【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、パイプとスリーブもしくはパイプとパイプの溶接時に起きる内面の酸化防止のためにアルゴンガス等不活性ガスを溶接の前に封入しておくのに用いるパイプ溶接用内面ガスシールド冶具に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、図4に示すような、シールドゴム20を利用した形式のものは知られている。
しかし乍ら、この形式はシールドゴム20の弾性によりパイプの内面に押支えているために当該シールドゴムが熱により劣化し易く、比較的頻繁に交換する必要がある等の欠陥があった。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
本発明は上記欠陥を解消する新規のパイプ溶接用内面ガスシールド冶具を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために本発明に係るパイプ溶接用内面ガスシールド冶具は、パイプとスリーブもしくはパイプとパイプの溶接時に起きる内面の酸化防止のためにアルゴンガス等不活性ガスを溶接の前に封入しておくのに用いるパイプ溶接用内面ガスシールド冶具であって、中心に通孔1をもつ蓋体2と、外端にスパナ等工具掛け用鍔状部3をもち上記通孔1に外方より挿入されて同通孔1の切縁部4の外面に鍔状部3を係止するようにされた雄ネジ5と、雄ネジ5の中心に内外に連通する状態で設けたカプラ取付孔6と、カプラ取付孔6にガス送入孔7付きのカプラ取付用ネジ8を以て取付けたカプラ9と、上記雄ネジ5の内端に螺合させたコーン部材10と、コーン部材10の外周にスプリング11を以て装着した金属等耐熱材料製分割型締付シールド部材12と、から成ることを特徴とするものである。

【作用】
本発明に係るパイプ溶接用内面ガスシールド冶具を利用してたとえばパイプ15の一端にスリーブ16を溶接17する際には、スパナ等工具を用いて雄ネジ5を廻してコーン部材10を蓋体2の方に引き寄せることにより締付部材12をスプリング11の作用力に抗して放射方向に押出して当該締付部材12をスリーブ16の内周面に圧接させることによって装着し、また、この装着を外す場合には雄ネジ5を上記と逆の方向に廻して上記圧接を解消すればよい。

尚、上記装着状態においてアルゴンガス、ヘリウムガス、チッソガス等不活性ガスをカプラ9に連結したホース13を介して送入する場合には、パイプ15の他端部内に内面プラグ冶具(図示せず)を挿入して同他端を閉塞してから行う。

【発明の効果】
本発明に係るパイプ溶接用内面ガスシールド冶具は、上記のような構成であるので、スパナ等工具を以て雄ネジ5を進退させることによってシールド部材12をスリーブもしくはパイプの内周面に圧接させたり当該圧接を解消させたりすることにより、シールドまたは当該シールドの解消をなすことができるものであって、上記従来例におけるシールドゴム20のような熱劣化の惧れのないものであり、所期の目的を充分に解消することを可能とするものである。

【実施例】
図1〜図3に示す本発明の実施例は、パイプ15とスリーブ16の溶接時に起きる内面の酸化防止のためにアルゴンガス等を溶接の前に封入しておくのに用いるパイプ溶接用内面ガスシールド冶具に関するものであって、中心に通孔1をもつ布入りベークライト製の蓋体2と、外端にスパナ掛け用鍔状部3をもち上記通孔1に外方より挿入されて同通孔1の切縁部4の外面に鍔状部3を係止するようにされた布入りベークライト製雄ネジ5と、雄ネジ5の中心に内外に連通する状態で設けたカプラ取付孔6と、カプラ取付孔6にガス送入孔7付きのカプラ取付用金属製ネジ8を以て取付けた金属製カプラ9と、上記雄ネジ5の内端に螺合させた金属製コーン部材10と、コーン部材10の外周にスプリング11を以て装着した金属製4分割型締付シールド部材12と、から成るものであって、図中符号14は座金を示す。
