【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、チャットが行えるチャットシステム、及び、そのようなチャットシステムを構築するためのサーバ装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
周知のように、近年、インターネットを利用したチャット（複数の者が書き込みによって会話を行うこと；オンライン・トーク、リアルタイム会議などとも呼ばれている）が盛んに行われるようになっている。

また、コンピュータに会話の相手をさせるための会話プログラム（“人工無能”とも呼ばれている）が、チャットの参加者となっているチャットルームも存在している。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、従来のチャットルームでは、会話プログラムが、無人のチャットルームを無くすためなど、チャットルームの管理者的な使われ方をしており、従来のチャットルームは、会話プログラムがチャットの活性化のためには余り役だっていないものとなっていた。

そこで、本発明の課題は、会話プログラム（コンピュータにチャットの相手をさせる技術）がチャットの活性化のためにより効果的に使用されたサーバ装置、チャットシステムを提供することにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために、本発明では、複数台のコンピュータと通信媒体により接続されて使用されるサーバ装置を、複数のユーザのそれぞれが自身のコンピュータを利用してアクセスでき、そこでなされた発言が、アクセスしている各ユーザに通知されるチャットルームを提供するチャットルーム提供手段と、複数のユーザのそれぞれについて、そのユーザのハンドル名とは異なる第２ハンドル名を記憶した第２ハンドル名記憶手段と、チャットルームにてなされた発言のログを取るログ手段と、予め設定されたいずれかの発言条件を満たした会話がチャットルームにて行われたときに、その時点においてチャットルームにアクセスしているいずれかのユーザについて第２ハンドル名記憶手段に記憶されている第２ハンドル名を発言者名として、ログ手段により記録されているログに基づき、そのユーザが過去に参加したチャットの内容並びに満たされた発言条件に応じた発言をチャットルームにて行う自動発言手段と、それぞれ、複数のユーザのいずれかに対応づけられ、対応づけられたユーザとは異なる何名かのユーザに関するアドレス情報として、各ユーザの電子メールアドレスを保持した複数の友達リストを記憶する友達リスト記憶手段と、所定の要求を受信したときに、その要求を出したユーザに対応づけられて友達リスト記憶手段に記憶された友達リスト内の情報を、その要求を出したコンピュータに返送する要求応答手段と、友達リスト記憶手段に記憶されたいずれの友達リストにおいても対応づけられていない２ユーザに関して、チャットルームへのアクセスに関係する所定の条件が満たされたときに、当該２ユーザのそれぞれのコンピュータに、他方のユーザに関する情報の友達リストへの登録を促すメッセージを表示させる登録勧告手段と、あるユーザからの第２ハンドル名記憶手段に記憶された第２ハンドル名の消去の要求を受信したときに、当該ユーザに対応づけられて友達リスト記憶手段に記憶された友達リストに保持されたアドレス情報を宛先とした電子メールを送信するメール送信手段とを備えるものとする。

すなわち、本発明のサーバ装置が備える自動発言手段は、あるユーザに対応づけられた第２ハンドル名で、そのユーザが過去に参加したチャットの内容に応じた内容の発言を行う機能を有する。換言すれば、本発明のサーバ装置は、各ユーザが、自身と同じ経験をし、話をすることが出来る電子ペットと共に、チャットルームに入室しているような形態でチャットが行える構成を有する。従って、本サーバ装置を用いれば、各ユーザが忘れているようなことも、チャットルームに入室している各ユーザに対応づけられた第２ハンドル名で発言されることになり、その結果として、チャットを活性化することができることになる。また、友達リスト記憶手段，メール送信手段等を備えた装置であるため、本発明のサーバ装置を用いておけば、友達リストに電子メールアドレスが記憶された他ユーザが、第２ハンドル名記憶手段に記憶された第２ハンドル名の消去の要求（換言すれば、サーバ装置の利用を中止する旨の申し出）を出したユーザに対して、その消去要求の取り下げを進言することが期待できることになる。

