different colors, and the bent end portions of the lenses are disposed on the front and rear surfaces of the vehicle body along the side surface of the vehicle body. A plurality of ribs are integrally formed near the irradiation limit where the light beam from the bulb does not irradiate, so that the light beam from the bulb is transmitted through the rib, and the light transmission length is irradiated. It is characterized in that the density of light incident on the end of the outer lens from the inner lens is increased by making it longer than the light transmission length of the portion.
[0006]
According to such a configuration, the density of the inner lens colored light of the light incident on the bent end portion of the outer lens is increased, so that light emission in which the inner outer lens colored light is mixed at an appropriate ratio can be obtained.
[0009]
【The invention's effect】
According to the present invention, since the density of the inner lens colored light of the light incident on the bent end of the outer lens is increased, light emission in which the inner outer lens colored light is mixed at an appropriate ratio is obtained, and the occurrence of the discoloration is obtained. Can be prevented.
[0010]
Further, the molding Lee N'narenzu is facilitated, the cost advantage.
[0011]
Further, when the structure as in claim 2 is used, the concentration of the colored light of the inner lens is further increased, so that not only the discoloration is difficult to occur, but also the change in the thickness due to the heat shrinkage at the time of molding the inner lens is small. Therefore, it becomes easy to obtain desired colored light accurately.
[0012]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
[0013]
FIG. 3 shows an automobile equipped with the vehicle signal lamp of the present invention. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a turn signal lamp as a vehicle signal lamp, and a bent end portion thereof is installed on the rear surface 3 of the vehicle body along the side surface 2 of the vehicle body. As shown in FIG. 1, the turn signal lamp 1 has a housing 4 fixed to a rear fender panel 5 that constitutes vehicle body side rear surfaces 2 and 3. The rear fender panel 5 bulges a portion adjacent to the vehicle body side surface 2 of the vehicle body rear surface 3 rearward due to restriction of the drawing depth during molding. The housing 4 also has a bulging portion 7 formed at a location corresponding to the bulging portion 6 of the rear fender panel 5. A valve 8 is attached to the housing 4 using a fixture 9.
[0014]
A green inner lens 10 and a pink outer lens 11 are attached to the opening of the housing 4. A thick portion 12 is formed at the end of the inner lens 10 so as to straddle the irradiation limit L where the light beam from the bulb 8 hits the bulging portion 7 of the housing 4 and is not irradiated.
[0015]
Since the present embodiment is configured as described above, the light beam from the bulb 8 is blocked by the bulging portion 7 of the housing 4 and is not irradiated to the end portions of the inner and outer lenses 10 and 11. Among these, in the non-irradiated portion of the outer lens 11 (the portion in front of the irradiation limit L), since the bulb light travels toward the terminal side while repeating total reflection, conventionally, the green color of the inner lens 10 is In the present embodiment, the inner lens 10 is provided with a thick portion 12 so that a green light beam having a high density is incident on the end portion of the outer lens 11. Therefore, it is possible to obtain amber light emission in which green and pink light beams are mixed at an appropriate ratio.
[0016]
In the present embodiment, the thick portion 12 is formed at the end of the inner lens 10, but as shown in FIG. 2, a plurality of ribs 13 are integrated with the inner lens 10 so as to face the irradiation limit L. You may shape | mold. In this way, the light transmission length of the inner lens 10 is increased, and the density of the green color incident on the outer lens 11 is further increased. Therefore, not only is the color change difficult to occur, but also the heat shrinkage at the time of molding the inner lens 10. Therefore, the desired colored light can be easily obtained.
[0017]
Needless to say, the present invention is not limited to the above-described turn signal lamp 1 but can be applied to other signal lamps.
