この発明は、自転車の前輪と後輪にそれぞれ取り付けた二つの自転車用錠を同時に施錠したり開錠できるようにした自転車用錠に関し、前後の錠にサークル錠を用い、両サークル錠の錠杆にフレキシブルロッドをそれぞれ連結し、このフレキシブルロッドの基端を別に備えた錠ケース内で同時に施錠したり開錠できるようにしたにこと特長とするものである。

自転車には通常1個の錠前が取り付けられている。また、1個の錠前の施錠、開錠操作をフレキシブルロッドでハンドル部において遠隔操作できるようにした自転車用錠には、例えば実公平6ー29179号公報と実開平7ー6442号公報がある。
また、本出願人の先願には一方の錠前の錠杆と他方の錠前の錠杆をフレキシブルロッドで連結して、一方の錠前の施錠開錠を他方の錠前の錠杆に伝達するようにした自転車用錠として、特願平8ー330448号がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
車体に取り付けた1個の錠前の施錠では不安がある場合には、他にチエン錠を併用することも行われているが、その場合、施錠、開錠の操作を2度ずつする必要があるので煩瑣になる。これに対して一方のサークル錠に他方のサークル錠を連動させるようにした特願平8ー330448号の自転車用錠は有利であるが、一般にサークル錠の操作側は車体の左側となるので、右側で乗降する人にとっては操作しにくいという欠点は解消されていなかった。

このようなことから、本発明が解決しようとする課題は、前後二つのサークル錠を連動させて、施錠開錠の煩瑣性を解消するとともに、右降りの人左降りの人の別のない操作ができるようにした自転車用錠を提供することにある。

そこでこの発明は、自転車の前輪に沿うフレームと後輪に沿うフレームとに、それぞれ自転車用サークル錠を取り付け、この前後のサークル錠の錠杆にそれぞれフレキシブルロッドを接続し、二つのロッドの基端の内の一方は錠ケース内で折り返し走行できるようにして、自転車のシートパイプの上部域に沿って取り付けられた錠ケース内に導入し、導入した二つのロッドの基端を該錠ケース内にスライドを自在にして備えられ、かつ、ケース外に操作レバーを臨ませた鉤板に接続し、該鉤板の一方向の動作に牽引されるフレキシブルロッドを介して上記前後のサークル錠の錠杆をそれぞれ施錠位置に移動せしめ、かつ、施錠位置に移動した鉤板を錠ケースに付設した錠機構の施錠レバーにロックさせるように構成することにより、前後二つのサークル錠を同時に施錠、開錠操作できるようにしている。

本発明によれば、自転車の前後に取り付けられた二つのサークル錠は、車体の中央部となるシートパイプに取り付けた錠ケースで施錠、開錠されることになるので、自転車の左右どちら側からも操作ができるようになる。
また、一つのレバー操作で前後両輪のロックができ、操作性とともに盗難予防効果も十分に具わる。

本発明に係る自転車用錠は、図示のように、自転車Bの前輪1に沿う車体bに取り付けられたサークル錠2と、後輪3に沿う車体b’に取り付けられたサークル錠4とを有する。
両サークル錠2,4共に錠杆を施錠するための錠機構は付設されていない。そして、復元ばね5と共にサークル錠2,4内に嵌装された錠杆6には、図示のようにサークル錠2,4の器体外に基端を引き出したフレキシブルロッド7が接続されている。

以上のように、前後に備えた二つのサークル錠とシートパイプに取り付けた錠ケースをフレキシブルロッドで接続して、錠ケース内に備えた鉤板のスライドにより同時に施錠開錠操作できるようにした本発明自転車用錠によれば、両サークル錠の操作が自転車の中央部となるシートパイプにおいてできるので、自転車の左右どちら側からも操作ができ、使用が便利である。また、一つのレバー操作で前後両輪のロックができるので、操作性の向上とともに盗難予防効果も十分に具えた錠前となる。
本発明には以上のように優れた効果がある。
