この発明は、空気式防舷材の気密テスト方法及び気密テスト装置に係わり、更に詳しくは簡易な方法で空気式防舷材の気密テストを短時間に行うことが出来る気密テスト方法及び気密テスト装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
一般に、空気式防舷材の空気漏れの箇所は、経験上口金部が主流であり、この口金部分の空気漏れをチェックすれば足りることが判っている。
従来の防舷材本体1の口金部2の構造としては、図2に示すように防舷材本体1の端面に断面凹状の口金2が一体的に取付けられ、この口金2の底部にはエアー注入バルブ3と安全弁4が取付けられ、また口金2の端面には、ボルト等の締結部材5を介して鉄板等の保護カバー6が取付けられている。

ところで、現在行われている製造された空気式防舷材の気密テストは、防舷材本体1内にエアー注入バルブ3から所定の圧力(例えば、0.5 〜0.8 kgf/cm2 ) のエアーを充填した後、所定時間(例えば、48時間)後に空気圧を測定し、圧力低下がなければ気密であると判定する方法で行っている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明は上記目的を達成するため、空気式防舷材の気密テスト方法は、防舷材本体の断面凹状の口金端面に、エアー抜き口を上端部に位置させた状態で透明板を気密的に取付け、前記口金の凹部と透明板とで区画された空隙部内のエアーを前記エアー抜き口から抜きながら、かつ透明板に設けた液体流入口から空隙部内に液体を流入させて充填し、防舷材本体から漏出するエアーにより発生する液体中の気泡の有無を透明板を透して視認することを要旨とするものである。

また、この発明の空気式防舷材の気密テスト装置は、防舷材本体の端面に取付けられた断面凹状の口金端面に、液体流入口と上端部にエアー抜き口とを備えた透明板をシール材を介して気密的に取付けたことを要旨とするものである。
この発明は、上記のように構成され、防舷材本体の口金に透明板を介して気密室を区画形成し、該気密室内の空気を抜きながら、かつ水等の液体を充填させて、口金からエアーが漏出していた場合には、液体中に気泡を発生させることに着目し、口金に取付けた透明板を透視して液体中の気泡の有無を確認することで、空気漏れ部位の確認が出来、短時間に、しかも簡便に空気式防舷材の気密テストを行うことが出来るものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、添付図面に基づき、この発明の実施形態を説明する。
なお、従来例と同一構成要素は、同一符号を付して説明は省略する。
図1は、この発明を実施した空気式防舷材の口金部の拡大断面図を示し、1は防舷材本体、2は断面略凹状に形成された口金、3は口金2の底面2aに取付けられたエアー注入バルブ、4は隣接して取付けられた安全弁を示している。

前記口金2と一体的に形成される取付け金具2bの端面には、液体流入口7とエアー抜き口8とを備えたアクリル樹脂板または塩化ビニル樹脂板等から成る透明板9がシール材10及びボルト等の締結部材11を介して気密的に取付けられている。

【発明の効果】
この発明は、上記のように防舷材本体の断面凹状の口金端面に、エアー抜き口を上端部に位置させた状態で透明板を気密的に取付け、前記口金の凹部と透明板とで区画された空隙部内のエアーを前記エアー抜き口から抜きながら、かつ透明板に設けた液体流入口から空隙部内に液体を流入させて充填し、防舷材本体から漏出するエアーにより発生する液体中の気泡の有無を透明板を透して視認するようにしたので、成形された防舷材本体の気密テストを簡便な方法により短時間に行うことができ、生産性の向上を図ることが出来、空気漏れのある場合は、その箇所を容易に見つけることが出来る効果がある。