なお、本発明のサーバ装置を実現するに際しては、自動発言手段として、第２ハンドル名がそれぞれ付与された複数の会話プログラムを並行して実行する手段を採用することもでき、１つの会話プログラムを、第２ハンドル名がそれぞれ付与された複数の会話プログラムと同等に機能させる手段を採用することもできる。

また、本発明のサーバ装置を実現するに際しては、自動発言手段として、予め設定されたいずれかの紹介条件を満たした会話がチャットルームにて行われたときには、その時点においてチャットルームにアクセスしているいずれかのユーザについて第２ハンドル名記憶手段に記憶されている第２ハンドル名を発言者名として、満たされた紹介条件に応じた商品を紹介する発言をチャットルームにて行う手段を採用しておいても良い。

このような自動発言手段を採用しておけば、チャットルームを広告媒体として使用できることになる。

そして、本発明のチャットシステムは、複数台のコンピュータと、本発明のサーバ装置とを備えたシステムとなっている。

従って、本発明のチャットシステムによれば、本発明のサーバ装置を用いたときと同等の効果が得られることになる。なお、本発明のチャットシステムを実現するに際しては、複数のユーザのそれぞれに関する複数の会話プログラムが、それぞれ、複数のコンピュータで実行されるようにしても良く、複数の会話プログラムがサーバ装置において実行されるようにしても良い。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態を、図面を参照して詳細に説明する。

図１に、本発明の一実施形態に係るチャットシステムの構成を示す。

図示したように、本発明の一実施形態に係るチャットシステムは、Ｊａｖａ対応Ｗｅｂブラウザが利用可能な複数台のパーソナルコンピュータ（ＰＣ）２０とサーバ装置１０とがインターネット１００を介して接続された構成を有する。

サーバ装置１０は、各ＰＣ２０のユーザに、自身用の会話プログラム（以下、チャットメイトと表記する）を参加させた状態で、他ＰＣ２０のユーザとの間でチャットを行えるサービス（以下、チャットメイトサービスと表記する）を提供する装置である。なお、本実施形態に係るサーバ装置１０は、ダイヤルアップ接続サービスを行っているＩＳＰ（インターネットサービスプロバイダ）が運営する装置として構成されており、チャットメイトサービスは、当該ＩＳＰと契約を行っている者（以下、メンバと表記する）に、有料で、提供される。また、チャットメイトサービスは、所定の手続きを行ったメンバに無料（或いは有料）で提供されるチャットサービスの付加サービスとなっている。換言すれば、チャットメイトサービスを受けるための手続き（詳細は後述）は、チャットサービスを受けるための手続きを行った後（或いは当該手続きと同時）に行われる。

サーバ装置１０は、一種のＷｅｂサーバであり、各種のアプレットが用いられた各種のＷｅｂページを供給する機能（以下、サーバ機能と表記する）を有している。このサーバ機能により、チャットメイトサービスの利用を開始するための手続き用のＷｅｂページや、メンバにチャットルームを選択させるためのルーム一覧ウインドウや、メンバが実際にチャットを行うためのチャットルームウインドウが表示されるＷｅｂページが、各ＰＣ２０に供給される。また、サーバ装置１０は、チャット管理プログラム及び幾つかのチャットメイトが実行される装置でもあり、サーバ装置１０には、チャット管理プログラム及び各チャットメイトによって参照、更新されるチャット情報データベース１２と、各チャットメイトによって参照される会話題材データベース１４とが備えられている。

以下、サーバ装置１０の構成、動作（各データベースの構成、チャット管理プログラム、チャットメイトの内容）を、具体的に説明する。

会話題材データベース１４は、チャットが行なわれている際に、そのチャットに参加しているチャットメイトに発言させる内容を規定する複数の内容規定情報を、その発言を行わせる条件を規定する条件規定情報（単語或いは２つ以上の単語の組み合わせ）に対応づけて、記憶したデータベースである。この会話題材データベース１４は、チャットメイトサービス運営者が提供（或いは協賛）している別のサービスや、最近のニュースに関する情報が記憶されているように、チャットメイトサービス運営者によってその内容が定期的に更新される。

