【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、紙幣やカード等の紙葉類を挿入する紙葉類挿入口と硬貨や商品を取出す取出口とに設ける自動販売機の紙葉類挿入装置及び取出装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
近年、硬貨のみならず紙幣を扱う自動販売機が普及しつつある。この種の自動販売機は、一般に、本体前面に開閉自在とする扉体に金銭授受部が設けられ、この金銭授受部に設けられる紙幣挿入口から紙幣を挿入する。従来、自動販売機は、屋外や軒下に設置されることが多く、紙幣挿入口を開口したままでは、強雨時や強風時、さらに、雨水、塵埃の侵入を防ぐことができない。このために通常紙幣挿入口には、紙幣挿入口扉が開閉自在に設けられている。また、同様に硬貨返却口についても雨水や塵埃の侵入防止のために硬貨返却口扉が内側に開閉自在に設けられている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかし、自動販売機を屋内等に設置する場合、上記した雨水や塵埃をあまり考慮する必要がなく、紙幣を挿入するときに紙幣挿入口扉が邪魔となるということがある。このために、屋内に設置するときや屋外から屋内へ設置変更するとき、顧客から紙幣挿入口扉を外してほしいという要望があるが、紙幣挿入口扉を外すには、かなりの手間を要する。また、紙幣挿入口扉を取り外すと取り外した紙幣挿入口扉や取付部品類が紛失してしまい、逆に、屋外等へ自動販売機を設置変更する場合にわざわざ部品の調達をしなければならないこともある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
請求項1の発明は、本体前面に紙葉類を挿入する紙葉類挿入口を形成した自動販売機の紙葉類挿入装置において、前記紙葉類挿入口に開閉可能な紙葉類挿入口扉を設けると共に、この紙葉類挿入口扉を前記紙葉類挿入口から退避させて収納し前記紙葉類挿入口を全開状態に維持固定する扉固定機構を設け、前記紙葉類挿入口扉の不使用時に前記扉固定機構により紙葉類挿入口扉を紙葉類挿入口から退避させて収納するようにしたものである。

図1は本発明の第1実施例を示す自動販売機の正面全体図、図2は紙幣挿入装置の内部正面図、図3は同側断面図であって、1は自動販売機の本体にして、本体1内には販売商品を収納する商品収納コラムや商品送出装置等を収設している。2は本体1の前面の開口部を開閉自在とする扉体で、扉体2の前面には、商品展示室3が形成され、展示台4に商品見本5が載置され、展示台4の前面に商品選択スイッチ6が設けられ、商品展示室3の前方が透明アクリルパネル7により覆われている。
