この発明は、汚泥等の発酵槽における原料の撹拌装置の改良に関し、特に、この発明では、発酵槽がループ状に構成されていて、撹拌装置がその円形部で旋回する必要がある発酵槽において、円形部で原料を均一に撹拌することができる装置を提供せんとするものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、平面的にみて長手方向中心線上を中間仕切壁で仕切られてループ状に形成された発酵槽内をスクープ式の撹拌装置が巡回し、槽内の原料を撹拌しながら搬送して発酵させる装置は公知である。特開平8−67588号公報はその一例である。この特開平8−67588号公報では、台車に載架した撹拌装置が発酵槽の直線部では往復動し、円形部では、その内端部を中心にして旋回するようにしている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
然しながら、上述のような発酵槽内を撹拌装置が作動しながら巡回するものでは、撹拌装置を円滑に移動させるために発酵槽の側壁と撹拌装置の機枠との間に隙間が必要である。特に、撹拌装置が旋回する部位では、撹拌装置のスクープにかかる負荷が不均衡となるため、直線移動部よりも大きな隙間が必要である。

また、撹拌装置が旋回するときには、スクープが旋回中心部の原料を槽内外周部に向って放擲するので、旋回中心部にすり鉢状の凹みを生ずる。この凹みに向って前述放擲した原料が上記隙間を通って逆流し、これを再度掬い上げて撹拌することとなる。すなわち、従来装置では、撹拌装置の旋回部において、原料の偏位と撹拌済の原料の逆流によって均一な撹拌ができない。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明は、上述後段の放擲した原料の逆流を完全に防止し、原料を均一に撹拌混合できるようにしたものであって、その要旨とするところは、平面的にみて長手方向中心線上を中間仕切壁で仕切られてループ状に形成された発酵槽に、槽底部の原料を掬い上げて後方に放擲しながら槽内を巡回するスクープ式撹拌装置を設けた発酵装置において、スクープ式撹拌装置Aの内側機枠には、旋回部におけるスクープ式撹拌装置Aの旋回中心軸と平行方向にスクレーパー3を固定し、該スクレーパー3の内端縁が旋回部及び直線移動部において中間仕切壁4aの壁面に摺接させたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
この発明に係る装置は、上述のように構成してあるので、撹拌装置が旋回時にスクレーパーの内端縁が中間仕切壁面に摺接し、撹拌装置の内端面と中間仕切壁面との間の隙間を密閉する。従って、放擲した原料が逆流して再混合することがなく、旋回部においても原料を均一に撹拌することができる。以下、図面に基づいてこの発明を具体的に説明する。

図1は、この発明に係る撹拌装置の側面図であり、図中、符号1は、多数のスクープ1aを装着した無端状のスクープベルト、2は、スクープベルト1の左右の側部および後方部を覆うカバー、3は、スクープベルト1の内端側のカバー2に装着したスクレーパーであり、その内端縁3aが図2および図3に示すように発酵槽4の中間仕切壁4aの壁面に接触させてある。

また、前述スクープベルト1の上端は、駆動軸5に巻回してあり、この駆動軸5は、図2に示すように旋回台7に搭載した駆動機8にチェーン8aで連結してある。そして、撹拌装置Aの旋回中心は図3に示すように中間仕切壁4aの中心線X上に位置させてある。

この発明に係る撹拌装置Aは上述のように構成してあり、図4に示すような平面的にみて長手方向中心線上を中間仕切壁で仕切られてループ状に形成された発酵槽4内を巡回して、槽内の原料を図5に示すように掬い上げ、後方に放擲して撹拌すると同時に移送する。このとき、撹拌装置Aの旋回部では、その旋回中心部分の原料が後方外周部に向って放擲され、旋回中心部分にくぼみが生じ、このくぼみに向って放擲した原料が逆流せんとする。(図6参照)このとき、この発明では、原料が逆流せんとする隙間にスクレーパー3が設けられているので、この放擲原料の逆流を阻止することができる。

このように、この発明に係る装置によれば、スクープ式の撹拌装置を有する発酵装置において、放擲原料の逆流を完全に防止して均質な発酵製品を得ることができるとともに、その発酵状態の管理を容易にしたものである。