チャット情報データベース１２は、チャットサービスを利用するための手続きを既に行っている複数のメンバのそれぞれに対応づけられた複数の利用環境情報，複数のチャットメイトのそれぞれに対応づけられた複数のログ情報，及び，複数のチャットメイトのそれぞれに対応づけられた友達リストの集合として機能するデータベースである。

チャット情報データベース１２に含まれる利用環境情報は、対応するメンバのメンバＩＤ、ハンドル名、Ｅメールアドレス等と、そのメンバが選択しているチャットメイトに関するチャットメイト情報（タイプ情報、ハンドル名、呼出呪文、追い出し呪文、Ｅメールアドレス等からなる情報）とで構成されている。チャットサービスを利用するための手続きは行っているが、チャットメイトサービスを利用するための手続きを行なっていないメンバに関する利用環境情報は、有意な内容のチャットメイト情報を有さないものとなっている。

以下、チャット情報データベース１２内に記憶される各情報の詳細と、チャット管理プログラム及びチャットメイトによる制御内容とを説明する。

チャットメイトサービスの利用を開始する際、メンバは、ＰＣ２０（Ｗｅｂブラウザ）を操作することにより、サーバ装置１０が保持しているチャットメイトサービスの利用開始手続き用のＷｅｂページにアクセスする。そして、メンバは、ＰＣ２０に表示される当該Ｗｅｂページ上の説明に従い、サーバ装置１０内に用意されている各種タイプ（詳細は後述）のチャットメイトの中から、自身が利用する１つのチャットメイトを選択する作業（チャットメイトのタイプ情報を設定する作業）や、そのチャットメイト用のハンドル名、呼出呪文、追い出し呪文を設定する作業を行う。なお、呼出呪文とは、自身のチャットメイトをチャットルームに登場させる（会話に参加させる）際にメンバが入力すべきコマンドのことであり、追い出し呪文とは、自身のチャットメイトをチャットルームから退出させるためにメンバが入力すべきコマンドのことである。

上記のような作業を伴う利用開始手続きが行われた場合、チャット管理プログラムは、その手続きを行ったメンバのＥメールアドレスに所定の変形を施すことにより、当該メンバのチャットメイト用のＥメールアドレスを決定する。そして、決定されたＥメールアドレスを、メンバによって設定された各種の情報と共に、当該メンバのメンバＩＤに対応づけてチャット情報データベース１２に登録する処理（チャットメイトに関するタイプ情報、ハンドル名、Ｅメールアドレス等を、当該メンバＩＤを含む利用状況情報に設定する処理）を行う。

また、チャット管理プログラムは、複数のチャットルームを、管理、運用する制御も行う。具体的には、チャット管理プログラムは、サーバ機能によってＷｅｂページが供給された各ＰＣ２０からの情報に基づき、各チャットルームに誰が入っているかを把握、管理し、その管理結果に基づき、ルーム一覧ウインドウ内に表示する情報（各チャットルームに入っている人数）を認識する。また、チャット管理プログラムは、いずれかのチャットルームに入っているメンバのＰＣ２０が送信した、当該メンバの発言内容を示す情報（チャットルームウインドウに対してテキストの入力とその送信を指示する操作がなされた結果として送信される情報）を受信した際には、その情報が示している発言内容を、当該チャットルーム内の他のメンバのＰＣ２０にて開かれているチャットルームウインドウ内に表示させるための処理（当該情報を他メンバのＰＣ２０に送信する処理）を行う。さらに、チャット管理プログラムは、いずれかのチャットルームに入っているチャットメイトが発言した場合にも、その発言内容を示す情報を、当該チャットルーム内の他のメンバのＰＣ２０に送信する処理を行なう。

