本発明は、例えば、裏面側に補強用のリブが格子状に形成された比較的軽量な成形品(対象物ともいう)の吸着式移載装置であって、特に移載物が多品種であっても、吸着移載が可能な装置に関する。

従来、図7、図8に示すようなプラスチック成形品60を、図示しない金型から引き上げるには、裏面側に格子状に形成された突起リブ61、62の間に嵌入するそれぞれ複数の吸着パッド63、64を備えた吸着式の移載装置を用いていた。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、プラスチック成形品の種類が変わると、突起リブ61、62の形成位置が異なるので、人手によって吸着パッド63、64の位置を変更する必要があり、極めて手間であった。
また、成形品に図7に示す裏面側65、66に段差がある場合や、吸着パッド63、64の吸着部位に高低差がある場合には、吸着パッド63、64の吸着高さも調整する必要があり、段取り調整時間に多大な時間を必要とし、生産効率の低下を招くという問題があった。
本発明はかかる事情に鑑みてなされたもので、成形品のリブ位置に関係なく吸着することが可能で、更には吸着位置に段差がある場合であっても段取り変えを行うことなく、成形品の吸着が可能な吸着移載装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
前記目的に沿う本発明に係る吸着移載装置は、格子状に突出リブが設けられ、該突出リブによって周囲が囲まれる複数の空間部を有した吸着部位を複数備える対象物の吸着移載装置であって、該それぞれの吸着部位に対応する吸着手段は上下動可能に昇降台に取付けられ、該吸着手段が前記対象物の吸着部位に到達したことを確認してそれぞれの前記吸着手段の上下動を止めるロック手段が設けられ、前記吸着手段は複数の前記空間部を覆う線状の真空吸引口を備え、通気性がなくかつ弾力性のある材料で構成された吸着パッドと、該吸着パッドを支持し前記真空吸引口に連通する真空用通気を備える固定部材とを有して構成され、前記突出リブが空気の漏れるのを防止して、前記真空吸引口が位置する前記空間部のみを真空吸引して前記対象物を吸着搬送する。これによって、より強い吸引力で成形品を引き上げることができる。

続いて、添付した図面を参照しつつ、本発明を具体化した実施の形態つき説明し、本発明の理解に供する。
ここに、図1は本発明の一実施の形態に係る吸着移載装置の主要構成を示す斜視図、図2は同吸着移載装置の側面図、図3〜図5は吸着手段の説明図、図6は吸着手段による成形品の吸着状況の説明図である。

図1、図2に示すように、本発明の一実施の形態に係る吸着移載装置10は、十分な高さを有する架台11と、架台11上を走行する台車12に昇降可能に取付けられた昇降台13と、昇降台13に取付けられた2つの吸着手段14、15とを有している。以下、これらについて詳しく説明する。
架台11は、鋼製部材からなって、柱17を有し、上部の前後の梁には走行レール18が配置され、その上を車輪19、20を備えた台車12が走行している。車輪19は駆動モータ21aによって回転駆動されて台車12が自走するようになっている。
昇降台13はこの台車12の直下に昇降可能に取付けられている。その昇降手段としては、台車12にウインチを配置し、昇降台13の4隅をロープで吊り下げ、このロープを前記ウインチで巻き取るようにしてもよいし、昇降台13の4隅を雄ねじロッドで吊り下げ、雄ねじロッドに螺合するナットを台車12に回転可能に配置し、このナットをモータが回転駆動するようにしてもよい。

昇降台13には、図1に示すように、2の吸着手段14、15が昇降可能に取付けられている。吸着手段14、15は平面視して長方形の上部の固定部材14a、15aと、固定部材14a、15aに支持され平面視して長方形の下部の吸着パッド14b、15bとを有し、固定部材14a、15aの上側にそれぞれ対となるガイドロッド21、22とその中央に配置された上下位置のロック手段23、24が設けられている。ガイドロッド21、22は昇降台13を貫通して昇降し、ロック手段23、24は所定の電気信号によって、下方に突出する支持ロッド25、26の上下方向の移動をロックするようになっている。昇降台13にはガイドロッド21、22を検知するセンサー27、28が設けられている。
吸着手段14、15は、前記したように、固定部材14a、15aとこれに接着剤で接合された吸着パッド14b、15bとを有し、図3〜図5に示すように、吸着パッド14b、15bは、通気性を有さないゴム(例、スポンジゴム、ウレタンゴム)からなって、中央に線状の真空吸引口29を備え、固定部材14a、15aはこの真空吸引口29に連通する線状の真空用通気孔30を備えている。

