本発明は、例えば太陽電池パネルなど方形をした盤状の方形盤状物を包装する包装装置及び方形盤状物の包装方法に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
太陽集熱器や太陽電池パネルなどの方形盤状物は、例えば実開昭60―68089号公報に示されているような包装装置により包装されている。即ち、方形盤状物の周縁部に断面コ字状の緩衝材を被着させ、この緩衝材ごとバンドで結束している。この包装装置には発泡スチロールなどで形成された突起体が緩衝材に装着されていて、包装体を積重ねたとき突起体同士が係合し、位置決めできるようになっている。しかしながら、発泡スチロール等が包装装置の構成物に含まれていると、廃却時に分別が必要になるうえ、発泡スチロールそのものは資源としてリサイクルし難いため、発泡スチロールを使わない方向で包装技術が進展している。

発泡スチロール等を使わない方形盤状物の一般的な包装形態は、JISC式箱と称される上面の開放した段ボール製の下箱と下面の開放した段ボール製の上箱内に方形盤状材を収め、全体をバンドで結束したものである。太陽電池パネルの包装にもこの包装形態が採用されており、図9に示すように二枚とか三枚を下箱30に重畳させて収め、上箱31で蓋をして全体をバンド32で結束している。この場合、方形盤状物1相互の間には段ボールシートの保護板33が挟み込まれ、方形盤状物1が直接接触しないようにしている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した従来の発泡スチロール等を使用しないで包装する方形盤状物1の包装装置においては、包装材が多く必要で包装コストが割高になるといった問題点がある。特に、太陽電池パネルのように二枚重ねや三枚重ねといった重ね包装するものでは、被包装物の間に介在させる保護板33が必要であり、コストアップを余儀なくされている。また、このような重ね包装においては、被包装物の間に保護板33を介在させる作業が必要であり、包装も開梱も面倒で作業性が悪いといった問題点もある。

【発明の実施の形態】
実施の形態1.
図1〜図7によって示す本実施の形態は、太陽電池パネルなどの方形盤状物1を重ね包装する包装装置に関するものである。まず初めに図1及び図2によって方形盤状物1としての太陽電池パネルの概要について説明する。太陽電池パネルは、多数の太陽電池セルが埋設され、表面が強化ガラス等の表面保護材2により被覆された基盤の四周にアルミ製の縁枠3が装着されている。縁枠3の背面には架台等に取付けるための内向きのフランジ4が備えられている。

包装装置の側部緩衝手段5と間仕切り構造6は、図3に示すような展開形状の一枚の剛性紙材のシート8の曲げ操作により構成される。シート8は、長方形の平板部の短辺の四箇所の角部にフラップ9を一つずつ備えた形状をしている。平板部は長辺に沿って6区分に画成され、中心線上に設けられた両端近くの二箇所に連結部10を有する切断線11において上下対称になっている。長辺に沿う最も外側の部分は、それぞれ縁部当り面12として方形盤状物1の長手方向の側縁に当て添わされる。各縁部当り面12の内側に曲げ罫線13を境にして方形盤状物1の長手方向側面に当る立上り面14が画成され、その内側に曲げ罫線13を境にしてそれぞれもう一つの縁部当り面12が画成されている。フラップ9は外側の縁部当り面12の両端を延長する形態に形成され、縁部当り面12とは曲げ罫線13で区画されている。