また、あるメンバがあるチャットルームに入り、チャットメイトを呼び出した場合、チャット管理プログラムは、チャット情報データベース１２内のそのメンバに関する利用環境情報に基づき、当該メンバ用のチャットメイトを起動する。

起動されたチャットメイトは、自身の所有者（以下、主人と表記する）が参加しているチャットルーム内でのチャットの内容を、チャット情報データベース１２内の自身に関するログ情報に追加するとともに、発言契機イベントの発生を監視する処理を開始する。ここで、発言契機イベントとは、何らかの発言を行うべきイベントとして定義されているイベントのことであり、チャットメイトは、所定種類の発言（特定の単語を含む発言）が他者によってなされた場合、自身に対する発言がなされた場合、所定時間に亘り参加者のいずれもが発言を行わなかった場合等に、発言契機イベントが発生したと認識する。なお、ユーザに選択させるために用意されている各種タイプのチャットメイトは、発言契機イベントが発生したときに発言を行う確率や、発言する内容（言葉遣い）や、発言契機イベントと見なすイベントを違えたもの（異なる性格を与えた会話プログラム）となっている。

そして、発言契機イベントの発生を検出し、発言を行うことにしたチャットメイトは、チャット情報データベース１２内の自身に関するログ情報と会話題材データベース１４とを参照して、検出した発言契機イベントに応じた内容の発言を、自身に与えられているハンドル名（第２ハンドル名に相当）で行う。

例えば、図２に模式的に示したように、メンバＡ〜メンバＣ及びチャットメイトＡ〜チャットメイトＣ（図では、メイトＡ〜メイトＣ）が入室しているチャットルームにおいて、前回のチャットに関する会話が行われた場合（そのような会話が行なわれていることが想定される単語を含む発言がいずれかのチャット参加者によってなされた場合）、チャットメイトＣ（或いは他のチャットメイト）は、自身が管理しているメンバＣに関するログ情報を参照して、そのチャットが行われた日時や、チャットされた話題に関する発言を行う。また、会話題材データベース１４内に記憶されている条件定義情報を構成する単語或いは単語の組み合わせを含む発言がなされた場合、チャットメイトＢ（或いは他のチャットメイト）が、当該条件定義情報に対応づけられている内容定義情報に基づいた発言を行う。すなわち、サービス関連の会話が始った場合、チャットメイトＢ（或いは他のチャットメイト）は、“〜といったサービスが始ったらしいけど、知っている？”といった発言をし、ニュース、例えば、最近、起こった事故や犯罪に関する会話が開始された際には、“続報が〜新聞に載っていたよ！”といった発言をする。

なお、あるチャットルームに入室している各チャットメイトは、発言を行うことにした場合、待機時間をランダムに決定し、その待機時間の間、他チャットメイトによる同種の発言が行われないことを確認した上で、発言を行うように構成されている。換言すれば、本チャットシステムは、チャットに参加している複数のチャットメイトから同じような内容の発言が連続してなされることがないように構成されている。

次に、チャット管理プログラム及びチャットメイトの友達リスト関連の動作を説明する。

チャット情報データベース１２に記憶される、あるチャットメイトに関する友達リストは、他のチャットメイトに関する情報（タイプ情報、ハンドル名、Ｅメールアドレス）とその主人に関する情報（ハンドル名、Ｅメールアドレス）とからなる友達情報を幾つか含む情報である。この友達リストは、あるメンバがチャットルーム一覧ウインドウに対して所定の操作を行った場合、チャット管理プログラムによって、そこにメンバＩＤが記憶されている各メンバがチャットに参加しているか否か等が調査されて、その調査結果が当該メンバのＰＣ２０に表示されることになるリストである。また、友達リストは、一種のアドレス帳としても利用できるものとなっており、各メンバは、チャット用Ｗｅｂページを操作することにより自身の友達リストへ友達情報を追加することが出来る。ただし、友達リストへの友達情報の追加には、相手の承諾が必要であり、チャットメイトαの友達リストに、チャットメイトβに関する友達情報が追加される場合、必ず、チャットメイトβの友達リストに、チャットメイトαに関する友達情報が追加される。