真空吸引口29の長さは、成形品31(図5、図6参照)の底部36、37に格子状に形成されている突出リブ32のピッチの約2〜3倍程度が好ましい。これによって、突出リブ32によって形成される複数の空間部33を覆うことができる。
固定部材14a、15aの上表面には、前述のように、ガイドロッド21、22及び支持ロッド25、26の下端が固定されていると共に、図4、図5に示すように、真空用通気孔30に連通するニップル34が取付けられ、これに真空用ホース35の先端部が連結されている。
なお、成形品31はプラスチック等の軽量部材で形成され、裏側に上下方向に段違いに吸着部位となる2か所の底部36、37を有し、それぞれに格子状に突出リブ32が設けられ、前述のようにこの突出リブ32によって周囲が囲まれる複数の空間部33を有している。なお、38は載置台を示す。

続いて、この吸着移載装置10の動作及び作用について説明する。
架台11上を走行する台車12を引上げようとする成形品31の直上部まで移動させ、昇降台13を昇降手段を用いて徐々に下降する。この状態では、図1に示す吸着手段14、15は最下部まで下がった状態となって、センサー27、28はそれぞれガイドロッド21、22を検出していない。
昇降台13の下降によって、吸着手段14が成形品31の底部36に当接する。この状態で更に昇降台13の下降を続けると、ガイドロッド21が昇降台13の上部から突出するので、センサー27が作動する。そして、昇降台13が更に下降すると、図1に示すように、もう一方の吸着手段15が成形品31の底部37に当接する。この状態で更に昇降台13を下降すると、ガイドロッド22が上昇してセンサー28が働くので、センサー27、28の作動を確認して昇降台13を停止する。次に真空用ホース35の基側に接続されている真空用電磁弁を開くと共に真空ポンプを駆動すると、吸着パッド14b、15bが成形品31の底部36、37に吸着する。

この様子を詳細に説明すると、図6に示すように、突出リブ32で囲まれる空間部33のうち斜線部分の空間部が真空吸引される。この場合、周囲の突出リブ32が空気の漏れるのを防止してくれる。なお、真空吸引口29が位置する空間部33のみしか吸引されないので、その長さ及び形成位置については、予め全ての種類の成形品を考慮して決定しておく必要がある。
この状態で、ロック手段23、24を作動させて支持ロッド25、26のロックを行い、昇降手段を作動させて昇降台13を徐々に上昇させる。成形品31は吸着バッド14b、15bによって真空吸引されているので、そのまま上昇する。所定の位置まで成形品31を昇降した後、台車12の横送りを行って、所定の位置まで成形品31を搬送する。
この成形品31を所定の場所に載置する場合には、以上と逆の手順によって行う。

前記実施の形態においては、成形品として2段に高さの異なる底部を有する成形品について説明したが、段の有無に関係なく本発明を適用できると共に、成形品の底部が一つであっても本発明は適用される。

【発明の効果】
請求項記載の吸着移載装置は、それぞれの吸着部位に対応する吸着手段は上下動可能に昇降台に取付けられ、吸着手段が対象物の吸着部位に到達したことを確認してそれぞれの吸着手段の上下動を止めるロック手段が設けられているので、これによって吸着部位の高さが異なる対象物であっても、確実に吸着搬送することができる。
また、吸着手段が真空吸引口を備え、通気性がなくかつ弾力性のある材料で構成された吸着パッドと、吸着パッドを支持し真空吸引口に連通する真空用通気を備える固定部材とを有して構成され、しかも、吸着パッド真空吸引口は線状に長くなっているので、底部の突出リブがある対象物確実に吸着することができる。
