カウンターウエイトは、図7に示すように、断面コ字状の左右の竪枠1,2、この竪枠1,2の上下端を連結した上枠3、下枠4からなるロ字状の枠5に複数の単位ウエイト6を積み込んだ構成になっており、この上枠3に主ロープ7を連結してカウンターウエイトを吊持している。

このカウンターウエイトは、通常据付現場で枠5を組み立て、この枠5の正面から単位ウエイト6を積み込んでいく。このとき、単位ウエイト6は斜めにして枠5内に入れ、その両端を竪枠1,2に挿入して横に積み重ねていく。そして上枠3に主ロープ7を連結する、という手順で据え付けられる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前記構成であるため、枠5内の上部には単位ウエイト6を斜めに入れるための作業スペースAが必要となり、枠5を小型化することができないという問題があった。

本発明は、単位ウエイト、又は単位ウエイトより厚さの薄い補助ウエイトが通過できる空間を上枠に設け、一部のウエイトをこの空間から積み込むことにより前記の作業スペースを縮小するものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の実施の形態を図1〜図4により説明する。図1はカウンターウエイトの正面図、図2は図1の平面図、図3は図2のB−B部分断面図、図4は補助ウエイトである。
図において、10は補助ウエイトであり、その長さL、幅Wは単位ウエイト6と同一で、厚さTのみが単位ウエイトより小さくなっている。この実施形態ではT<W<Lとしている。11は上枠3に設けた空間で、その長さLFは前記ウエイト10の長さL以上であり、その幅WFは前記ウエイト10の厚さT以上である。

本実施形態におけるカウンターウエイトの据え付けは、据付現場で枠5を組み立て、従来と同様に枠5の正面から単位ウエイト6を積み込んでいく。そして、単位ウエイト6を所定数積み込んだら、その上に補助ウエイト10を正面から積み込む。
枠5内の空間が埋まり、正面からの積み込みが不可能になると、図3に示すように補助ウエイト10を縦にして空間11から挿入し、枠5内に入ったら横にして既に積み込んだ補助ウエイト10の上に積み重ねていく。

本実施形態は前記の構成であるから、従来のように枠5内の作業スペースAは不要である。後に主ロープ7を連結するためのスペースは残しておく必要はあるが、従来に比べそのスペースは大幅に小さくなり、従って枠5を小型化できる。

次に本発明の他の実施の形態を図5,図6により説明する。図5は図1に相当する図、図6は図5の平面図である。この実施形態の前記実施形態との相違点は主ロープ7をカウンターウエイトの下部に連結してあることである。

この実施形態であれば、枠5内に主ロープ7を連結するためのスペースを残す必要がないため、より多くのウエイト6,10の積み込みが可能となり、枠5をより小型化できる。
更に本実施形態では、上枠3に主ロープ7を連結しないため上面を全て開放できる。そうすると、図3のようにウエイト10を縦にしなくとも、そのまま積み込むことができるため、枠5一杯にウエイト6,10を積み込むことができるとともに、積み込み作業も容易になる。また図4において、W<Tという寸法のウエイトでも積み込みが可能になる。

以上説明したように、本発明によれば、限られた枠内に多くのウエイトを積み込むことができるため無駄がなく、枠の小型化を実現することができる。