そして、本システムでは、この友達リストへの友達情報の追加が、チャットメイトからの要望を契機として行われることもあるように構成されている。

以下、チャットメイトからの要望を契機として行われる友達リストへの友達情報の追加手順を具体的に説明する。なお、説明の便宜上、以下では、あるチャットメイトと、そのチャットメイトに関する友達リストにそのハンドル名が記憶されているチャットメイトとの関係を、友達関係と表記する。

チャット管理プログラムは、既に説明したように、チャットルームごとに、チャットに参加しているメンバとチャットメイトとを、把握、管理している。

そのような管理と並行して、チャット管理プログラムは、チャット情報データベース１２（友達リスト）を参照して、友達関係にない２人（２つ）のチャットメイトが入室しているか否かを判断する処理を、チャットルーム毎に、定期的に行う。そして、友達関係にない２つのチャットメイトが、あるチャットルームに入室していることを見出した場合、チャット管理プログラムは、チャット情報データベース１２（ログ情報）を参照して、▲１▼それらの２つのチャットメイトが、過去に、所定回数以上、同じチャットに参加している、或いは、▲２▼それらの２つのチャットメイトの主人である２メンバが、類似した内容の発言をしている、といった条件（以下、友達条件と表記する）が満たされているか否かを判断する。そして、それらの２つのチャットメイトについて友達条件が満たされていた場合、チャット管理プログラムは、それらの２つのチャットメイトのそれぞれに、他方のチャットメイト及びその主人に関する情報を与えて友達追加処理の実行を命ずる。

友達追加処理の実行を命じられた各チャットメイトは、“〜（他方のチャットメイトのハンドル名）さんと仲良しになったので友達になりたい”といった内容のメッセージ及び他方のチャットメイトの主人に関する情報が示されたダイアログボックスを、主人のＰＣ２０に表示させるための処理を行なう。

すなわち、サーバ装置１０では、図３（１）に模式的に示したような状態、すなわち、メンバＡ〜メンバＣ及びチャットメイトＡ〜チャットメイトＣ（図では、メイトＡ〜メイトＣ）が、あるチャットルームに入室しており、チャットメイトＡの友達リスト１６Ａ、及び、チャットメイトＢの友達リスト１６Ｂに、それぞれ、メンバＣ（及びチャットメイトＣ）に関する友達情報のみが記憶されており、チャットメイトＣの友達リスト１６Ｃに、メンバＡに関する友達情報とメンバＢに関する友達情報とが記憶されている状態であった場合、チャットメイトＡとチャットメイトＢとについて友達条件が満たされているか否かが判断される。そして、友達条件が満たされていた場合には、チャットメイトＡによって、その主人であるメンバＡに対して“チャットメイトＢと友達になりたい”といった意思表明がなされるとともに、チャットメイトＢによって、その主人であるメンバＢに対して“チャットメイトＡと友達になりたい”といった意思表明がなされる。

各チャットメイトが意思表明に用いるダイアログボックスは、“ＹＥＳ”ボタンと“ＮＯ”ボタンとを有するものとなっており、いずれかのボタンが押下された際、各チャットメイトは、押下されたボタンの種類（主人からの返事）を他方のチャットメイトに通知する。そして、各チャットメイトは、双方の主人によって“ＯＫ”ボタンが押下されたことが確認できたときに、自身の友達リストに、他チャットメイト及びその主人に関する情報からなる友達情報を追加する。

例えば、図３（１）に示したケースにおいて、双方の主人により、“ＯＫ”ボタンが出された場合には、図３（２）に示したように、友達リスト１６ＡにメンバＢに関する友達情報が追加され、友達リスト１６ＢにメンバＡに関する友達情報が追加される。

