本発明は、増毛用ユニットに関し、特に基板に複数本の毛髪が取り付けられた増毛用ピースを頭皮に接着する際に用いる増毛用ユニットに関する。

【従来の技術及び発明が解決しようとする課題】
増毛技術としては、かつらを用いる方法や、自毛の根本に人工毛髪を結着させる方法等が一般的に知られている。かつらを使用する方法は、広い面積を一度に覆うことができる反面、むれやすく、また一気に外観がかわるため不自然で、初期コスト及び維持費も高価である。人工毛髪を結着させる方法は、自毛に負担をかけることになるため、かえって脱毛を促進させることになり、また自毛は一月に約1センチ程度伸びるため、外観が不自然になりやすい。

これに対し、接着剤を介して頭皮に人工毛髪を直接接着させるようにした増毛技術が例えば特開平8−41718号公報に記載されている。特開平8−41718号公報によれば、線状物を基材として人工毛髪を複数本結びつけた増毛用ピースを、図8に示す増毛用具を用いて増毛用接着剤により頭皮に接着してゆく。図8に示す増毛用具50は、透明又は半透明の樹脂フィルム51を棒状スティック52の先部に被せて当該棒状スティック52の先端面53に増毛用ピース54を仮固定した状態で、この棒状スティック52を透明又は半透明のパイプ55に差し込んでなるもので、増毛時に棒状スティック52の先端面53に増毛用接着剤を適量つけ、増毛しようとする頭皮に押し付けて増毛用ピース54の基材56を頭皮に接着させた後、パイプ55及び棒状スティック52を頭皮から引き上げることにより、増毛用ピース54を頭皮に植毛する。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の好ましい実施形態に係る増毛用ユニット10は、毛髪の薄い部分の頭皮に増毛用ピース11を直接粘着して毛髪を増毛する際に用いられる増毛用具である(図6(a),(b)参照)。そして、本実施形態の増毛用ユニット10は、図1に示すように、基板12に複数本の毛髪13が取り付けられた増毛用ピース11をユニット本体14に装着して構成される。

突出細管16は、外径2.2mm程度、内径0.8mm程度の円筒管であって、ユニット本体14の先端面を構成するヘッド部18の先端面から3mm程度の長さで突出配置される。また突出細管16は、ヘッド部18の先端面の中央に1カ所、及びその周囲に90度の等角度間隔で4カ所の合計5カ所に、略均等に分散して設けられている。各突出細管16は、その基端部分においてヘッド部18を貫通して形成された挿通孔20と連通し、増毛用ピース11の毛髪13を筒状部15の内部に向けて挿通させる。なお、突出細管16の外径は、2〜3mm程度とすることが好ましい。突出細管16の外径を2〜3mmとすることにより、細管16の肉厚が細くなりすぎて破損することがなく、また自毛をかきわかることを効果的に行うことができる。また、突出細管16の突出長さは、10mm以下が好ましく、0.5〜2mmが特に好ましい。突出長さを0.5〜10mmとすることにより、自毛を効果的にかきわかることができ、またコンパクトさを保持してねらった所に植毛しやすくすることができる。
