本発明は電磁継電器、特に、ベースとケースとの嵌合構造に関する。

従来、電磁継電器としては、例えば、図9ないし図12に示すように、内部構成部品を組み付けたベース1にケース2を嵌合したものがある。前記ベース1は、その側端面に形成した圧入溝3,4に可動接触片5および固定接触片6の端子部5a,6aをそれぞれ圧入した後、電磁石ブロック7,図示しない可動鉄片,カードを順次組み付け、ついで、ケース8を嵌合したものである。
なお、説明の便宜上、図12中の可動接触片5,固定接触片6の端子部5a,6aおよびケース8にはハッチングを施してある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、前記ベース1は、その圧入溝3,4の開口縁部のうち、その側面に位置する開口縁部にテーパ面3a,4aを形成してある。このため、ベース1にケース8を嵌合して密封しても、ベース1の底面縁部に略三角形の隙間9,9が残存し、この隙間9から蟻等の異物が侵入する場合があった。

前述の不具合を解消するため、前記ベース1の底面にシール剤(図示せず)を注入,固化してシールしても、前記隙間9から多量のシール剤が内部に侵入しやすい。このため、シール剤が内部の可動部品に付着して動作不良を生じさせるだけでなく、多量のシール剤が必要になり、製造コストが高いという問題点がある。

本発明は、前記問題点に鑑み、蟻等の異物の侵入やシール剤の不必要な侵入を防止し、製造コストを低減できる電磁継電器を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明にかかる電磁継電器は、前記目的を達成するため、ベースの側面に設けた端子用圧入溝の開口縁部にテーパ面を形成し、このテーパ面を介して端子を側方から圧入するとともに、前記ベースにケースを嵌合した電磁継電器において、前記ベースの圧入溝に圧入した端子の外側端面を前記テーパ面の底部に配置する一方、前記ケースの内側面に、前記端子の外側端面および前記テーパ面に接合する突部を突設し、前記ベースに前記ケースを上方から嵌合する構成としたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
次に、本発明にかかる実施形態を図1ないし図8の添付図面に従って説明する。
第1実施形態にかかる電磁継電器は、図1ないし図4に示すように、ベース10にケース20を嵌合してある。

前記ベース10は、その側面に形成した圧入溝11,12に可動接触片13および固定接触片14の端子部13a,14aをそれぞれ圧入した後、ヒンジばね15を介して可動鉄片(図示せず)を回動可能に支持した電磁石ブロック16を組み付け、ついで、電磁石ブロック16と可動接触片13との間にカード17を側方から挿入し、回動可能に支持している。

クランク状に屈曲した前記圧入溝11は、可動接触片13の端子部13aの挿入を容易にするため、その開口縁部にテーパ面11a,11bを形成してある。また、前記圧入溝12にも、その開口縁部にテーパ面12a,12bを形成してある。さらに、前記ベース10の側面には、前記圧入溝11の開口縁部のみに連通し、かつ、テーパ面18a,18bを備えたガイド溝18が形成されている。

そして、前記圧入溝11,12に端子部13a,14aをそれぞれ圧入することにより、端子部13aおよび14aの外側端面が前記テーパ面11a,11bおよび12a,12bの底部にそれぞれ位置し、断面略台形の真直な浅溝19a,19bが形成される。

一方、前記ケース20は、その内側面に、前記ベース10に形成された浅溝19a,19bにそれぞれ嵌合する一対の突条21,22が並設されている。

なお、説明の便宜上、図4中の可動接触片13,固定接触片14の端子部13a,14aおよびケース20にはハッチングを施してある。
また、浅溝19a,19bに嵌合するのは、突条である必要はなく、単なる突部であってもよい。

第2実施形態は、図5ないし図8に示すように、前述の第1実施形態がケース20の内側面に並設した突条21,22で隙間の発生を防止する場合であるのに対し、ケース20の内側面に突条を設けず、平坦な内側面で隙間の発生を防止する場合である。
すなわち、前記圧入溝11の開口縁部のうち、ベース10の側面に位置する開口縁部にテーパ面11a,11bをそれぞれ形成するとともに、このテーパ面11a,11bに、端子部13aの表裏面に圧接する仕切り部11c,11dをそれぞれ設けた場合である。同様に、前記圧入溝12のテーパ面12a,12bにも端子部14aの表裏面に圧接する仕切り部12c,12dを設けてある。なお、圧入溝11の開口縁部に設けた仕切り部11eは端子部13aの基準面としての機能をも果たすものである。
なお、説明の便宜上、図8中のテーパ面11a,11b,12a,12bにはハッチングを施してある。

したがって、前記圧入溝11の開口縁部のうち、テーパ面11a,11bが対向する部分に、端子部13aの内側端部を位置決めして圧入することにより、端子部13aの表裏面に、仕切り部11c,11d,11eが圧接し、ベース10の側面と端子部13a,14aの外側端面とが面一となる。
同様に、前記圧入溝12の開口縁部のうち、テーパ面12a,12bが対向する部分に、端子部14aの内側端部を位置決めして圧入することにより、端子部14aの表裏面に、仕切り部12c,12dが圧接し、ベース10の側面と端子部14aの外側端面とが面一となる。
そして、電磁石ブロック16等を組み付けたベース10にケース20を嵌合することにより、組立作業が完了する。

以上の説明から明らかなように、請求項1にかかる電磁継電器によれば、ケースの内側面に設けた突部が、ベースの側面に設けたテーパ面および圧入した端子部の外側端面に接合する。このため、従来例のような隙間がベースの底面縁部に生じない。この結果、蟻等の異物の侵入やシール剤の不必要な侵入を防止できるので、動作不良の発生を防止できるとともに、シール剤を節約でき、製造コストを低減できるという効果がある