また、いずれか或いは双方の主人により“ＮＯ”ボタンが押下された場合には、各チャットメイトは、主人の返事に応じたメッセージ（ＮＯ⇒“それは残念”、ＹＥＳ⇒“断られたっす”）を主人のＰＣ２０に表示させ、友達リストに友達情報を追加することなく友達追加処理を終了する。

既に説明したように、友達リストは、状況を確認したい他メンバ（親しい他メンバ）に関する情報を記憶しておくためのリストであるが、本システムでは、あるメンバがチャットメイトサービスの利用をやめるための手続き（以下、解除手続きと表記する）を行った場合、そのメンバ（以下、解除手続者と表記する）に関する友達リストを利用した処理が行われる。

具体的には、解除手続きが行われた場合、チャット管理プログラムによってその旨がチャット情報データベース１２内に記憶される。また、解除手続者のチャットメイトにより、主人に対して、解除手続きのキャンセルを進言する“やめないで！”メールが送信されるとともに、友達となっている各チャットメイト（友達リストにハンドル名等が記憶されている各チャットメイト）に対して、その主人を同報者として指定した形で、サービスの利用をやめることになったことを記した“さようなら”メールが送信される。なお、“さようなら”メールが、各友達チャットメイトとその主人とに送信されるようにしてあるのは、解除手続者の友人によって、解除手続者に対して、チャットメイトサービスの利用終了を思い止まらせるＥメール等が出されることを期待してである。

そして、解除手続きが行われた月の末日（チャットメイトサービスに対する課金は月単位で行われ、月末が１課金期間の終日となっている）になる前に、解除手続きのキャンセルが行われた場合、チャット管理プログラムによってその旨がチャット情報データベース１２内に記憶される。また、解除手続者のチャットメイトは、その旨を記した“またよろしく”メールを、友達となっている各チャットメイトに対して、その主人を同報者として指定した形で送信する。

一方、解除手続きのキャンセルが行われることなく、月末になった場合、解除手続者のチャットメイトは、解除手続きが完了してしまった旨を記した遺言メールを、友達となっている各チャットメイトに対して、その主人を同報者として指定した形で送信する。そして、解除手続者に関するチャットメイトに関する情報が、チャット管理プログラムによってチャット情報データベース１２から消去される。

以上、説明したように、本チャットシステムによれば、各メンバは、専用のチャットメイトを参加させた形で、チャットを行うことができる。そして、各メンバのチャットメイトは、主人が過去に参加したチャット内容を記憶しており、その記憶に基づき発言を行うので、チャットメイトの発言をきっかけとして会話が弾むことになる。また、本チャットシステムでは、各メンバが、自身のチャットメイトを一種の備忘録として用いてチャットを行うことも可能である。さらに、本チャットシステムを利用してチャットを行っている各メンバは、システム側（自身のチャットメイト）から、他のメンバとより良く知り合うためのきっかけが与えられるので、本チャットシステムによれば、交友関係を広げることがより容易に行えることになる。また、チャットメイトにサービスの紹介を行わせることが出来るので、本チャットシステムは、広告媒体としても機能することになる。

＜変形形態＞
実施形態に係るチャットシステムは、各種の変形を行うことができる。例えば、ログ情報の管理（データの収集、記憶）が、別プログラムによって行われ、各チャットメイトが、その別プログラムによって管理されたログ情報を参照して動作するようにしておいても良い。また、友達リストへの友達情報の追加が、相手の承諾を得ることなく行われるようにシステムを構成しておいても良い。

また、複数のチャットメイト（会話プログラム）を用いる代わりに、複数名分の発言を行える会話プログラム（複数のチャットメイトと同等の機能を有する会話プログラム）を用いてサーバ装置１０を構成しても良く、各ＰＣ２０にてチャットメイトが実行されるようにシステムを構成しても良い。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、コンピュータにチャットの相手をさせる技術がチャットの活性化のためにより効果的に使用されたサーバ装置、チャットシステムが得られることになる。
