従来、ワードプロセッサーや携帯型コンピューター等の液晶表示装置等が収納された表示部を有する電子機器では、表示部が本体部にヒンジにより回動可能に取り付けられており、電子機器使用時には表示部を開状態にし、不使用時には埃防止や収納の目的で表示部を閉状態にして保持できるようにしている。
